She had a bad experience getting a pedicure many years ago and was hesitant to go in for one, but I used my charm and charisma to get her in and glad we did! We've had Henry several times as our tech, and he has always been kind and patient with her. They take their time here and it shows in the quality of their work. It was a good atmosphere. They don't have enough people working sometimes so the wait can be long. Went in as a walk in but there was no room, rescheduled for the next available time. Showed up but still had to wait maybe around 15/20 mins after my initial scheduled time. Got gel nails and pedicure- which cost me around 86. I asked for the basic pedicure (on their menu it says it cost $35) but after we paid I found out it was really $50. Leaving the cost of nails to be $35. For gel manicure and pedicure. I was shocked at the price difference and think they should fix it in the menu so that there is no discrepancy. I also noticed there isn't a menu of prices except for the pedicures. So really understand what they're charging. Lady told me it was a certain amount (170$ total) but they charged $2 extra because of paying with card ... I thought it was supposed to be $1 but I guess since I paid for my friend with the same card on the same transaction (there was 2 of us) they decided to charge me $2 for the same transaction. So in all I paid ($172 for 2 gel manicure, 2 gel pedicure, and using the card once) I would come here again but I will make sure next time that I am aware of the price. Another thing I did not appreciate was that they used the same heart shape water bowl for my friend and then dumped that and refilled it for my fingers. Not sure if there is some type of sanitizing in the liquid but I did notice left over skin from her manicure in the bowl. Just felt like that wasn't that pleasant to think about. Same thing with the tool they use to get that extra skin- I noticed she used it on my friend and me without getting a new one, and hopefully she cleaned it but I didn't notice anything that hinted to me that she cleaned it. Atmosphere is good. Art is pretty. Cleanliness could be better and pricing!! Don't get shaded ask for the pricing before hand. I am always weary of nail places that don't display pricing and or do but don't follow it (like our pedicures being $50, but showing on the menu as $35) Also they will up-sell you so ask why they're doing something if you didn't ask for it. lol. read more

I got these nails done a week ago and they are already chipping + falling off. When I was getting them done the lady kept going all outside my nail + I told her + she said not to worry. I probably should have been more persistent. Gel manicures should last AT LEAST 2 WEEKS!!!!! They have always lasted 2+ from other salons. read more

Walked in with no appointment, Alex took me in and did my nails. He has such great steady hands and very friendly! Very affordable, I got acrylic and gel nails. I was hesitant on what color to pick at first, but all went well and i absolutely love the color I picked out. Great location too. The employees were all so nice! My MIL felt rushed when they finished-our toes were not super dry when we left and my dog smudged one nail. It was fast and clean though. This was the worst nail salon I have ever been to and I was appalled at the service I received here. I waited for nearly an hour before being seen after being told I would only have to wait for 20 minutes for a pedicure and a manicure. All in all, I spent two and a half hours at the salon for a manicure and a pedicure. After nearly an hour, they finally began my pedicure. The pedicure was alright. I selected the lavender one and it was pretty much the standard pedicure that I have received everywhere else with the exception of some hot oil. Probably an hour after that I finally started the manicure, which took maybe half an hour. The people at the salon kept apologizing for how long they had taken. The woman used her own fingernails to get the gel nail polish off of my nail instead of a tool. It was around this time that I was informed they didn't take credit card tips so I would have to get cash and bring it back for a tip. I was not given any drinks like anybody else was who came into the salon. I wasn't even offered one. Then the guy working there had the audacity to tell me to go to Smith's to get them a tip. Honestly, I only tipped out of the kindness of being a good Yelper and for good karma. This service was atrocious and I don't even think they did a great job. Please avoid. read more

If there is anything to do on a three week break from nursing school it is this, GET YOUR NAILS DONE! After reviewing nail salons near me I've decided to give QPI Nails a chance. Reasons being: 1) reviews show customer satisfaction 2) pictures show that the business keeps up with modern trends 3) walk-ins are welcomed 4) acrylic sets cost $45 I dialed their number and was greeted by a man who showed a lack of interest. From a customer perspective it made me hesitant and concerned with whether I should do business with QPI Nails. With desperation and their ability to accommodate my needs two hours before closing I made my way to the salon. At time of arrival I was greeted and instructed to choose a color. Leon was my manicurist. He was friendly and converses well. I am very indecisive when it comes to choosing colors. So I was glad Leon didn't rush me or got upset when I changed colors. In fact, he recommended polishes that would leave a dazzling appearance. I trusted his convictions and am completely jubilant with the color. Now this is where I get picky. I asked for coffin shaped nails and wished Leon could've made the nails more narrow around the tips. Some top surfaces of my nails were thick and bumpy. The thickness takes away the natural appearance and distorts the crispness of the file. All of which could be avoided next time with better communication. Thank you for the pink glittered nails! I have received many comments on them. I would return because the customer service was pleasant and think they have potential to better sharpen the coffin edges by my next visit. TIPS: - Cash tips are ONLY accepted ( If you forget there is a ZION bank ATM in the parking lot. The lady who was doing my manicure left in the middle to take care of a wax of someone who came in after me without an appointment. What I disliked much more was how the whole time she was doing my nails she kept saying how unhealthy they were and I needed acrylics because too much regular polish is so unhealthy.
