I love chips and dip so when I saw it was five dollars, I was a little surprised but decided to up to the "queso" too since it was only a dollar more. This was a good spot. They have alcohol on the menu but no prices ..prices range from 7 to 14 dollars. I got a lg mango margarita it wasn't strong at all. The food was good and so was the service. We had a mixup with our order but they fixed it up quick. The ambiance was Halloween mixed with Native American decor. It was great first experience I had in this restaurant. I'm from the Bay Area California we love going to Chevys celebrating our families birthday especially when the people working are singing happy birthday with the chevys hat which is free for the celebrant that's awesome ! This time it's my daughter's 25th birthday we celebrated here in Lindo Jalisco, the food was awesome and all the people working here are very nice and friendly! I like the way we were greeted with the smile ! Thank you! Keep it up ! We appreciate the happy birthday song and ice cream they served for my daughters birthday And also the sombrero was nice we thought it was free for the celebrant to keep as souvenir it would have been nice like the Chevys but that's okay their Sombrero was beautiful! Yumo. Stopped by in a whim after a hike looking for Mexican food. We were seated right away and had chips and salsa. We both ordered the grilled tacos. I had the birea, shrimp and carne asada. They came with rice and beans as well. Damn these were good. My plate was empty, my stomach was full and I finished every bite. I saw some other tables had pretty big yummy looking frozen margaritas. I'm going to have to come back to try those. This is a well kept secret! read more

The food is delicious and plentiful. The prices reasonable, except being from Texas , we are not used to paying for chips and salsa. However, the presentation of the salsa, chips and slaw was nice. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and cheerful. We have only one complaint. The dining area had one style of music playing while the kitchen area had a different style loudly playing. They were very conflicting. It really bothered my husband who is a professional musician. Either style would have been acceptable, but not both at the same time. read more

A friend in Texas told me I needed to try birria, so I asked my local Facebookers where to go. They unanimously suggested Lindo Jalisco which I had already been meaning to try. I ordered a dish called Quesa-Birria and WOW was it amazing! This is definitely the best Mexican food I have had in awhile. Yeah, there was a bit of communication trouble at the beginning as the lady who greeted me at the door did not speak English well, but that really does not bother me in a restaurant that serves Mexican or any other ethnic food. Besides, she managed to get me seated and figured out my drink and a minute later and the waitress arrived and spoke perfect English. Business picked up right after I got there but my food was served quickly and other wait staff were quick to make sure I had plenty of soda or anything else I needed when my waitress was busy elsewhere. It does not happen often with me, but I even had leftovers to take home. Not the fanciest restaurant I have ever seen, but it was clean and well maintained. I will definitely be going back as their menu had many interesting listings and I am already wanting more Quesa-Birria. read more

The food was probably the best Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico. It was extremely good. The servers were fair. They weren't exactly attentive, but they did enough. The main negative of the place was the presence of flies. They were a nuisance. If the restaurant could address that issue, it would be a truly amazing place to go. read more

Me and my friends were on a roadtrip and went through the town of Alamosa. It was pretty late. We showed up at this restaurant at 8:13 PM . They had closed at 8:00. Instead of rushing us out, they saw we were hungry. They sat us down and proceeded to serve us one of the best meals I have had in my 21 years of age. Kevin (our server) was unbelievably kind and welcoming, when he didn't have to be. I have had worse service in most high class restaurants I have been too. The food was super authentic and so tasty. Cannot recommend this place enough. A true hidden gem in the whole state of Colorado. I hope this place gets the attention it deserves!!! read more

Such a pleasant surprise. We stayed at the Cool Sunshine RV Park and walked to Lindo Jalisco. The entrance is off the parking lot and not facing the street (somewhat hidden) but, once we opened the door, the restaurant was packed and such a pleasant environment. The staff was exceptionally efficient and pleasant. We enjoyed our meal and the Coronorita's were great. The food was all good but the service made the experience a shining star. read more

The host opened the door before we got the chance to which was kind of aggressive, he then asked how many, when we replied 4 he sighed and then said be was tired. One of us ordered a burger and it was all onions. The tortillas were over and under cooked at the same time. We got a raw piece of meat in the underwhelming green chili sauce. They charge $5 for chips and salsa(the ONLY Mexican restaurant that does this!) their salsa isn't even spicy at all either. We were at Lindo Jalisco in Alamosa on Saturday, June 10th. After placing our order, my husband asked the waiter if they had ostiones. He said he would check and let us know. He left and never came back. Another worker came by so my husband asked her if they had ostiones. She reluctantly took her earbud out and said, "Huh?" After repeating the question 3 times, she said she would go check and let us know. She never came back. When our food came out, it was served with NO SALSA and NO LIMES!!--unheard of and totally unacceptable for a Mexican restaurant. We asked for limes, but they never brought them! The steak, shrimp, and tilapia were not bad, but would have been better with lime and salsa! Terrible service, food was ok. Comimos en Lindo Jalisco el sábado, 10 de junio. Wonderul service , loud but friendly ambiance (who doesn't love that am I right?!) My beautiful wife order the taco salad, it came in a wonderful deep fried tortilla bowl! Lindo Jalisco was recommended by our Air B&B host and it did not disappoint. This is one of those places that prove you cannot judge by appearances. The front of the building is unappealing with litter strewn in the grass. But, there's an unassuming door out back in a tidy parking lot that leads to a clean, bright and spacious dining area. We were cheerfully greeted by a hostess, the first of several warm and welcoming people who constantly doted over us. Our waiter gladly answered our questions about food items we weren't familiar with. And, when the food arrived, it was delicious! The chef even came around at one point to all the tables inquiring if everything was ok and if we needed anything. This place truly works hard to satisfy the customer and they succeed. I would happily go back and have no reservations about recommending this gem of a restaurant. read more

I ordered a taco al a carte to try that first, and it was great, so I ordered two more with a side of beans. Tacos were great but beans were cold. Waitstaff was attentive so I still left a good tip!
