I love treating myself to a mani/pedi for this week. So I went to the search bar on Yelp to find a place, and this place was the first on the list with 5 stars, so I said why not? I had called the same day to get an appointment and they had me in at 1:00pm. I walked in and was brought to the wall of nail polishes to pick out my toe colour, which I chose purple, because come on, it's the best colour. I was then taken to the pedicure chairs, and my feet soaked in a massage tub of blue water. It was delightful. The aesthetician was very good at her job, from the filing, to the actual toenail painting. The massage on my feet and lower legs was very relaxing. They also give you a bottle of water for your time there as well. I had my fingernails shellacked as well, same process of dipping my fingers in the warm water, filing, and massaging of my hands. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this. The aesthetician made small conversation with me, but mostly talked to her coworkers, which was fine, I didn't mind at all. I had a beautiful cobalt blue done on my hands, no design this time. The price of the shellac manicure and regular pedicure came to about $62 after tax, and of course tip, a little on the expensive side, but worth it for the quality and time that was put into my hands and feet and will last a long time. For payment though, they only take cash or debit, no credit card.

I got a shellac manicure, normal pedicure, and 2 beautiful designs on my nails and it came to about $62. It is a bit on the pricier side but definitely less than other salons in the city. The only thing I would say negatively, is that when you're in the back room for a facial, you can hear a lot going on in the salon, so it's not super 'peaceful', but it's still great! I have heard horror stories about shellac removal and normally opt for regular polish but I was very happy with the service here. I couldn't remember what brand of shellac I had on (apparently some brands are easier to remove than others) so it took about 30 minutes, which apparently is longer than usual. But, that's because she didn't just scrape it off and ruin my nails. The woman who helped me took her time and was very patient and gentle. I ultimately made the decision to go to Kathy Nails for a full set of UV gel nails. I called to book an appointment, and got one for the next day. They also quoted $35 for a full set of UV gel nails over the phone. I arrived at the salon ten minutes before my appointment, but there were three clients still getting their nails done, and only two nail techs. I had to wait for 30 minutes - 20 minutes PAST my scheduled appointment time. Once the wait was over, one of the nail techs began working on my nails, and the other finished. They were both super nice, and we had nice conversations :) They were both very gentle with my nails, and I felt comfortable with the cleanliness of the place. After my nails were done, I was asked to pay $45 even though they said $35 over the phone. Overall, I like this place, and if I were to get my nails done again, I'm definitely down to return. I may not get long nails again though - they're so difficult to type with, and this review took me twice as long to type!

Our feet and his nails look the same, as if we did not get anything done at all. Save your money!!! Do not go here. Not worth it for the price.
