My experience here has been truly frustrating from start to finish. The shop has been untrustworthy, created unnecessary problems, and refuses to honor its own warranties. In May, I brought my truck in for a rack and pinion replacement. By the end of the day, they claimed one of my CV axle shafts was leaking and offered to replace it the next morning. I agreed. When I inspected the old part, I noticed the boot had a suspiciously clean cut--something I've never seen before, as if made with a sharp tool. While I let this slide, it was only the beginning of the problems. After picking up my truck, the traction control light was on. The shop claimed it was already on. How would you feel hearing that about a vehicle you drive daily? Research showed rack and pinion replacements can sometimes trigger this issue, and another mechanic confirmed their work likely caused it. Yet, the shop denied responsibility, claiming their scans--done late in the day--showed a pre-existing code. This didn't align with their timeline, as the rack and pinion job was supposedly completed earlier in the day. Adding to the frustration, they overlooked critical tie rod wear but were quick to suggest replacing the CV axle, prioritizing less critical issues. When I asked them for receipts for the parts they used during the May service, they refused, saying the receipts contained 'private shop information.' Instead, they assured me their warranty would cover parts and labor. That response seemed extremely sketchy to me. Why not provide basic transparency? I have records of all invoices and scans, including their timelines, which further highlight their inconsistencies. Fast forward to December: the CV axle they replaced began sitting oddly on the differential. When I went there to claim the warranty on December 9th, I discovered they had listed the wrong side for the replaced axle on their paperwork (I have the original document and the one they added to the second invoice). They were clearly insisting it wasn't the side they had changed. When I asked them to verify the part using its serial number, they gave me an absurd excuse: "All CV axles have the same serial number." Instead of resolving the issue, they blamed the differential seal and wanted to charge me for replacing it. Then they also "discovered" a transmission fluid pan leak. When I asked to see the supposed leak, they refused, claiming the truck was off the lift. However, I found no evidence of a leak after inspecting it myself, and I regularly check my driveway for leaks. Additionally, in May, they serviced my AC without asking, even though I had only requested a quote. Their invoices were inconsistent: one didn't specify which side of the CV axle was replaced, and later they incorrectly added 'right side'. This change happened within minutes after I complained about the extra charge of $145 (I have the documents) --yet another questionable practice. Timeline Concerns: - May 22: They claimed the truck was ready except for the CV axle, but the scan was performed at 4:57 PM, just before closing. - How did they finish all rack and pinion work in 33 minutes? - May 23: The alignment was done at 2:42 PM. - May 24: I picked up the truck. I've spent a significant amount of money at this shop and received nothing but poor service, excuses, and headaches. Professionals are supposed to offer honesty, competency, and accountability. Save yourself the possible trouble and find a reliable mechanic. I went to Quality Alignment for a second opinion they test drove, then put it on the alignment rack and determined that the noise was a loose wheel cover. They did not charge me to look at this problem. They were helpful, courteous and treated me with honesty. I would highly recommend this shop . read more

Moved to Boise from out of state and was really worried I would not find a good, reliable alignment/suspension shop. Took my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ (stock) in for an alignment and to check for a "clunk". 1) My appointment was for 4pm. I dropped it off at 3:50. I watched the tech take my truck out on a road test at 4. How many of us have had an appointment at a shop, get there on-time, you drop it off on time, and then the shop sits on it for hours/days before they start? Not Quality alignment! They got right to work RIGHT ON TIME!! They earn their first star. 2) I figured dropping my Jeep off at 4pm it would not be done until the next day. They called me less than an hour later, all done. WHAT?! Alignment complete, clunk fixed. They earned their second star. 3) Cost. I expected a $99 alignment and another charge to diagnose my clunk. Out the door cost? $99. Star #3. 4) The shop is clean, the parking lot is large and easy to get around, the waiting room is clean and quiet with plenty of seating. The guy at the counter speaks clearly, listens, and takes good notes. Star #4. 5) when I picked up my Jeep, they had a detailed work order with all my comments entered and addressed, and they gave the printout of before and after alignment (with a picture of my Jeep on the rack). It drives me nuts when I get an alignment and the shop does not give a printout. They offer a 60 day warranty on their alignments including lifted and lowered vehicles. Star #5. This shop is a good 40 minutes from my house but they have earned my business from here on out. Thanks Quality Alingment!! See you guys again very soon! read more

I compared rates for a lot of work on our Yukon with the GMC dealership in Nampa and the dealership was 3-4 times more expensive on every single issue. We also used them to replace our tire sensors and the next day ended up getting a flat tire. No one could figure out what happened to the tire but they replaced the tire for free because they just had our car and did work on the tires! So kind and generous! Thank you Quality Alignment! Dustin, the manager is unprofessional, doesn't listen to customers, doesn't understand conflict management, won't stay out of conversations that aren't his nor does he know how to apologize for his bad behavior at his workplace. Read on if you want to know the long story... There was a misunderstanding/miscommunication and a lack of follow through with this company the first time I visited. I wrote a review with low stars. I was called by Dustin, the company's manager, who said he wanted to resolve the issue that occurred. I thought that was nice, and I was hesitant because he was defensive on the phone call, but I said ok anyway. Today, I brought my vehicle back in for a second look at the same issue. In person and on the phone call Dustin acted like he knew everything that happened on my first visit when he was never involved in my first visit there. I personally was willing to communicate and resolve the issue and take my review down, if I was in the wrong. But, Dustin left a bad taste in my mouth after my second visit. Hopefully he doesn't treat other customers the way he did me. When I arrived at this company the second time for a second opinion on the same problem, Dustin almost immediately was on the defense again telling me the whole story of what happened when he was never there in the beginning. He did not ask me for my side of the story and when I asked him if I could explain, he said yes and then cut me off when I started telling my side of the story. He threw accusations at me that were untrue and even lied to me about what my first review online said. And he didn't have the new information that was needed to understand what happened in the first place. After berating me and treating me like shit, I finally had no other choice, but to scream at the top of my lungs for him to finally shut the fuck up and listen to me for a small moment. That got everyone's attention. When he again cut me off, I told everyone I will not deal with this man any more. No one deserves to be talked to so disrespectfully as he did to me. I then talked to Tom, the other manager, who treated me with respect, listened to me, understood everything I told him, explained and showed me the issue with my vehicle. I really appreciated this professional interaction. Dustin continued to come around while I was talking to Tom, which was unnecessary. It was also very nice that Tom took 5 minutes of his time to fix an issue with my windshield wiper and didn't charge me for it. That was very kind. Dropped off a car have a fuel pump and sending unit replaced so the fuel gage would work. After paying $500 to pick it up the fuel gage still does not work. I called and told them this, I was told well you brought the part in. We did what was asked And installed it. when I dropped the car and part off the part I did explained the problem and said I have a part to fix what I think the problem is. Install it if need be but the fuel gage does not work. I owned a business abs would have said I can see how this was a grey area due to miscommunication and would have offered half off the total to keep a customer who has spent thousands with me. I am not supper mad, just disappointed after being a customer for so long that no attempt to assume some blame was taken. I wont be back. read more

Hands down one of the easiest to deal with and best truck repair shops I've been around. From the initial inspection to the final bill the guys in the office are professionals. Royce took a quick spin in my truck and quickly diagnosed the issue (something that 2 other shops weren't able to do) and got me a quote. The prices seem fair to me after looking around at other shops. These guys stand by their work and offer great guarantees on their products. This is one of those... Was really quick on service of my car when I brought it in, but I was told I needed a chamber replacement on my car and could be not charged for another alignment if I came in within 60 days. That's what I did I got the part myself and had them do the service but ended up charged for part of an alignment even though I paid them for the service already... just doesn't make sense at all. read more
