Our mix included barbacoa, fajita chicken, and steak. The box comes complete with onions and cilantro for topping. Really good authentic street tacos. We enjoyed the chicken tacos with fresh cilantro, limes and chopped onions. The lunch special comes with chips and salsa and a drink and four tacos served on fresh corn tortillas. I enjoyed our meal, but would have liked cheese, lettuce or guacamole to go with the tacos. I'll ask next time if I can add that to the tacos. I didn't love the salsa so I probably would just get the tacos separately and not the special, but I definitely want to try more tacos. I've passed by this place a few times and decided to give them a try ! I'm so happy I did! There place is very clean, service is great and fast, and prices are pretty good. They have a special right now for QuesaBirria tacos (4) with consume and a drink for $12.97. I got that as my order. It came with two different salsas and some lime. My tacos were pretty tasty and hot. Tasted very fresh but I wish there was a little bit more of a crisp on the outer portion of the taco shell. Nonetheless, I'd order them again for sure. They also have a special on their taco pizza boxes that are 20% off every Tuesday. There's a few more items on their menu but not a whole lot at this time. Still enough to satisfy most. TL;DR Decent, fast Mexican food served in pizza containers. Not gonna lie. I wasn't getting the whole pizza vibe when I walked in and saw the menu split up in weird pizza-themed stuff like the Taco Pizza or the PizzaDilla. Once you have a good look at it, you'll see it kind of makes sense. Most things are served in pizza boxes arranged in pie shapes. A taco pizza is basically a tacos arranged in a circle, same with the tortas, and the quesadilla. I think they break from this form on the burrito though. :) The food is pretty good but not my favorite. However, I see this being a rotational spot for a quick pick-up on the way home. The way they do stuff -- curbside, delivery, dining -- makes it convenient. I had a lunch special pizzadilla which was enormous and filling. The chips and salsa -- meh. Chips are basically out of a bag and salsa seemed canned/jarred rather than fresh. Truth is, I don't hate any chips and salsa though. Pizzadilla was a bit too salty and the nachos a bit too bland. One thing about me is that I love tacos. And I love birria even more!! The quesatacos and birria aren't on the big menu they have posted, but there is a little sign that shows they have them. With tax, the (3) tacos, birria, and drink were $13. Facility is clean and their health score is a 97. Staff was nice and helpful. There was a family ahead of me and 1 person and I waited quite a bit. Probably about 15 minutes. I was ok with that though because everything is made fresh and I can definitely appreciate that! Just be prepared to wait! I thought the food was delicious and extremely filling! My tacos had plenty of meat and the meat was soooo tender. I wish they offered a chicken version. I work across the street at the walmart, and came to taco nest on my lunch break. The restaurant was clean upon arrival, and was greeted immediately. I explained to the server I was vegetarian and I had never eaten here before and he recommended me to try the "No meat Taco." Average tacos, above average burritos. That pretty much sums up my experience. It's interesting that they're focusing on the "pizza" shaped items. The taco pizza is just a bunch of tacos arranged in a circle, the tortipizza is just a big round torta cut into slices, the pizzadilla is a round quesadilla. These are all built for multiple people, which is cool, but they're lacking options for single customers. What I'd love to see is more customization on the tacos. They're traditional Mexican tacos (onions and cilantro), and an array of meats to choose from. I'd love to have cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, guacamole, and different salsas/sauces to choose from customize. Also there's no tortilla chips and queso! That would really compel me to come back on a more regular basis. Their prices have also been steadily increasing to where I'm no longer thinking it's worth getting food here! The chicken was delicious and tender with great flavor, and the steak had a fresh grilled taste. The al pastor was a favorite--intensely flavorful and paired great with both green and red homemade salsa. The lime slices brought out even more flavor and heat with the salsa.
