The chicken breast was a little stringy, the bacon was not freshly made. The bun was soft and fresh, the guacamole was tasty. It also came with tater tots, which were perfectly cooked and served hot. My husband ordered the dirty South burger which consists of burnt ends, Mac bites, coleslaw, cheese, and bacon, bits. He said it was one of the best burger he has ever had. To complete the meal, we ordered a caramel cheesecake to share. It was very light and fluffy and very tasty. It could have used a little more caramel sauce. We were told that the owner makes them fresh daily.

Our waitress, kendri was extremely hospitable even providing constructive feedback when quizzed. Results: 1. The burger was a lifetime top 10 of all time! Prepared a perfect medium well while the onion rings, bacon, coleslaw, and finally american cheese blended deliciously. Additionally, the burnt ends was juicy, thick and firm which complemented the chuck blend. 2. The chicken was just average: salty and stringy indicating it may not have been fresh? However, for both selections the tater tots side selection were excellent : hot and cripy. For dessert, we shared a $12 slice of caramel cheesecake. - a signature item. Although it did not disappoint, beware its not considered NY Style (ultra thick and super creamy / sweet). I would apply the name "western style" as it was fluffy, light and airy.

Food was very good, generous, well priced, but unfortunately, the new hire didn't quite have it together yet. She was unfortunately all on her own for portion of our time there. And was very slow in responding. However, her happy demeanor, smile and apologies. Definitely made up for it. I'm sure what time her expertise will improve. BTW, fred, Cook needs to work on his onion rings, skill, they came out in one big clump.

There was 3 other tables - it was not busy. Took a minute for menus, ok, waiter was maybe busy? but not with other tables, she was not to be seen. I just really wanted a good burger... it was my 'birthday' lunch with family. We were finally able to ask about the special that FLASHES when you go online. $5 BURGERS, Friday and SATURDAY. Was informed that's only on Friday, she was told last night. Opened APP on phone while sitting right in the restaurant, there it was, $5 burgers, Friday and Saturday. She was going to check. She didn't come back, so we left. I was so curious about their extensive menu, and really wanted a burger that I've read about being fabulous in other reviews. I doubt we'll be back, VIP or not. So disappointed. (btw - there is no ambiance.)

I love good BBQ and smoke my own meat on occasion, so I was hoping to be bowled over. What a disappointment! They were out of the well-reviewed burnt tips, so I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my wife ordered the stuffed baked potato. The pork, on it's own, was tender but had absolutely no flavor! I kept wondering why and then it occurred to me: they don't use any wood! There was no smoky flavor whatsoever: no hickory, no applewood, no cherry wood or no mesquite. They simple slow roasted the meat. The only flavor came from the four BBQ sauces provided: a Carolina, Original, Hot Mamma and sweet Mama. They provided pickles and pickled onions which was a nice touch. That's not BBQ. My wife's potato was SWIMMING in a liquid. After some investigation, we realized that it was butter. It had the same bland pulled pork and a dollop of sour cream. She ate about a quarter of it and pushed it away. The coleslaw was limp with little crunch, had onions in it, but no mayo. The place was clean, the staff friendly. I appreciate the "Free Fry Fridays" which gave us free french fries that pretty good. Would I come back? Sadly, nope. I want a BBQ joint where you can see/smell the smoke coming out of the place and taste the smoke in the meat. That's what BBQ is all about.
