The gal said she would call the store in Turkey Creek to see if they had it. I was purchasing the jacket, pants, shirt and tie. She took my name and said they would hold the jacket and pants in his size. I asked if I should buy everything there and exchange the jacket in Turkey Creek. She said no, it's best just to buy it there. Drove to Turkey Creek only to discover no one called, nothing was on hold AND they didn't have his size in the pants!!! I was then asked if I wanted to run back to the other location. Um, NO! Sounded like it was a common occurrence because I was told they never refer customers over there. I wanted to just say forget it but I had already invested a couple of hours and didn't want to start all over again somewhere else!!! I got a size up in the pants and told a belt will fix it. Wow! I will find somewhere else to spend $400+ dollars next time.

I called ahead to try to schedule a try-on and the first thing they asked me was if I was getting married in Gatlinburg, the moment I said no they may as well have hung up on me because they were rude and unhelpful from that moment on. Thankfully, they aren't the only bridal shop around- I called Fantasy Bridal and not only was the lady much more helpful and courteous, they will help you find a dress even if you are getting married somewhere other than Sevier County. Even if my plans changed drastically and I decided to get married in Gatlinburg I would still not give them my business after how unpleasant they were to me. They lost one of the straps to a hand-sewn Viking dress, and several of the buttons from two my sleeves. Each sleeve has 16 buttons; each one of them are hand cast pewter - they lost several of those, too. When I called to talk to them about it after the initial person put down the phone, I could hear them talking in the background and laughing and saying I was one of the "let me talk to the manager" kinds of people. On the contrary, I was being exceptionally polite, considering that these garments were meticulously researched, and all of them hand sewn. I was simply asking if they could look for the things that they lost. I met with a snotty attitude and no return phone calls. I seriously doubt they spent one minute looking for anything. Now I'm going to have to pay to replace the trim around the tops and bottom hemlines of my Viking dresses, and buy and re-sew 32 new hand-cast pewter buttons (the others are out of circulation, so it's going to have to be a new design) on the sleeves of 14th century French dress, because they were careless and too lazy to be bothered by a customer's request that they try to help fix what they screwed up. I'll never go back.

The owner measured, and pinned all of my pants and got to the alterations quickly and did an excellent job. They have dozens of different colors of thread to match your item perfectly and she was very pleasant to deal with and the alterations were done when expected.
