Went to OPI Nails today ... didn't know that Leon sold the business. I had a GREAT experience. I have to admit, I kept going to OPIi because of convenience - I wasn't really impressed with the service I got all these years Today I truly felt pampered! I will go back now because of the pedicure I received read more

Such an awesome experience. In town visiting family and wanted to do a little girls day- so we called a couple hours in advance and made an appointment for 4. They accommodated us with ease. Great service and attention to detail. I had a wonderful experience with my pedicure. No waiting

They do a great job here! I also enjoy supporting a family business with kind people.

My elderly MIL has always been taken exceptional care of when she visits for her manicures by Tina. The service she provides is above and beyond the level of care that is expected. Thank you so very much for your kindness! Her nails always look fabulous and have lasted longer without any chips or damage. Highly recommend! read more

I went in on Tuesday with good feet and came out injured. The lady cut out the corner of my toenail because she said it was ingrown. I didn't think so. Now it's infected. Two toes are infected. I will never go there again. read more

Leon did my acrylics and toenails. I am in a wedding and she's been specific about how she wants our nails. The service here is incredible, my nails were done exactly how I asked them to be and he asked my opinion consistently if I wanted them tweaked. For good quality nails that you can walk away happy with- QPI is worth it. I highly recommend! Make sure to call in and set your appointment. read more

New owner, same great service. Tina provides superb service and friendly conversation. Highly recommend

I normally love this salon however the last couple times I've gone in I've left less than satisfied. I called in to schedule 2 pedicures. When we arrived there was only 1 person. She let us know she would only be doing a very basic pedicure and we had to get them done separately. I'm going to embarrass myself and post a photo of my feet the day after my pedicure. I unfortunately feel like I need a pedicure the day after my pedicure. read more

QPI Nails - My ruff feet the day after my pedicure - Nail Salons Near Me - South Jordan, Utah

My mom is getting older and was having a difficult time maintaining her feet, so we took her to QPI nails to get a little pampering and regular maintenance of her nails. She had a bad experience getting a pedicure many years ago and was hesitant to go in for one, but I used my charm and charisma to get her in and glad we did! We've had Henry several times as our tech, and he has always been kind and patient with her. They take their time here and it shows in the quality of their work. Leon took care of her today, and showed an equal amount of care for her, as well. This is a family-run business and we're glad to support them! They also have this ZZ plant and gigantic pothos that I am obsessed over. Come in to get your nails done, but also just gawk at the monstrous plants that call this place home! read more

Like that this is a local, family-owned business. I would say that upon your first visit, this place may seem like it's not for everyone, but once you've been a few times you get the hang of how they run things. Don't be afraid to tell them it's your first time there and they'll help make you feel more comfortable. I keep going back because they seriously do a good job on my pedicures and they care about cleanliness. read more

Just...ouch. I love when nail techs aggressively file down your nail until your skin starts bleeding all well telling you to "just relax" the girl who took off my original shellac was very sweet...then Lori (not 100% on the name) took over and exposed me to this torture session and then charged me for it read more

I got these nails done a week ago and they are already chipping + falling off. When I was getting them done the lady kept going all outside my nail + I told her + she said not to worry. I probably should have been more persistent. Gel manicures should last AT LEAST 2 WEEKS!!!!! They have always lasted 2+ from other salons. read more

It was a good atmosphere. They don't have enough people working sometimes so the wait can be long. Went in as a walk in but there was no room, rescheduled for the next available time. Showed up but still had to wait maybe around 15/20 mins after my initial scheduled time. Got gel nails and pedicure- which cost me around 86. I asked for the basic pedicure (on their menu it says it cost $35) but after we paid I found out it was really $50. Leaving the cost of nails to be $35. For gel manicure and pedicure. I was shocked at the price difference and think they should fix it in the menu so that there is no discrepancy. I also noticed there isn't a menu of prices except for the pedicures. So really understand what they're charging. Lady told me it was a certain amount (170$ total) but they charged $2 extra because of paying with card ... I thought it was supposed to be $1 but I guess since I paid for my friend with the same card on the same transaction (there was 2 of us) they decided to charge me $2 for the same transaction. So in all I paid ($172 for 2 gel manicure, 2 gel pedicure, and using the card once) I would come here again but I will make sure next time that I am aware of the price. Another thing I did not appreciate was that they used the same heart shape water bowl for my friend and then dumped that and refilled it for my fingers. Not sure if there is some type of sanitizing in the liquid but I did notice left over skin from her manicure in the bowl. Just felt like that wasn't that pleasant to think about. Same thing with the tool they use to get that extra skin- I noticed she used it on my friend and me without getting a new one, and hopefully she cleaned it but I didn't notice anything that hinted to me that she cleaned it. Atmosphere is good. Art is pretty. Cleanliness could be better and pricing!! Don't get shaded ask for the pricing before hand. I am always weary of nail places that don't display pricing and or do but don't follow it (like our pedicures being $50, but showing on the menu as $35) Also they will up-sell you so ask why they're doing something if you didn't ask for it. lol. read more

Walked in with no appointment, Alex took me in and did my nails. He has such great steady hands and very friendly! Very affordable, I got acrylic and gel nails. I was hesitant on what color to pick at first, but all went well and i absolutely love the color I picked out. Great location too. Although, my only complaint is that the nail polish isn't completely opaque. read more

My MIL and I got pedicures here. We called ahead (15 minutes before) and they had time for us. Lots of colors to choose from, all arranged by color too! The basic pedicure is great, with a scrub rub and some lotion (in the shape of a smiley face-such a fun touch). The massage chairs are awesome and the lights above them add to the ambiance. The employees were all so nice! My MIL felt rushed when they finished-our toes were not super dry when we left and my dog smudged one nail. It was fast and clean though. Note about payment: it's an extra dollar to pay by card and they only do cash tips. read more

This is my favorite nearby salon for a great pedicure. The service is always friendly and my toes and feet look awesome after a visit! My very favorite reason to patronize this particular visit is that I'm confident in the cleanliness of the place. I appreciate all the steps you see in making sure every foot bath is clean with each new customer. I come here with no worries! The prices might be a bit higher than some of the places right around them, but I'll continue to choose QPI Nails still. Worth it! read more

This was the worst nail salon I have ever been to and I was appalled at the service I received here. I waited for nearly an hour before being seen after being told I would only have to wait for 20 minutes for a pedicure and a manicure. All in all, I spent two and a half hours at the salon for a manicure and a pedicure. After nearly an hour, they finally began my pedicure. The pedicure was alright. I selected the lavender one and it was pretty much the standard pedicure that I have received everywhere else with the exception of some hot oil. Probably an hour after that I finally started the manicure, which took maybe half an hour. The people at the salon kept apologizing for how long they had taken. The woman used her own fingernails to get the gel nail polish off of my nail instead of a tool. It was around this time that I was informed they didn't take credit card tips so I would have to get cash and bring it back for a tip. I was not given any drinks like anybody else was who came into the salon. I wasn't even offered one. Then the guy working there had the audacity to tell me to go to Smith's to get them a tip. Honestly, I only tipped out of the kindness of being a good Yelper and for good karma. This service was atrocious and I don't even think they did a great job. Please avoid. read more

Update: Came here to get a full set and in the middle quoted $45 then at the end was told $50. I would've been fine if right off the bat told $50... but that was frustrating. Was going to leave $10 tip for the girl, but just left $5 because of the last sec price change ----------------- Ive been looking for a salon to be a regular at, since I moved down to West Jordan and Ive found it I got the pearl pedicure Rating 12/10 Pedicurist rating 12/10 Cleanliness of the salon 10/10 The Pedicurist was very thorough and took his time, I really appreciated that! My pedicure came out immaculate, I'm glad I splurged on the pearl pedicure... -The smell of the orange soak -The feeling of the paraffin wax -The hot stone massage Overall it was a great experience, I'm so happy I tried this place. read more

If there is anything to do on a three week break from nursing school it is this, GET YOUR NAILS DONE! After reviewing nail salons near me I've decided to give QPI Nails a chance. Reasons being: 1) reviews show customer satisfaction 2) pictures show that the business keeps up with modern trends 3) walk-ins are welcomed 4) acrylic sets cost $45 I dialed their number and was greeted by a man who showed a lack of interest. From a customer perspective it made me hesitant and concerned with whether I should do business with QPI Nails. With desperation and their ability to accommodate my needs two hours before closing I made my way to the salon. At time of arrival I was greeted and instructed to choose a color. Leon was my manicurist. He was friendly and converses well. I am very indecisive when it comes to choosing colors. So I was glad Leon didn't rush me or got upset when I changed colors. In fact, he recommended polishes that would leave a dazzling appearance. I trusted his convictions and am completely jubilant with the color. Now this is where I get picky. I asked for coffin shaped nails and wished Leon could've made the nails more narrow around the tips. Some top surfaces of my nails were thick and bumpy. The thickness takes away the natural appearance and distorts the crispness of the file. All of which could be avoided next time with better communication. Thank you for the pink glittered nails! I have received many comments on them. I would return because the customer service was pleasant and think they have potential to better sharpen the coffin edges by my next visit. TIPS: - Cash tips are ONLY accepted ( If you forget there is a ZION bank ATM in the parking lot. There is an addition $2-3 fee for non-zion bank members). - If you pay with credit there will is a $1 charge. - Complimentary drinks are available for customers (I asked for bottled water). read more

They took their time and didn't rush through the pedicures. They were friendly and it was a relaxing atmosphere.

In my original review I mistakenly gave only 3 stars instead of my intended 5 stars. Must have fat fingered the score. If you read my review you will see I am a HUGE fan of Leon and the entire OPI family. I go monthly and am usually lucky and get Hanna for my pedicure. She is very talented and gentle. I am often the only male customer and the time but she always makes me feel at home. They have recently remodeled and put in new equipment and always keep the facility spotless. Pedicures at QPI are a great way to start you date night with the wife. Cannot say enough about the experience, you need to make your appointment today and find out for yourself. read more

This salon is fully remodeled and absolutely gorgeous. It's open decor and variance from the normal Asian theme is refreshing and serene. The new owners are friendly and gracious. A husband and wife team, they are easy to understand and quick to try to accommodate all requests possible.
