The service does what they can, but they seemed pretty understaffed. Drinks took a minute and the OJ came out warm, we werent able to get a refill on coffee. They dont have as many options on the menu as it seems and the green chili is not much to write home about. Their prices haven't changed and cent but you get what you pay for, the portions are on the smaller side. It was a pretty mediocre experience but I wouldn't see myself going back in the future

I kept wondering why and then it occurred to me: they don't use any wood! There was no smoky flavor whatsoever: no hickory, no applewood, no cherry wood or no mesquite. They simple slow roasted the meat. The only flavor came from the four BBQ sauces provided: a Carolina, Original, Hot Mamma and sweet Mama. They provided pickles and pickled onions which was a nice touch. That's not BBQ. My wife's potato was SWIMMING in a liquid. After some investigation, we realized that it was butter. It had the same bland pulled pork and a dollop of sour cream. She ate about a quarter of it and pushed it away. The coleslaw was limp with little crunch, had onions in it, but no mayo. The place was clean, the staff friendly. I appreciate the "Free Fry Fridays" which gave us free french fries that pretty good. Would I come back? Sadly, nope. I want a BBQ joint where you can see/smell the smoke coming out of the place and taste the smoke in the meat. That's what BBQ is all about.
