Steak Fajita Quesadilla
Alex C.

I had never heard of the Qdoba chain before this visit. But we happened to be nearby and decided to stop by for a quick grab-n-go order. Our orders wound up taking a bit longer than expected, but the people behind the counter were extremely kind and apologetic. When one of the workers overheard my pregnant wife start to grumble about the wait, they very thoughtfully offered her a free cup to get a drink. I opted for the Steak Fajita Quesadilla combo, and really enjoyed the delicious quesadilla! The ingredients were fresh and well stuffed, including a generous amount of guacamole, and the portion size was definitely large. Overall a really great value for our money, and we won't hesitate to come again the next time we find ourselves in the neighborhood!

Burrito bowl with grilled steak, pinto beans, pickled red onions, tortilla strips, fresh cilantro, shredded cheese, and guac
Alex M.

I stumbled upon Qdoba's new location at Ygnacio Valley Plaza while running some errands and decided to give it a try. I've seen Qdoba in airports around the country, but I don't think I've seen one in the Bay Area until now. Going along with the "build-it-as-you-like" concept, I ordered a bowl with a base of cilantro rice and grilled steak, and I went crazy with the toppings. I got shredded cheese, pinto beans, guac, pico de gallo, pickled red onions, fresh cilantro, and tortilla strips. The best part is that the toppings (including guac) are included in the price of the meal. The burrito bowl was delicious and filling - my favorite part was the topping of tangy, pickled red onions. Plus, there was a generous serving of steak and guac in my bowl. I will definitely be back to order another burrito bowl soon!

Was Supposed to Be a Steak Burrito but all I got was Beans Rice Guacamole and the rest of What I picked

Thanks to T-Mobile Tuesdays I was Finally able to try this Place. I'm over Chipotle not giving Enough meat in their servings and having to pay for Guacamole on an Already expensive burrito The Good - Allows For Various Toppings Good Queso . The Bad- Didn't Have Freshness to it Not enough Meat Average Service not even a Thank You Burrito Seemed Kind of Cold Location isn't ideal because of Parking but inside seems pretty Cool Verdict: I will give it one more Shot and Try a Burrito Bowl hopefully I can get more Meat. Mexican Grill such as this and Chipotle love to get you to pay for Extra meat but it's really not extra. I'm hoping I'm Wowed the Second Time around

a bowl of rice and vegetables

I'm not going to compare this to Chipotle because that would be a mistake. I will say however that if you want some quick Mexican food that taste reasonably great definitely go here. we had the queso dip which was actually really good. However, the chips were very salty. Additionally, I got the chicken bowl and they really pilot on with vegetables and lots of rice with a minimum amount of chicken.

I am happy to see the manager Ron took action to replace the dangerous metal chairs with safer new ones ! Good job !!

Veggie bowl

Made an online order, food was ready on time, and staff is attentive and friendly. A vegetarian bowl is $9.95 which is a good deal, plenty of food. For the queso lovers they have 2 kinds (regular and spicy). I don't eat chipotle so I can't compare, but I thought everything was fresh and good. I liked the pickled onions and jalapeños to top it off. I would have loved some more lettuce and cilantro, but that's just a personal preference. The salsas aren't my favorite, but overall no real complaints. If I was nearby and hungry I would come back.

We walked in and stood right behind the person being served at the register. At the time, there weren't anyone else in line. After several minutes, there were others and they went to the other side of the counter (which is supposedly the right side) and those people were served first while we were literally staring the server in their eyes. Next, my 7 yo asked for a cup for water, they proceeded to the drinks fountain and inadvertently selected some clear liquid, supposedly soda. My daughter does not know how to drink soda mind you. From the counter, the server called out my daughter saying loudly those cups are for water. She just barely put the drink down on the table and hasn't even had a chance to realize she pour the wrong drink. This experience has traumatized them being called out in public like they were thieves. We ordered several items but we did not have the stomach to eat the food anymore. We just took our food Togo since we already paid for it. I will not make any comments about the food because the service is really important and they failed miserably!

I got there early so just found a spot to just post and sit and scroll. When my pick up time window was near, I went to the pick up area, had some water, and looked if my name was on a bag but didn't see it when it was 2 minutes after my pick up time an employee asked me if I needed assistance. I mentioned I have a pick up order I did online, she looked then looked at the screen after grabbing things setting them in the bag she handed me my order. I noticed later I received a text 3 minutes after my pickup time. They are usually always busy and they have more seats upstairs where the restrooms are. There are street parking if you're lucky or the parking garage I mentioned where the first hour is free. I remember the Sacramento location's fries were still so good when we brought it home from a long drive but the Walnut Creek location didn't give me that feel in taste. I did still enjoy every bit of it as I ate half and ate the leftovers the next day still delicious to eat. Hopefully shake shack comes closer to me soon

I ordered at a kiosk, grabbed a water cup, waited 10 minutes including 5 watching my order sit at the counter. Got fed up just went and grabbed it (no one bothered to yell out my number). Sandwich was super crispy which I liked. Pickled are very solid. Sauce lacked any real flavor, bread is solid. Overall it's a meh sandwich. The place itself feels like a prison more than a restaurant. I'd never want to eat here. Sandwich costs $11 which is far more than a CFA spicy and way less tasty. In the mood for delicious chicken? This was our first time visit here…read more My kids recommended Starbird Chicken for some ono fried chicken sandwiches. We ended up buying a variety of menu items to try tonight. The ordering is simple. Use a kiosk to enter your choices and pay by credit cards, Apple Pay or cash. A seasonal Japanese Bbq line up was featured today. We ordered the Japanese Bbq tender box, Tokyo sesame crunch salad, sides of French fries, 10 piece wings with half Parmesan and half Sweet Thai Chili. Sauces and salad dressing were ordered on the side. Sauces included the Star sauce (a secret recipe that is described as creamy, sweet and tangy, like a blend of mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar and spices), Honey Chipotle BBQ, Wasabi Aioli and Tokyo Sesame salad dressing (carrot ginger dressing). The chicken tenders are crunchy and lightly coated on the outside. The tenders are moist and delicious inside. The chicken wings are lightly coated and crispy! The Parmesan and Sweet Thai Chili seasoning are savory and flavorful. A winner combination. Service is fast and efficient here. Your order is made quickly. There are clean tables and chairs located inside and outside. Take out is available as well. All gender bathrooms are available inside the restaurant. Free parking out front of the restaurant.
