Erik helped me out and solved many pool issues, including black algae. He is a very nice and helpful person. Very knowledgeable as well. Beyond all, you can trust him. He doesn't oversell or overcharge like some other pool guys I worked with do. I highly recommend Erik !!

That might have been the end of the review but they have proven to be an outstanding provider. Eric (one of the proprietors), is very responsive and overall, just a great guy. Recently, I noticed a small leak in our Rollo injector that was squirting onto the grass. The leak was pure chorine and there was a significant dead patch of grass. I sent Eric a text (I believe it was on a weekend) to which he immediately responded, he came out the very next day which was also on the weekend. He found the leak and sent one of his guys out to fix it. Now that would be amazing in and of itself but there's more. He sent a man out from a landscape company to dig out the contaminated soil and re-sod the area where the dead grass was. This level of customer service blows me away. Blue Cube is the real deal, there was no begging and cajoling to do the right thing. They just did it and it was their idea. As for the price, I am amazed they can be so competitive. They are careful about what they take on because they want to be able to provide the best customer service so they have chosen grow their their business responsibly, while some pool services just take on as many pools as they get calls for, Blue Cube limits the clientele to a number that they can manage. I waited to do this review because I wanted to be sure they were the real deal. We are coming up on one year and I am very pleased. If you need pool service, get your name on their waiting list and say your prayers. If you are lucky, you will be pleasantly surprised.

My experience is…read morethat this company is not about service but more on up charging & using as little as possible supplies. I have asked questions and either did not get answers or got an answer with no follow through. I was charged additional services that I didn't request or confirm I wanted. Anything that was wrong with the pool they would always blame us as if we were the ones cleaning and make us feel we were poor pool owners but they will fix with additional cost. As well knowledge of the app was very disappointing. I absolutely would not recommend and would say you're better off doing it yourself then deal with this headache. Update- Im no longer customer and 100% dealt with Johan. One of the worst experience ever dealing with him. I even followed up with the pool equipment company and everything Johan told me was pretty much wrong. He never takes responsibility and I find his knowledge of pools extremely poor to be in this business.

Pretty similar to the previous 1 star reviewer. My experience is that this company is about up charging as they go and try to make it sound like they are doing you a favor & on the other side cost cutting on construction. Lack of experience and deception trying to put blame on you instead of realizing they should explain clearly the issue. Several times when he disputed, I have most of this on video! Each time I showed him, he found something else to try and blame me for. Apparently this is a pattern, in summary, lack of construction experience, cost cutting and uncharging while putting the blame on customer saying if I did something, I lose my warranty, BEFORE construction completed. Most of this is on video! The pool in the end, would be considered ok by other pool vendors I brought in to inspect, It's only a few months old, so we'll see, but the experience was horrific. He needs some lessons in humility and accountability when he is caught, not everyone is stupid and can get wool pulled over eyes. I do hope he turns this behavior around, because I did see sparks of goodness. Amendment: 1. Appears owner is accusing negative reviewers are being fake when it's obvious the timing of the positive reviews came right after these negative reviews. 2. I did ask for changes as the owner states, which I immediately offered to pay for, However, the owner made cost reduction changes reducing deck size over 300sq ft without consulting with me. Turns out the changes I was paying for were 3x actual as well and measurements were way off. For the the changes the owner made, when called on it, got his back up and said "I don't like your attitude" and tried charging me for things we agreed on before construction started! Other thing, I realized to late was he never took elevation measurements which should be standard process, another item that wound up costing me money. He hauled off several trucks full of dirt, but wanted to charge me to bring it back.. saying, thats part of the landscaping cost. if he planned the elevation, it wouldn't cost me an additional 8 yards of dirt to fill holes under the decking he left off. I did many quotes before deciding on a vendor, each did elevations and each included "back fill" in the cost. because its dirt from the hole they dig from the pool. 3. Drawings: were they a sketch or architectural drawing? If they are architectural, the measurements would be correctly listed and able to corroborate, however, owner refused to update the drawing after promising he would. But when it came to arguing his point, he said it was a sketch.... so what is it sketch or architectural drawing? On the final day the owner started shouting at me when I asked him to provide. Scared the shit out of me and my son! 4. We made agreement 3x to resolve these discrepencies , and each time, when it came time to proceed or something else got done, the owner changed his mind on that agreement and wrote a whole new contract with a gag order. If resolved professionally, owner wouldn't need gag order. I obviously didn't sign it because I knew he would not stop changing things! 5. At the end of the day, the truth is I signed the closeout because I was sick and tired of hearing his lies and deception Screaming in front of many people. Agressive behavior is on video recordings.... On 2 occasions I asked him to leave the property because he was getting too heated, Owner would not leave the house after me asking several times. He attacked an HOA fence contractor trying to get him to turn on me when he had nothing to do with anything! ON VIDEO!!!! HE did the same with the HOA office screaming at them as well, 4+ times in the office ranting and raving. And by the way, he has my phone number blocked right after I sent him copies of some of the videos and hasn't answered any txt messages since! if he wants direct communication, he should allow it. IF owner wanted this review NOT to happen, he would have made good on agreement covering uncommunicated short sidedness in planning and communicating changes made by the owner.
