And signage shows that this has been a beloved place for many years. I got the double meat cheeseburger and because I couldn't decide, I got a half basket of onion rings, which was 3 onion rings, and a half basket of French fries, also a root beer. I was the first person there when they opened. But within a couple of minutes, there were 2 others that from their conversation had been going there since the beginning of time. LOL. The cheeseburger was good, a little dry, but tasty. The onion rings were great. The fries were a little burnt unfortunately. The service was quite good. I'm glad I stopped just to hear about the history of the place from the 2 old-timers who were eating next to me.
