I've been going to QQ Nails for years, but the way my concern was handled after my latest appointment was unacceptable. I got a mani-pedi. My pedicure looks fine, but my manicure looks terrible. When I called to explain that the polish appeared old, the woman responded, "Well, you chose the nail polish." I chose a color. Customers should be able to trust that the salon's polish is suitable to use. They offered to fix the polish that evening, but I couldn't return before traveling. They then offered a color change on Tuesday, when I returned. I was fine with a color change as the correction. The problem was the timing: I would already need to have my nails fixed in Florida, so I wouldn't need another color change on Tuesday. I asked whether they could apply that correction at my next manicure instead. She repeatedly said they wouldn't cover a manicure, even though polish is already included in the manicure price. There was no flexibility or useful resolution offered beyond returning Tuesday for a color change I wouldn't need and spending more time at the salon. The manicure was a fixable issue. The customer service made it much worse. The woman, who identified herself as Qui, blamed me and hung up on me twice. When I asked to speak with a manager and when one would be available, she told me, "It's not my job to know when the manager is working." She also told me they had 10,000 positive Google reviews and that a negative review from me wouldn't hurt them. I called looking for a reasonable resolution. If you request a mani-pedi combo, they do both with you in the chair. They sit beside you making you twist awkwardly. The lady that did my nails was not super attentive and cut every single one of my cuticles, the sides of my nails, and even somehow the top of my finger. I didn't realize how bad it was, because I get my nails done a lot and know that sometimes getting slightly knicked happens and I have a high pain tolerance. It really set in within 24 hours as to how bad my nail beds and all surrounding skin hurt, but I didn't have time to go in, and I already paid for the service. Unfortunately, updating my former 5 star review to 1. The front desk lady / owner is absolutely toxic to customers and her own techs. All the good techs have now left to start their own salon. I've come here for a year and she's repeatedly "lost" my appointment and made me wait an hour. I've repeatedly watched her be rude, abrasive and irresponsible to other customers. I guess today was my turn. After a botched manicure where I was repeatedly cut 7 times by the new tech - once to the point of bleeding and having to go clean my finger in the bathroom - AND a bad paint job, I asked her for the slight courtesy of a partial discount. I almost felt bad to wake her but as soon as I said "hello" she woke up and sent me to chair 5. The 2 ladies who did my mani/pedi were wonderful. I did a hard gel refill manicure and a gel pedicure. I was told they have complimentary drinks; I asked for champagne and apparently you need to do the "deluxe" pedicure valued at $60 for this option. Which is odd but fine otherwise. Everything else was satisfactory but I do want to point out that my right toe does not meet my standards of a gel pedicure. I returned after being promised a discount due to an issue with a prior service. However, when I came back, the front desk woman was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing the situation, she refused to have a conversation and showed no interest in resolving the issue. During my service, the nail that had the original problem was cut down, and I was then told I would be charged to have it properly filed--even though the issue was caused by their previous work. That completely contradicts what I was told before returning. I was also told they no longer accept Zelle or Venmo and was directed to use their ATM or go to the bank. After going out of my way to get cash, I later found out they actually do accept Venmo, which made the situation even more frustrating. What upset me most was not the money--it was the lack of accountability and basic customer respect. I had always received good service here in the past, which is why this experience was so disappointing. It felt like customer satisfaction no longer mattered. This place is an absolute dump and they gave me the WORST powder dip pedicure I've ever had in my entire life, no exaggeration. They only take cash which is understandable now that I see their work as they probably don't want credit card chargebacks. I had a powder dip manicure and literally the next day one of the nails peeled off. I went back that day to fix it and it chipped the following day, along with 3 other nails. This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. Health and safety inspectors should really visit this place. Went in for a simple pedicure. The towels were super dirty. Looked like they were reused from last customers with stains. I didn't even see them remove the tools from a sterilized container total pedicure was 15 min. When she was cutting my cuticles and edges she actually pulled at the nail that was hanging instead of making a clean clip. That led to bleeding. With how dirty this place is I'm worried I'll get an infection. I had to tell the elder lady to be gentle twice. She's very rough I doubt she even has a valid license as she had NO idea what she was doing. I think a child would have done better. Never would recommend this place to anyone. read more

As I sit and look at the quality of my nails I could not help but write a review. I came to this nail salon twice. The first visit my pedicure was really nice. The lady who did my nails was not the best nail tech but she did her best. I asked for a simple design but although she didn't do what I asked she still tried her best to make them look nice. I should have noticed there would be a problem when I seen the lady next to me complain about the quality and design of her nails but I still decided to give them a chance. Two weeks later I returned to get my nails done again and the nail tech was nice but she had no idea on how to design or shape nails. As I explained what I wanted 5 times which was almond or coffin shape nails she decided to shape them how she wanted to shape them. I asked her for cat eye design and she didn't even do that. I was so frustrated I just told her I was ready to leave and just finish polishing them. The staff did nothing, one lady asked what I wanted twice and she explained it to the nail tech but I guess she didn't understand. The fact that the staff didn't try to make it right or have a returning happy customer is the reason why I won't be returning. I don't mind paying for my service but I would like good service not mediocre. I would like to receive service from a staff that actually cares.
