I love how QDOBA doesn't charge extra for guac, so we decided to stop here while driving through town. Sadly, this was a really bad experience. There was barely a line, but some of the employees were going soooooo slowly. There was one in particular who acted like she absolutely did not want to do her job. They had the option on the screen to give a tip at the end, which I do not remember them doing before, and it was kind of comical asking as it was bad service at a fast casual restaurant. The tables were also so dirty. I did still enjoy my chicken bowl, however. I really like the flavours, and it was a good portion size for $10.66. Currently my favorite restaurant. I love their food variety. It is basically just Chipotle but bigger portions and cheaper prices. It can be slow to order because they make it while your in line. It looks really nice inside and have never seen a mean worker. They have 2 electronic fountain drink dispensers and a bathroom. My favorite thing is just Adobe Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla. Unfortunately the city I live in doesn't have QDOBA, so I was excited to try it out when I was in WF. I chose a bowl, and then proceed to select your meat, toppings, and garnishes. They have a huge selection of fresh toppings and made the bowl extremely fast. I went with a chicken bowl with cilantro lime rice, no beans, pico, salsa verde, lettuce, sour cream, guac, and cilantro and it was BOMB. Staff was extremely friendly and prompt. When I'm back in WF I'll definitely prioritize eating here again! read more

The food ( Semi-Mexican food in a bowl, a salad or a burrito) was okay, except the "steak" which was little cubes of dry, overcooked meat. But man, the place was DIRTY! The food service station was a mess and every table in the place was uncleaned. We wouldn't have eaten there at all, but it was late and we were tired and honestly, we had started to order before we noticed how bad it was. It was evident that none of the (front of the house) staff cared about their jobs. They were surly and kind of flinging the food into the bowls and when they missed, they didn't stop to clean up after themselves. I've been coming to this qdoba for 2 years now. And let me just say, the night crew that worked on Valentines day 2023 was absolutely phenomenal...you can tell that the vibes of the workers really make the entire restaurant such a wonderful experience. The line was super long out the door and each worker still made sure each customer had everything they needed with an AMAZING attitude from all of them. Two workers specifically was the gentleman with the long beard serving food who was very considerate of the people who had to wait and come back to order when they ran out of shrimp and the cashier with the broken wrist who was doing everything he could to make sure we got everything and even tried super hard to shake open a bag for us with a broken wrist!! I saw this place in Long Island, NY and just passed it by because I didn't think any restaurant in Long Island knew much about "Mexican Eats." So when I got to Wichita Falls, TX, (lol...okay so Texas knows about authentic Mexican food what? lol), I see the same place and decided to try it. OMG!! All is can say is that they give Chipotle a run for their money. Their queso is da bomb and so is the many fresh food items you can select from. Let me tell you, I've never heard of Mexican gumbo or smothered burritos but baby I was ready to sink my teeth into them both until I got stuck on the burrito bowl with chicken and steak. The quantity of food they give will easily last two days. I'm ashamed to say that taking pictures for Yelp was the farthest thing from my mind. My bad! They have a rewards club whereas you gain 20 points and get free food and they also offer gift cards in several quantities. Tonight I had three soft shell brisket tacos with the standard Mexican toppings. One thing I did like was queso is offered on top of the tacos for no additional charge. $9 total and that was with no drink. It's nice to find a new "normal" when you've moved to a completely new city. In Vegas I rarely visited Qdoba because there was only one in all of Las Vegas and it was nowhere near where I lived. However, when I lived in Reno I visited Qdoba quite often because it was actually around that city before Chipotle was. Although I do prefer Chipotle because of their dedication to natural products, and non-GMO foods I still like Qdoba, mainly for their option of dousing your burrito in queso sauce. This particular Qdoba is located in a busy shopping mall area. It is small, but it works. I experienced very nice customer service, and pretty much no wait on a week day afternoon at 12:30 PM. Their hot sauces, napkins, and etc. were stocked and the tables/floors were clean. I will be sure to return here, as WF offers very little food options compared to my hometown of Vegas. read more

With its ethically sourced meat and fresh take on Mexican food at an affordable price, Qdoba is my favorite place in Wichita Falls to grab a burrito. Yeah, it's a chain, but it's a damn good chain that doesn't cut corners to achieve a fast, budget-conscious product. If you've never been to a Chipotle or a Qdoba before, this restaurant is basically a make-your-own burrito place with a focus on fresh ingredients. You walk up to the counter, pick your style of burrito ("naked" burrito for me -- a burrito bowl), pick your meat, beans, rice, salsa, and other assorted fillings. You can get everything that you want and leave out everything that you don't. It's a great place for picky eaters. Portion sizes are quite large. The burritos are not as long as a Sevi's burrito, but they're definitely packed more densely. In terms of filling alone, Qdoba dwarfs even a Sevi's supreme. Qdoba's interior is far nicer than any fast food restaurant should ever aspire to have. It's slick, modern, and very very clean. It feels weird to celebrate the appearance of a chain restaurant, but really, Qdoba's got it going on. If you're looking for something other than Tex-Mex (or worse, Taco Bell *shudders*), give Qdoba a try! read more

I was looking forward to trying Qdoba after a raving recommendation from a friend. Well, maybe I expected too much. The food was good. I had a chicken burrito bowl. I had been told the flavors were much better than Chipotle. I think the chicken had less flavor and the cilantro lime rice wasn't nearly as good as Chipotle. Also, Qdoba's portions seem to be significantly smaller than Chipotle. They even charge the grilled veggies! Perhaps if I had never been to a Chipotle, Qdoba would be a bigger hit with me. But, knowing Chipotle, Qdoba doesn't measure up so they only get 3 stars. That having been said, at least there is a Qdoba in WF. For that I am grateful being that I live in the TX panhandle where there aren't many options outside of steak places. read more
