The staff took the time to help us find a simple, but unique frame, and demonstrated the difference between normal and museum glass (usually we'd probably do normal glass, but in this case the museum glass was totally worth the splurge). We explained what our calligrapher had told us and they reassured us that they would be able to match the paper color and properly space the glass (and they did!). I never thought the process of replacing old windows and a door would be so tedious. At first, we…read morecontacted Lowe's, Pella, Home Depot, and WindowRama, thinking that dealing with an experienced big box store would be a cut and dry process. Their attractive financing options didn't hurt either. We could not have been any more wrong. Pella's costs were ridiculously high, although incredibly nice. Home Depot was very aggressive in trying to make a sale and the representative outright said they would do anything they could to get our business because he needed to make his quota by the end of the year. The guy, who was a bit too misogynistic for my liking, offered questionable products and said we had to make a deal with him within a five day window. WHen we asked him for a quote on better quality products from a different manufacturer, he simply stopped returning our calls. WindowRama was poorly run. The lady in the store did not answer my calls when I was lost and trying to find their store. When I finally made it into the store, I realized it was because she was on the phone with a friend of hers. She made me wait for 15 minutes while she finished up her conversation. By the time I finally got to talk to her, I found out the products they offered we even more expensive than any of their competitors. Lowe's was a complete mess. The representative told us the discounts we would get and the price we saw in the initial estimate was much higher than what we would pay. When we asked him for the actual price, it was even higher. When we questioned this, he was rude to us. We asked him to come over on multiple occasions to talk about everything. He bailed on all the appointments and did not so much as give us any advance notice or answer our calls. He even made an appointment with us when he was in our neighborhood. I bailed on taking my daughter to her friend's birthday party for him and he still didn't show up. It was absurd. Fortunately, the manager at Lowe's stepped in and helped us out and gave us the products we wanted at the discounts the representative promised with the financing we needed. That's when Frank of Pascucci Home Improvements entered the picture. We refused to use any of the contractors from the big box stores because of those bad experiences and a family friend recommended Frank. He was amazing. He came over right away, offered us a good price, threw in extra work for no additional cost, and did an incredibly professional job. He also pointed out things that the representatives from the other stores did not (ie. the front door that they priced out was smaller than our current front door and would require additional work to both the interior and exterior of the house if we went that route. Frank and his crew did a terrific job. Everything that he did looks great and I would absolutely use him for future projects and recommend him to anyone looking to replace/add windows or doors.

This is a long-overdue review for the man who made our townhouse renovation turn out to be the high…read morequality product we envisioned. Warren was on-site working every day on our renovation for at least two months. During that time, he put up crown moulding, installed wainscoting, installed a custom-built cherry dressing room, a panelled powder room and, most complicated of all, a custom-built and very complicated mahogany library. Warren is careful and thoughtful in his work. Very often he will suggest alternative ways to accomplish your project that are better than what you thought was possible. He is helpful to all other workers in the vicinity, always quick to lend a hand or a suggestion to someone who needs help. In a house full of workmen, Warren quickly became the go-to guy everyone would ask for advice or assistance, because he was clearly the best, most talented workman in the house. But beyond this, Warren is simply a really nice guy. He is a pleasure to have around. Very easy going with a gentle sense of humor, and respectful and sensitive to what you say (and what you don't say). If we could have done the entire renovation using only Warren, we would have, happily. Of course, that wouldn't have been possible, but if there was anything we could have Warren do, he was always the first one we asked. As with any renovation, we had problems that various people caused us. A lot of the custom wood pieces that Kane delivered to us were cut wrong or didn't work for whatever reason. Long after I stopped speaking to some of these people, Warren maintained a cordial relationship with them and extracted the maximum amount of help he could in order to keep the project moving along. I could go on at length, but suffice it to say Warren is a solid human being, an extraordinarily talented finish carpenter, and a positive, unifying force with his co-workers. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you have carpentry work that needs to be done right the first time, no matter how difficult, this is the man to call.

Warren Yeager never arrived, he never even called, left messages etc. Not only did he inconvenience us by causing us to leave church early, he also caused us to prolong our search for a reputable contractor. I have found that, a persons "word" is a great indicator of ones integrity, work ethic etc. I guess i'm glad we learned of his character this way, instead of in such a way as; not completing the job, or doing a shoddy job, or mishandling our project. His work looks good on his website, but then again so does most contractors. We as consumers try to make wise decisions, - and I as a grad of the University of Penn like to think I have a fighting chance of doing so- but it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so as businesses have the advantage of spending heavily on "marketing" in order to present themselves in the best light. We try to search for reviews, however, that too can be deceptive as businesses themselves can post their own favorable remarks about themselves. In the end, we do our best by checking licenses, and try to get a feel for the people we are dealing with. Mr. Yeager has shown the propensity to be dishonest at worst, and disorganized at best. I hope this review will help any subsequent potential customers in going fourth in the arduous task of hiring the right contractor.
