Haven't stopped at this Qdoba in a long time. Thought I would grab a quick dinner here tonight. The restaurant is located in a busy part of the Southport retail district. It is at the end of a strip mall and is pretty easy to get in and out of things to a stoplight. The restaurant has been there for a while, but it has been updated in the past few years, it seems, it's pretty clean inside and nice and open and bright. The food is like all Qdoba, a line to walk down and essentially have them make you exactly exactly what you want. Quesadillas, tacos, bowls, burritos. They also offer a number of options of meat, pork, chicken, beef, or grilled vegetables. They have chips and salsa and queso as well. And of course, drinks in bottles and also fountain drinks. The people behind the counter were friendly, especially the gentleman that checked me out, he was very nice and polite and made sure everything was right before he handed it across the counter to me. The one taking my order his and asked questions he needed to, nothing more, but was very polite in how he asked. There were a few other people working at the time that kind of went on with their business while the gentleman making my order worked around them. The food I got was a quesadilla with chicken, I added, queso, pico, shredded cheese, and of course, chicken. In addition, I got lettuce and sour cream on the side. It's been a few years since I've been to QDOBA. Not sure why, I do enjoy the food but I always seem to choose something else instead. My go-to order is the vegetarian loaded tortilla soup. I love how customizable their menu is and I added cilantro lime rice, black and pinto beans, pickled jalapeños, habanero salsa and tortilla strips. Maybe it's because it's been awhile since I've gone or maybe it's because it was my first time getting it to-go but the proportions were off. It was not very soup-y, it was more like eating soup flavored rice and beans. I did receive food that was not part of my order and fountain coke instead of a bottle of Mexican Coke. I understand that most restaurants are opening with limited or altered menus so I get it. Otherwise everything delivery-wise was perfect. It was also too much for me to eat. Went to the one on South Emerson and Southport rd earlier today. My son orders a steak bowl no rice, no beans, ask for queso in the bottom of the bowl. This employee (who claims to be a manager) gets visibly irritated and starts rudely saying this isn't a steak bowl is a nacho bowl. I say well this is how we order it all of the time here. She gets more irritated saying that she's been there for however long and it's not called a steak bowl. I say whatever ok. she starts saying that she doesn't have to serve us. I said ok. She says that I'm being rude which I'm not and wasn't at all. I says I just want my food and you just keep going on about a steak vs nacho bowl. She got mad told us to leave, when I was leaving I asked for her name and says that she doesn't have to give me her name I went to pull my phone out and she threatened to call the police. This manager was clearly having a bad day before we got there. Went to another Qdoba and told them about the experience. They say yup I know who you are talking about immediately. She gets complaints a lot. I'm thinking that she needs to get out of customer service if she's gonna have a terrible attitude. read more

This is one of the cleaner Qdobas I've been to. The staff is always friendly and the service is fast. I've never had an issue here. The restaurant ant is always clean when I go which is usually around 6 PM during the week. We always get great food piled high with their enormous selection of toppings. Plus this restaurant has fresh cut lemons and limes which I don't see in all of them. So that's a plus in my book. We've gotten everything from burritos to loaded nachos and never had an issue. I know, I know, "Chipotle is better for you" insert Sponge Bob meme here. But they don't have anything on the topping selection of QDOBA. read more

This place is a bit of a mess. They were out of onions, out of ice, and out of a lot of the flavors on the Coke Freestyle machine. I'm not sure how a business can be completely out of ice in a bustling area, literal steps from a gas station. We ended up dumping out our flat drinks halfway through our meal and finishing the meal in our car because I was so uncomfortable and unhappy with our experience and felt like we had wasted our money. Good place for a quick breakfast when you want something a little different. You can get either a quesadilla or burrito for breakfast. I got the quesadilla with eggs and potatoes. I had them pile on some extras (pico de gallo, salsa, onions, cilantro, etc) and then they heat the whole thing up. Is a little (maybe a lot) messy to eat, so be sure to grab a fork. read more

Disaster. Not only was it a Friday night but a holiday. It literally took me 40 minutes just to get my food. The line moved so slow and they were so inundated with online orders and door dashers that us folks physically waiting had to wait forever. They were out of tortilla soup and the cashier moved like molasses. Seriously if you're that busy have the paper bags for chips open and ready or have them already packed. He struggled opening a bag, and left them open after putting chips in meaning they'd get cold. Cashier also wasn't wearing gloves. He messed up two orders in front of me. It took so long from the time they made my food to pay that by the time I got home, my food was cold.... and I live 5 minutes away! Very disappointed. Next time I'll just go to the East street store because this one is a disaster. Update: ordered from here on door dash because it was freezing out abs I have a newborn. Of course they screwed up my order. The ticket attached even said cauliflower mash instead of rice. They used rice which is no good since I'm keto plus they charge an extra $2.50 for cauliflower which I didn't get. Seriously how hard can this be? Door dash also failed because they dropped it off at the wrong house when the address was correct. I kept texting the driver to please come back and correct it, which took 20 minutes. My food was cold by the time I got it. I called door dash and all they could offer was a refund. Seriously just do it right ppl. I ordered delivery for a reason and I don't feel comfortable sneaking around someone's porch late at night. A burrito bowl is not worth getting shot over. i love qdoba but this location needs improvement. the people that work during lunch hours are not very nice, i am not greeted coming in, when i get in line they give me the feeling me ordering is a chore for them. they're always out of something, whether that be drink syrup, straws, ice or ingredients. when i order often times they don't pay attention so i have to repeat myself multiple times. no one likes going in somewhere and feeling unwelcome, and that's how it feels going in this location. i understand working in the service industry sucks, but you should at least be cordial with people. read more

The review for his Qdoba location is long due. I love Qdoba but this Qdoba location probably is the worst in the whole United States. I had been here numerous times and they consistently try hard to disappoint me every time. This last time I went , i almost threw up and finally decided on taking time to write the review Here are just a few things they have been consistently doing. - Throwing food all over the counter - putting back the food in the bowl even when it falls on the counter - coughing in the food - the food trays are almost empty most of the times - Food is just left open all the time and there is stuff flying over it from the kitchen - dirty floors - dirty tables - no respect for people waiting in line - they just leave the food being served until the next person picks it up to pack..god knows when Stay off this place unless u wanna get sick. read more

A nice change of pace.. but I need some help eating the entire burrito!! The long lost Qdoba.. It had been a few years since I'd had qdoba, then I had a craving and Qdoba fit the bill. The line moved slow.. but steady. I got a chicken burrito.. quesofied topped with rice, black beans, hot salsa, cheese and some other fixin's. The thing was a monster.. Once I got it home, I saw how big it was and realized there was NO WAY in Yelp's earth that I could eat it all. I made my way through as much as I could then finally through in the white towel. The food was made with what seemed like quality ingredients and the service was adequate but a bit slow this past time. (My second visit in the past coupe weeks was much quicker) Their cookies.. are GOOD and just a $1 (not a bad price for a chain) and they were fresh. Side note- they have VANILLA COKE. I haven't had this in year.. but it was a nice change of pace. Overall, a good experience and a nice change from the normal sandwich for me. read more

Probably the worst location I've ever been to. Your much better off spending your money at a local Mexican restaurant than this. I frequent Qdoba restaurants all the time and I've been to this location three times in two weeks. Every time I've been there it's been sub-par service and Luke warm food. Qdoba is one of the only fast food places I can eat at and trust me I know a good nacho bowl. What's even more ridiculous is that today I was charged $2 for rice. RICE. This has never happened to me before at any other Qdoba location. Not only that but I felt like they were annoyed with any request I made. I have anxiety and have a hard time sticking up for myself when it comes to ordering. I will not ever be purchasing from this location again. I'm one to assume people are just having a bad day, but the store was practically empty there was no rush orders etc I was very polite myself I was just kinda hurt and felt disrespected even though I shouldn't take things so personally I was just trying to relax on my lunch break. Another thing I've noticed about this location, their rice is always undercooked, every time I went it wasn't fully cooked. Never gave me the normal amount of queso scoops for my bowl.
