This guy right here knows what he is doing!!! Took my daughters wedding dress in here along with…read morethe bridesmaids dresses, and he was spot on. He was the only one in town that would alternate my daughters wedding dress how she wanted it. He took off the sleeves and made a bustle for the back of her dress to pull up the trane- and also fit it perfect to her body. All I can say is--- FANTASTIC JOB!!!! IT FIT TO A TEE- come in here folks!!! He knows what he is doing!!! Very nice job. Thank you sir so much for making my daughters dress on her big day more beautiful then it already was!!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR WEDDING DRESSES AND BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES-

LESS THAN ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE- Beautiful $550 Marchesa dress ruined, $80 to alter, and I'm out…read morealmost $700 - wife/seamstress altered from waist up when was only supposed to be taken in hip area and straps shortened. I write this review to hopefully prevent another customer service disaster like I had there today. If you don't have an issue, you won't know and good for you! The dress was not ready the day the husband promised on 7/25. He knew I wanted to pick up earlier since it's for a very important event. After several calls and attempts to pick up in the days after 7/25, the husband continued telling me that it wasn't ready, that they were working on a wedding dress. I'm sorry, but I don't really care about excuses. Anyway, we were finally able to pick up a week late. The waist up fit perfectly fine when I dropped off, and was NOT supposed to be altered. Now I cannot zip it up. Called to explain the issue and the husband giggles and tells me just come in and they'll see what they can do. Not considering or caring that I'm 1/2 hr away and my schedule is tight. I get there and they talk over each other the whole time making it very difficult to have any sort of conversation, but suffice it to say that they both kept denying that they altered the top of the dress. I saw what appeared to be chalk markings near the zipper and the sides, which is usually how they mark for altering, and pointed that out. They both responded louldy while the wife was wiping it off, denying they marked the dress. It was almost controlled chaos. I had just purchased the dress and brought to them with no markings. THEY THEN TOLD ME I MUST HAVE GAINED WEIGHT. I did not, as proven by the fact that the hip area where wife altered the dress fit perfectly, which they kept telling me. How could that be if I gained weight? It couldn't. I was obviously upset, asking them what they were going to do about it. The man told me that they could take it out on top, but that would be another alteration, ie I would need to pay for that which was ridiculous, like the whole experience. But the wife then told me there was no way to take it out. They continued talking at me, both at the same time, and the husband was laughing and smiling. It was a nightmare, they did nothing for me except lie to me and ruin my dress, cause me a lot of stress and financial distress. I am out a lot of money and need to go find another dress in two days and spend more money. If you have had a similar issue at this business, please contact me.

Please don't let this place be a source of stress on your wedding like it was mine. They cut pieces…read moreof my dress without asking me which altered the whole appearance and I had to pay a lot of money for us to try different thing to get it restored - but it ultimately never looked the same. They never asked what I wanted done, just took it upon theirselves to do what they wanted - including trying to sew up the leg slit in the dress because she thought it was too high. In addition to this - timeliness was not of importance for them. I had an hour drive and had to make extra trips and schedule childcare because they forgot to have my dress ready for scheduled appointments.

Steer clear of this seamstress. She does not do the work herself and does not mention to clients…read morethat she has other (much less experienced) women doing the alterations. She meets you, does all of the pinnings and is present for fittings which makes you believe she is doing the work. Never mentions other seamstresses. I brought her a $1100 MOB dress that was too big and it was butchered to the point I was unable to wear it or even resell it. I had 4 fittings and it got worse each time. She claimed she didn't take in the sides although the dress went from too big to way too small. This was after losing 10 pounds since the original fitting. She cut off so much fabric that it was no longer floor length. She said "I don't think it looks that bad". One sleeve was longer than the other. The built in bra was suppose to be removed multiple times. On the 3rd visit the bra had 1 cup above my breast and the other below. Not sure what "alteration" would cause that. This was when I realized someone else was doing the work. She slipped up and said, "I can't believe they didn't remove those pads again". I got in my car and my daughter said "they? She isn't doing the alterations". On the last visit, she said she couldn't make the dress any better. She admitted other women were doing the work "but they do it exactly as I mark it". I told her she needed to disclose that she wasn't doing the work when people drop off expensive clothes. She agreed to pay me $537.50 for half the price of the dress. I left the dress with her and told her she could try to sell it and make some of her money back. I didn't want there to be any way she could say I had scammed her or profited off the dress somehow. I appreciate in the end that she tried to do something to acknowledge they had botched the job but I was still out hundreds of dollars and had no dress 2 weeks before the wedding.
