Plus, our waitress was very pleasant and was super sweet to our son. I can't speak to how the restaurant compares under new ownership but we left as fans and plan to come back.

It is an open concept eatery with indoor and outdoor eating space. We ordered with the cashier but you can also order online or at the kiosk in store. I ordered 1 chicken tinga street taco and 1 regular chicken street taco. My cousin ordered 3 steak street tacos. We added the sauces of our choice from the sauce bar. The tacos were so flavorful. I preferred the regular chicken taco than the chicken tinga. We went again 2 days later and we ordered the tostada, the gym burrito and a chicken torta. My cousin said the bread was a a little hard for his liking, but the flavor was well. My other cousin really enjoyed the gym burrito and i enjoyed the tostada. The tostada is quite messy so i probably wouldn't get that again. However, this place does not disappoint and was a great find. I would visit it again and again and again.

I was so excited to try this privately owned restaurant and was extremely disappointed by the time…read morewe left. The complimentary chips and salsa were actually the best part. We ordered the Drunken Flamed Fajitas ($36) which sounded like a dream on paper, including onions, peppers, rice, beans, pico and sour cream (only came with 3 tortillas). Everything looked good but it was sooooo spicy. We requested it without jalapeños and it was still spicy, all of it! The steak was extremely chewy and the chicken was burnt, dry and hard. The worst part about our experience was the extra charges. Without telling us, they charged an additional $6 for us and another $6 for my parents who asked for additional tortillas with their fajitas. For $36, you'd think this should come with more than 3 tortillas. The $6 "plate" included 3 tortillas and a very tiny amount of rice and beans and sour cream, which I didn't really want. When we asked the manager about the charge that was never communicated, she looked at the table and said "since you ate majority of the side plate, we need to charge you for it". $42 for Fajitas? I feel like the manager was arguing with us at the table, so unprofessional. We will not be back.

We came in with a larger group recently, which gave us a chance to sample a little bit of everything. Across the board, the food was excellent--the quesadillas, chicken tortilla soup, fajitas, and tacos were all hits. And, of course, you can't go wrong with their margaritas! The only real downside lately has been the table service, which has felt a bit lacking. If you want the best experience, my pro-tip is to skip the dining room tables and sit at the bar. The service there is consistently fantastic, attentive, and fast. Overall, it's still a favorite go-to spot for Mexican food, just choose your seating wisely!
