    Frozen Margarita

I've been coming to La Hacienda since I was in college. Not much has changed over the years although they no longer accept checks. Their sauce for dipping is amazing. The red sauce is spicy and perfect on fresh chips that are crispy and delicate. No thick hard to chew chips here. I always get the La Hacienda plate. A taco, enchilada and burrito with rice and beans, I can never finish it all but get lots of different flavors and textures. And I can take some home for lunch the next day. A staple in the community where most don't need a menu. A pitcher of frozen margaritas also makes it a must!

Gross, Cheddar Burrito ($12!!)- Look at the scoops of rice and beans- you can see the scoop like a high school cafeteria!

I was trying to find an alternative to Puerto Vallarta-- boy, what a GIANT MISTAKE! I can usually find something nice to say about a place, but the only nice thing I have to say is to the fellow Yelpers!- AVOID LA HACIENDA! The food was horrible- not even close to 'authentic' Mexican food. The beans are straight out of a can, the rice is mushy and similar to microwave rice found in an Enchilada TV dinner. They do not use the correct kind of cheese- they use Cheddar, which causes an oily build-up on the food when heated. The restaurant itself is scary- no really, I did not feel safe there and I did not feel safe parking my car in their tiny lot. The clientele were mostly bikers. The only way this place can stay in business is because they serve alcohol and maybe, just maybe people are too drunk to know what they are eating. I 100% am not being too harsh or hypercritical. If you have some morbid curiosity, then go and waste $30 (yes 2 dinners came to a whopping $30!!)- but if you disagree with what I am writing then please write another review. Bottom Line: Overpriced Garbage! Honestly, Taco Bell would have tasted better than what we got at La Hacienda.

    Beef Empanada....my favorite since 1980

Terrible service, I tried to place a takeout order and they just hung up on me! I'm sure they did it because they realized I'm Hispanic.

La Hacienda hands down has the best Mexican food anywhere. Been there forever & it's a well-oiled machine. It's not fancy but clean & good.

Live reaction: just got here and ordered a jumbo frozen raspberry margarita. They just so happened…read moreto have a special today for the house jumbo margs! $8.50 on a Thursday! What a coincidence! I'm waiting for my food now (Thai chili boneless wings w blue cheese). OMG HERE COMES THE SPICY CHEESE CURDS!!! they smell so good! My bf just moaned taking a bite. Now my turn! Mmmmm wow. Very very good. Now the food just came!! Wings are yummy, they didn't forget the blue cheese or nothing which a lot of places dooo! My bf got the house pizza and it looks good affff. "Despite not being a pizza place, the pizza is bussin" is what he said. Now imma take a bite! Wow it was really good. Maybe not the best for people who love thin crispy pizza but ooey gooey pizza which I happen to love so much!! Now back to the marg. I'm drunk and have had half of a jumbo. It's strong but it's so delicious at the same time! I did have a daily frozen marg on the way walking over (5% alcohol) but damn! Wow we will definitely be coming back. Don't think of it as a Mexican restaurant and you will have a much better experience. Think of white people making bussin margs in mason jars because that's what it is. Bill was around $70 after the tip in total. $35 for a great time. Overall great and amazing. Wow!

A place named margaritas to go, with a full pizza menu and wings as the featured item? Confusing…read more But ok. Got the street burrito. Dry as the drywall laying all over the place. Pretty flavorless. A white burrito served on a white plate with no sides, veg or garnish. The lady got the wings. Definitely store bought nuggets with hilariously plain sauce. Those two things and a coke cost me 20 bucks ish. So not terrible. But I won't be coming back. Plain food. Booths that have the name of another Mexican restaurant on them. Our server was on his phone most of our meal. The other server was checking herself in her phone most of the time. A solid "no thanks".
