One of the best optometrists you can go to. Had to go here for a second opinion due to the military. He helped me with every single thing I asked for even wrote a letter to the military. Will go above and beyond for his patients. Highly recommend anyone to come here. read more

One star for just being nice but not doing the job. Waiting 3 months for my 4 per temporary contact lens, that last only a month , of course they weren't the right prescription, and after that, I got the very nice response. If I don't like it I should wait for the next year to get money from my insurance because they don't have any money left to order a per of glasses or contact lentos. Insurance payed them $ 2000.00 seriously? On top of that they lied to my insurance's company that they gave me contact lentos for 1 year. Very upset . read more

Unprofessional front desk service. The appointment was confirmed but it didn't show up on their system. The staff took no interest in rescheduling or helping. Hopefully their service was poor too. Wondering about all the 5 stars. read more

1 month ago, I started experiencing some irritation in my left eye. I was stubborn about seeing a doctor because I thought it would resolve on its own. Unfortunately, my body let me down and it continued to bother me. Today, I hoped Dr. Q could squeeze me in for an appointment. I called his office and spoke with his secretary (she was sweet and pleasant) who took down my information and told me Dr. Q would give me a call. He called me back in just an hour! Usually, my doctors are very difficult to get a hold of, but he was on point. While speaking with him on the phone, he was very thorough in asking me what my symptoms were. He wanted to make sure he was correct in his diagnosis and told me he could squeeze me in tonight at 6:30 PM. He probably caught on to how concerned I was about possibly losing my eyeball -- he obliged to working late!! Hands down, his exam/appointment was the best I've ever experienced. I've seen my fair share of optometrists and I'm relieved to say I finally found my long-term optometrist. He is incredibly knowledgeable, comprehensive, patient, and attentive. And he was actually very entertaining -- which made the entire appointment pretty awesome. He diagnosed me and offered a variety of resources to treat my condition. I'm a student and am fairly budget conscious. Dr. Q was helpful in providing affordable options. All in all, I'm thankful he decided to open his practice here in Folsom, CA. As a side note, the office is well put together, very clean, and organized. They also have advanced, high-tech equipment. I feel secure knowing they are up-to-date with the newer products on the market! read more

This was a nice little office. The doctor and receptionist were friendly and happy to help. At the beginning of the appointment they put my glasses in a machine that must have read the prescription, then after my exam the Dr told me there was a slight change in my vision which didn't surprise me since it changes ALL the time. The receptionist told me both of my eyes were the same (before my right eye was worse than my left) so buying a new pair of glasses would be beneficial. She helped me pick out the frames and she gave me a good deal. When I went home I compared my old prescription to my new one and... they were exactly the same! So I'm knocking off a star because I spent $200 on glasses I didn't actually need. It doesn't hurt to have an extra pair of glasses and I do like the cute frames, but if they had correctly told me my vision didn't change I would've used that money for something else. EDIT: Dr. Q reached out to me personally and remedied my issue, so I'm adding a star. read more

If I has to summarize this place in a couple words it would be "more than accommodating" Simply put they will do what is necessary to earn your business. We called in last minute telling them our dire situation... Insurance hasn't kicked in, last pair of contacts, last contacts just ripped, I don't know what to do. We arrived to this place apprehensive, too good to be true. We were sat down immediately and he asks a lot of questions to fully understand our situation, any time we had a question he would answered it completely. At the end of the day we walked out of there with new contacts and a very good experience. Oh yeah.... Did I mention they PRICE MATCH, we paid the same as a place we went to last year with insurance. They have our business, that's all I need to say. read more

From the first impression (on the phone to make an appointment) this office excelled! You can hear them smiling over the phone The front desk ladies have good customer service. They genuinely care for you. I love that they offer Saturday appointment too. The office was very clean and organized. They were very knowledgeable in the different types of contacts and glasses they offer. Dr. Quach is great! He answered all my questions regarding my prescription. My whole family went in for a checkups and had a great experience. I ordered contact from them and I received them very quickly. I even got a rebate $$ for ordering a years worth.. I will recommend this office to everyone! read more

There are not a lot of eye doctor's that are as personable is Dr. Q. He is one of the best. His practice is very organized. For starters, there are hundreds of frames on display. Pretty much something for everyone of every age and gender. The store is extremely clean and very nice inside. The receptionist was very knowledgeable, friendly, and best of all very helpful. Of course, Mr. Q was the main attraction! I was very impressed with his vast knowledge. He diagnosed me with Keratoconus, a curvature of the cornea, an issue that no other eye doctor had been able to determine. I am now taking the proper steps to fix my ailment. But not for Dr Q. I would never have known this. I am forever grateful and can definitely say that my family and I are customer's for life. Great job Dr. Q! read more

The first time I was here I had an eye infection. The doctor got me in (between appointments) and promptly prescribed some medicine. The staff was kind and empathetic. Due to the excellent service, I had my entire family go back (all of us wear glasses). Again, we received excellent service. My children were all very comfortable. Having purchased glasses at Walmart, Lens Crafters, and Costco (discount places) I can without a doubt say this is the best experience my family has had. Thank you folks for everything! read more

Finally a great location to get eye wear in folsom. Costco's nice if you like the dollar tree quality glasses, but for quality and style go to QT Optometry. Wayne is more than accommodating when it comes to testing your eyes and helping you chooses a pair of stylish glasses that fit and work with your prescription. Come and check out QT its definitely worth it. read more

Seriously great customer service. Probably the best I've ever experienced, hands down. (And I never write yelp reviews...ever) If you live in folsom, or the surrounding area there is NO question about coming here for all your optical needs. Heres why- 1. Professional and knowledgeable staff 2. Friendly and welcoming environment 3. Great prices I mean what more can you ask for? 20/20 vision? Yeah I cant help you there. I went in there today because the plastic nose piece on my glasses fell off, they were kind enough to replace it for free and even provided me a weeks worth of contacts until my contact shipment comes in. QT's the best. Honestly, if you go anywhere else you'd be missing out. read more

Dr. Q is competent optometrist - and happens to be friendly and funny. He is welcoming and answered to any of the questions I had faithfully. Also this place is fairly new - all the interiors are fresh and modern and the equipment are of the newest, bestest technologies (no more shooting a shot of air through your eyes to gauge your eye pressure - man I hated those machines). I made the easy choice of making Dr. Q my go-to optometrist while my stay at Folsom. If you are looking for an optometrist in the area, definitely check this place out. read more

I got glasses from here a couple months ago when I moved to the area. I found a frame (good selection) and paid a good bit of money for top of the line, anti-reflective lenses. When I got them, they made me sick to wear and seemed off. I told them and they adjusted some things and remade the lenses telling me sometimes it takes time to adjust. (I've been wearing glasses since I was 10. Never had to take time to "adjust") It's about 3 months later, I still can't wear my over $300 glasses because they make me sick. Dr. Q seemed nice I wish I could post a better review, but I also wish I got glasses that I could actually use. read more

What mom likes to go to the eye doctor and have drops put in their child's eye that stings? I think I can say no one! But sometimes it's unavoidable, due to the need to fully examine the eye. Dr. Nguyen, is not only patient and friendly, his experience really shows thru! He makes you feel your his favorite patient, always asks and answers the correct questions and he adds in some cute humor to keep patients feeling calm. It's also nice to actually leave a doctors office and feel relaxed and happy about your experience. I wish him and his lovely staff, a very long and successful business. Beautiful, up to date office with knowledgeable staff with a wonderful kind and caring Dr. Great selection of frames with competitive prices. They taught me how important my eyes are and how taking care of them is not only important, but a must! I always thought glasses were so expensive, but when you think about it, we have no second thought about spending $500+ on some phone or gaming system, yet we want our glases to be completely free with insurance? That's not how we should be viewing our most important sense. The most important thing is to be able to see everything the way it was meant to be seen. read more

I just recently got glasses. I went somewhere else first for my test and the prescription was a bit heavy (felt like I was in the Millennium Falcon all the time). I went to QT because they're close to my job and I wanted another test/opinion on the prescription. Dr. Q: is great. Took plenty of time to ask why I was getting a 2nd opinion, even recommended I go back to the place I originally went to. I had bought glasses online and he never pushed me to buy from his shop or said anything negative about my choice as a glasses noob. Also, this guy is hella cool and made the exam a lot easier (I'm not a massive fan of getting stuff put in my eyes, like drops or anything, but he was very good about accommodating that). The store: Very clean, great selection of frames and brands, very laid back place. You can certainly go cheaper at another place, but I really think it's worth your while (will explain in next paragraph). Overall, the store and lab rooms are very nice and you'll be comfortable trying on frames. Customer Service: I mainly dealt with Courtney up front and she is a big reason I ended up buying frames from these guys. For starters, they ordered a pair of frames just for me to try on and see if I liked them. I did, and I ended up buying them. They were pricey but they're much better (as are the lenses) than the ones I previously had bough online. Beyond that, I, like a dumbo, bent them somehow, and since they're plastic, I figured my new frames were scrapped, but Courtney is a frickin wizard and was able to repair them for me by heating them up and bending them and by, as far as I can tell, some dark arts sorcery got them back to newish shape. Either way, this, alone, is the best reason to buy from a store and not online. If you have any issues with the lenses, they'll do a swap on-site. If you need them adjusted or fixed (within reason) they'll do it on-site. not to mention everyone there is very friendly and easy to talk to. I seriously can't recommend this place enough. I know you can buy some $100 glasses from Warby Parker or some other site, but you really get a LOT more in customer service and frame quality from QT! read more

Awesome customer experience! I called to make my appointment on short notice and was able to get a 5pm appointment within just to two. I unfortunately was running late due to traffic but Dr. Q was so comforting in telling me not to rush. I've been wearing glasses 10 years now and this was hands down my best and most thorough eye exam. I feel like Dr. Q went above and beyond and I can't wait to come back and see him again. I will no longer procrastinate my annual eye exam! Call and book your appointment today. read more

Definitely glad I went with QT Optometry. Dr. Q is personable, funny and makes sure you understand every step of the exam process. I came here some time ago so I'm not sure if there has been any difference since then. That being said I can see this office being a little better in the future. When I walked in I instantly liked how colorful everything was. It has somewhat a boutique-y feel. The frames are displayed nicely in a way you don't see in too many other offices. BUT it seemed so empty. The stools looked very uncomfortable there was no reading material it was just a big open awkward space. If I had an appointment here I guess I could look at some frames while I wait but there wasn't a very wide range of selection. Which is not to say I couldn't have found something but it just didn't feel very inviting. The bathroom was one of those empty back of a grocery store types, you know the ones where you're slightly unsure of whether you should hold it or not. It was clean but like the front end of the store very empty and uncomfortable looking and feeling. I don't know if the Dr was there or not because I didn't see one but there was a receptionist. She seemed nice enough but she would be the reason I would not come back. Her accent was SO THICK. I can't imagine trying to ask her to help me and actually know what is going on through the process. With all the other things that just didn't seem up to par with this "retail environment" that was the final straw for me, there was nothing there that made me want to do that much work while buying glasses. It seemed very new and from what I can tell of how few reviews there are it must be, but it almost looks SO new that it shouldn't even be open yet. It's close to where I live so it's possible that I would stop by again on the way to Safeway, hopefully by then things will be farther along then they are. read more

It isn't often one encounters sincere efforts to help in today's world. I was lucky. Ceijaira and Courtney took the time necessary to help me in the search for new eyeglasses. This was one errand I felt was time well spent. Dr. Quach was very thorough during the eye exam. The equipment at his office was amazing. Completely digital! There were some tests he did there that my old optometrist never did, like checking my peripheral vision and measuring the prescription on my old glasses to compare them with the new. His opticians were very helpful, and honest, in helping me select frames and glasses at a price I was comfortable with. Not to mention, his store front looks amazing, and the whimsy of a cloud sculpture on the ceiling of the exam room, you'd have to see to appreciate. read more

Very convenient located. I really enjoyed the atomsphere inside which was very welcoming. Dr. Quach's office had alot of selections of glasses to pick from which is one reason I normally look for when I am picking an eye doctor to go to. The exam was done with very updated machines which I thought was very cool, where most places still use the old ones. read more

Best experience I've ever had with an optometrist. I went to Dr. Q after moving to Folsom and he is a very knowledgable, personable, and generous guy. He really takes his time to get to know his patients; we spent at least 15 minutes talking about tech and cryptocurrencies. He even offered to come in before hours to accommodate my schedule. Dr. Q is awesome. He did a thorough exam and answered all my questions. He is a pretty funny guy also so it made the exam more pleasant. He then even helped me pick out my new glasses! All in all the best exam/appointment I have ever experienced! Dr Q takes his time giving you a very through exam, asking you questions & answering all of your questions. I was probably in his office for at least an hour, then onto frame selection, I needed a prism added to my lens so De Q even came out & explained which type of frames would work best.
