I was having a wonderful Qdoba experience from this girl with blue hair. She made me my favorite taco and did a wonderful job. Then the rude manager with black hair and glasses walks up and tells her never to make my favorite taco again and that it was wrong of her to make it for me in the first place. Then the manager charged me extra and told me she didn't even know how to put it in her computer. I will not be coming back unfortunately I will have to find a Qdoba somewhere with a more competent manager. read more

Food is typical and cleanliness satisfactory. Not as updated as others I've been to. When I ordered a menu burrito bowl and asked to add fajita veggies and guacamole, the staff said I couldn't do that, because it was not part of the "surf and turf" recipe. Really? No, that's a "make your own" bowl. Whatever. Clearly I was violating somebody's rules, and the fact I was the customer was not of prime concern. I finally asked "what I was allowed to have in my bowl?" 3 stars is generous - they just need to be more flexible. read more

Imagine going to Chipotle and moving through the line, then run that scene at half speed. Now imagine Chipotle and how clean and orderly the staff and kitchen area are and divide that by two. Also had a fly cruising around the dipping salsas. Now you have a QDoba. Or at least this one. My husband and I used to frequent this Qdoba's when I worked nearby. The gentleman in the morning has awesome customer service skills, but there is a gal that works there who is insanely rude and off-putting. I hope that girl finds a different job soon, as I can see how she can ruin an entire dining experience. But the food is always fresh and hot and delicious! My friends and I decided to take different route for getting food at Qdoba. Instead of going to the location and ordering, we used the online ordering service and set a time for pickup. We selected our options online, made them very specific, paid online, and showed up at the location 15 minutes later. When we arrived, the employees seemed to be confused about the online order pickup -- it looked as if they had never done it before -- but our orders were ready and on the counter for us. They asked us if we were the three people who ordered online. We said yes and checked on our food to see if they did it right. All three orders were correct and were still piping hot -- even the highly complicated Mexican Gumbo order my friend created. We were given a free bag of chips "for the hassle" they said, but there was almost no hassle at all. We were supremely happy to see how well the employees handled our food with only 15 minutes to prepare all three orders. read more

I like Qdoba's food slightly more than Chipotle, especially because of the "Choose 2" option they recently implemented. I either stop here or Jimmy John's whenever I'm in Muncie and want a quick, reasonably healthy bite to eat. But the last time we were there (a rainy Saturday night) the employees were all really frazzled. We got hustled through the line by the guy who steams the tortillas and asks you what you want. He kept interrupting us as if that was somehow going to make us get out of his face quicker: Him: What can I get for you? Me: I'll take the Choose 2 with-- Him: What two items do you want? Me: Um, I'll take the two tac-- Him: Crunchy or soft? Me: Soft, and-- Him: And your other item? Me: I'll take the tortilla sou-- Him: What do you want on your tacos? The other employees were all groaning about how busy it was, saying things like "It never ends, does it?" to each other. Um, I work in a restaurant, I know what it's like to be busy, but (a) I don't discuss it within our customers' earshot and (b) IT WASN'T THAT BUSY. There were maybe six or seven tables and no line whatsoever. Anyway, I'll be back, but maybe not on a Saturday night. Wouldn't want to add to the perceived insanity. read more

Great customer service here. Qdoba is Qdoba. The meat is cooked freshly... The toppings are generally solid, but the tortillas are sort of so so. I'm a fan of the breakfast burritos here. You'll get some fresh eggs, potatoes, meat, and hot sauce (and "queso" if you want it--i get regular cheese). It's a solid breakfast when you have some studying to do. read more

I just left this Qdoba in Muncie, and it was great! I eat Qdoba all of the time, but this is the best service I've ever had. Every single worker in there was nice and bubbly. Great selection and endless options for burritos. You can also order tacos or salad versions without the tortilla if you so choose. The staff and management are among the very best I've encountered, including many higher end dining establishments. They are always friendly, smiling and seem happy and content. It's nice to eat somewhere where you feel the employees are treated well. Most burritos are around $5 but they are huge Chipotle-style beasts that will fill you up. All in all I can't find anything wrong with Qdoba aside from the location. I realize there aren't tons of options in Muncie and this is certainly convenient, but I wish it's outdoor seating overlooked anything but McGalliard and the parking area. Having said that, it's nice that they even offer outside seating. read more

This restaurant has a new General Manager that is rude and has no intention of listening to his customers. I have been going here since it opened. Today I ordered my usual Burrito that is usually nigger than my fist. Today they barely put rice or meat in it. Then when they were ready to fold it the tortilla split and they got another tortilla and scrapped 3/4 of the contents into the new tortilla and served it. When I said something to the Manager he informed me that he was the new GM and he started following portions. What I got was not worth the price. Told him I would not be back and he said that was my choice. read more

We generally like qdoba and eat at the one in Fort Wayne frequently. We were in Muncie for the day and ate here for dinner. It was awful! We were the only customers in at the time and the girl making our food was very rude, she could have at least greeted us or smiled! its not like it was busy. I ordered hard shell tacos and she put one piece of Chicken in the tacos. My husband was equally disappointed with his dinner. We will not be eating at this location again. read more

I generally have great service here, but went on a Sunday afternoon for the first time and had terrible service. No one wanted to take our order and when they did they took forever. It seemed like we were annoying them by trying to get food. There were 4 people working, one person made out food, as we stood there waiting to pay the other 3 employees stood there staring at us. Most times when I go in someone takes our order, makes the food and another takes our payment. I then get out of there quickly and the line moves smoothly. I was not please with the service by this crew. I guess I will stick to coming in during the week. read more

I literally eat lunch at Qdoba all over the place, big fan. (Anderson, Fishers, Nobelsville, etc.) This particular Qdoba is by far the worst managed Qdoba of the bunch. I order the exact same thing every time I am at any location. (Chicken Protein bowl) and I always substitute pinto beans for black beans, this is only location that ever charges for that swap. I finally had one of those days and decided to speak to the manager. He totally decided to hide behind a corporate policy statement and said he has no power to make a substitute like that. He decided to add at the end of the conversation that he was "just doing his job" and the problem is with other locations, "they are one's breaking company policy". Either that is true and he needs to be empowered or he is just a weak manager. I told him I understood that he did not care about one customer complaining and left. What I did not disclose is that I manage one of the largest groups in Delaware county and I just had my admin pull P/L for 2020 and we spent over 4k last year with Qdoba Muncie location. I just advised her Muncie Qdoba off the list now for recognition lunches. read more
