This is a nice taco place. They didn't have any fresh drinks at the time I went but the food was amazing and fresh. They serve the platter in a pizza style box which is a cute play on making it an original experience . No one was there so our order was taken quickly and with no issues. read more

Really good authentic street tacos. We enjoyed the chicken tacos with fresh cilantro, limes and chopped onions. The lunch special comes with chips and salsa and a drink and four tacos served on fresh corn tortillas. I enjoyed our meal, but would have liked cheese, lettuce or guacamole to go with the tacos. I'll ask next time if I can add that to the tacos. I didn't love the salsa so I probably would just get the tacos separately and not the special, but I definitely want to try more tacos. The birria tacos are their most popular and they looked great. I will update my review after we try those next time. Definitely try this spot for fresh Mexican food. read more

I've passed by this place a few times and decided to give them a try ! I'm so happy I did! There place is very clean, service is great and fast, and prices are pretty good. They have a special right now for QuesaBirria tacos (4) with consume and a drink for $12.97. I got that as my order. It came with two different salsas and some lime. My tacos were pretty tasty and hot. Tasted very fresh but I wish there was a little bit more of a crisp on the outer portion of the taco shell. Nonetheless, I'd order them again for sure. They also have a special on their taco pizza boxes that are 20% off every Tuesday. There's a few more items on their menu but not a whole lot at this time. Still enough to satisfy most. TL;DR Decent, fast Mexican food served in pizza containers. Not gonna lie. I wasn't getting the whole pizza vibe when I walked in and saw the menu split up in weird pizza-themed stuff like the Taco Pizza or the PizzaDilla. Once you have a good look at it, you'll see it kind of makes sense. Most things are served in pizza boxes arranged in pie shapes. A taco pizza is basically a tacos arranged in a circle, same with the tortas, and the quesadilla. I think they break from this form on the burrito though. :) The food is pretty good but not my favorite. However, I see this being a rotational spot for a quick pick-up on the way home. The way they do stuff -- curbside, delivery, dining -- makes it convenient. I had a lunch special pizzadilla which was enormous and filling. The chips and salsa -- meh. Chips are basically out of a bag and salsa seemed canned/jarred rather than fresh. Truth is, I don't hate any chips and salsa though. Pizzadilla was a bit too salty and the nachos a bit too bland. One thing about me is that I love tacos. And I love birria even more!! The quesatacos and birria aren't on the big menu they have posted, but there is a little sign that shows they have them. With tax, the (3) tacos, birria, and drink were $13. Facility is clean and their health score is a 97. Staff was nice and helpful. There was a family ahead of me and 1 person and I waited quite a bit. Probably about 15 minutes. I was ok with that though because everything is made fresh and I can definitely appreciate that! Just be prepared to wait! I thought the food was delicious and extremely filling! My tacos had plenty of meat and the meat was soooo tender. I wish they offered a chicken version. I work across the street at the walmart, and came to taco nest on my lunch break. The restaurant was clean upon arrival, and was greeted immediately. I explained to the server I was vegetarian and I had never eaten here before and he recommended me to try the "No meat Taco." It by far was the best taco i've had in some time, very flavorful and authentic. read more

Average tacos, above average burritos. That pretty much sums up my experience. It's interesting that they're focusing on the "pizza" shaped items. The taco pizza is just a bunch of tacos arranged in a circle, the tortipizza is just a big round torta cut into slices, the pizzadilla is a round quesadilla. These are all built for multiple people, which is cool, but they're lacking options for single customers. What I'd love to see is more customization on the tacos. They're traditional Mexican tacos (onions and cilantro), and an array of meats to choose from. I'd love to have cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, guacamole, and different salsas/sauces to choose from customize. Also there's no tortilla chips and queso! That would really compel me to come back on a more regular basis. Came for the quesabirria tacos and left content! These were the Best Birria tacos I've ever tried! We took our order to go, and was helped by the lovely lady at the counter. She recommended the quesabirria combo, which is one of their most popular items. Visited Taco Nest for the first time this week, didn't know what to expect, I wasn't sure if it was a sit down restaurant or fast food Mexican. It is definitely a Mexican fast food, but the food was prepared and tasted as good as many sit down Mexican restaurants that I've visited. Amazing tacos! All of the ingredients are extremely fresh and the tacos are made to order. The sauces are really good and complementary to the types of tacos that are served. I would definitely give this place a 10 out of 10! Staff is very friendly and polite. The ambiance is ok. Great food and really nice workers! Sadly the tables are sticky and the water we got from their machine had stuff floating inside. Their prices have also been steadily increasing to where I'm no longer thinking it's worth getting food here! If you have extra money I definitely recommend eating here the food truly is good; but the price has began to hit a point that I can't quite say it's worth coming back in the future on our end. 4-5 months ago you could get a burrito for 9$ and a regular size pizzadilla for 7.99 now they go for 10.99 and burritos 12.99 while a few dollars might not seem like much but when everywhere prices start increasing it adds up and makes it difficult to come as often if at all when other places offer similar foods for cheaper prices. read more

I love their tacos. Fresh lime slices and cilantro for crisp fresh flavor. I love the authentic taste here. No dairy is a relief.. My favorite is chicken with flour tortillas. Enough meat for a filling meal. Simple and delicious. Just right for me. A baby boomer budget in a friendly clean and fast easy to find corner spot restaurant across from Walmart on hwy 9 near car wash. My favorite Mexican restaurant here. Great people. read more

AMAZING! Went here for lunch, and got the shredded chicken PizzaDilla. And one of the best ones I've ever had! I am super picky about authentic food. But this place is great! Been open for maybe a month, sucks Covid19 keeping them slow. They offer 20% for essential workers through the month of April (2020) . Sooo go get you some tacos!! read more

Amazing, authentic street tacos with fresh cilantro and onions. Very friendly counter service. We tried the steak, chicken, and al pastor on both corn and flour tortillas. The chicken was delicious and tender with great flavor, and the steak had a fresh grilled taste. The al pastor was a favorite--intensely flavorful and paired great with both green and red homemade salsa. The lime slices brought out even more flavor and heat with the salsa. I am a taco nut, and this is my new favorite local place for tacos. Very reasonably priced and it's dine-in or carry-out. I like the clever touch of serving the tacos in a pizza box. Got take out from here last Friday and it was delicious! We did their version of a family meal. It included street tacos, quesadilla and burrito. Carne asada, pollo and carnita fillings were all on point. They are family owned and opened the middle of March. Fantastic entrant into the fast casual dining (authentic Mexican) of Alpharetta. When we asked the manager about the charge that was never communicated, she looked at the table and said "since you ate majority of the side plate, we need to charge you for it". $42 for Fajitas? I feel like the manager was arguing with us at the table, so unprofessional. We will not be back.

The service is great, food comes out quick, the drinks are fun, and the food is pretty good. We've had girls night and family nights here before and always enjoy our experience. Last time we dropped in, I had the chimi-rica, my aunts got the veggie fajitas, uncles got some tacos, and my dad got their chicken. We all enjoyed our dishes!

We were quickly seated and overall service was very friendly and accommodating. My margarita was very fresh tasting and the spicy salt rim was delicious. Next time, I will opt for the 16oz compared to the 12 Oz. Tne fresh juices were tasty as well as the flavor option such as tamarind. Chips were crisp and flaky. So much better than other similar places where the chips were inedible and so hard. We requested red salsa that was more like hot sauce. The salsa that accommodated the chips turned put to be salsa Verde and mayo, not our favorite. So when we were asked, we requested a salsa verde option which was the best choice overall. The $2+ cost for endless chips was worth it for me. Hubby requested the shrimp fajitas and I ordered the shrimp Mexicana platter. Good portion sizes even if flavors were not that complex. Homemade corn tortillas were very good. Overall, an enjoyable meal. Looking forward to our next visit!
