Me and my friends went here and the food was absolutely fantastic although the beans were kinda bad the food overall was good, The Service was also amazing I have never seen a person that nice in a long time, the atmosphere of it was amazing they had a big space so you wouldn't get to tight inside of it. read more

Shrimp ceviche tostada! Piled high. Locals place to get some awesome food. Brief menu of great selections. Fresh. Fast. Flavorful, affordable. Blink and you'll pass it going through town. Look left while traveling east. Looks industrial on the outside, but it's very clean and comfortable seating area inside. Some outdoor seating too. Notes: Menudo on the weekend. Delish! I had the carnitas tacos and my husband had the birra special. Both were great. Nicely seasoned, lots of fresh cilantro and onions. The salsa was nice and chunky with fresh ingredients and the chips were super crisp and thick. They have fresh juices and horchata. The watermelon was tasty and you can't go wrong with homemade horchata! Service was outstanding. We'll definitely stop here again. read more

Although the breakfast burrito is delicious, it is the smallest burrito I have ever eaten. The tortillas are not nearly large enough to hold the contents of the burrito, so two bites in, all of my eggs and beans had fallen out. For the same price, you can go across the street to El Super Taco and get a burrito twice the size for the same price. Also, the lady working this morning wasn't very friendly, which further tainted my experience here. read more

Hard to find with the one way streets in downtown Alamosa but worth getting lost a few times! AMAZING breakfast tacos with choice of bacon, ham, sausage or chorizo. Potatoes come with it. Nice hardy sized portions. Very very clean and the staff gave excellent and friendly service. Will be back many times on my way to the mountains. read more

I would have probably loved this place if: I had not been charged $6.00 more than listed prices due to COVID prices of meat rising. I was totally ok with this as I'd like to support small businesses but when you're eating more tortilla, onions and cilantro than meat then I'm no longer happy about paying the $6.00. Let me add my 5 star to a well deserved restaurant! We stopped by for a quick breakfast as we ran through town and was very pleasantly surprised. I had the breakfast burrito with bacon and it was excellent! This was handmade per order, in other words they didn't scoop out some eggs from a big pan. He scrambled the eggs specific for my burrito, the tortilla was cooked perfectly and assembled wonderfully. It filled the entire plate. She had the fish tacos and was also excellent. There was enough filling to make a second taco. The place was very clean too. As we ate we watched her not only clean, but also polish the soda machine and other items. Finally, they had a great "buffet" of jalapenos, hot sauces, lettuce and some of the best looking limes I've seen anywhere to accompany your meal. read more

Update: they have real plates now! Five stars! Still my favorite food in town. Awesome food, some of the best prices in town. Their salsa bar had six types of salsa, lemons, limes, radishes, both tomatoes and pico de gallo, and a few other things. The only reason I didn't give them five stars was the styrofoam plates. read more

We stumbled upon Mi Taquito during our vacation in Colorado last week. We ate a lot of delicious Mexican food on our trip, but Mi Taquito was our favorite casual restaurant and maybe our favorite restaurant of the entire trip. I had the Carne Asada plate, and my friend had three tacos. Everything was wonderful. The service was very friendly too. We highly recommend Mi Taquito. read more

For some reason they don't serve burritos wrapped in foil in Southern Colorado. Trent don't like Styrofoam containers!!! I was raised to eat the burrito in foil and pour the salsa on the top. $8.32 got me a big ass SUPER (carne asada) burrito. Killer flavor. The carne asada chunks had a real char-broil taste to it. Was prolly about a half pound of carne adada. The salsa bar was very thorough. The one problem was the structural integrity of the burrito. They don't "close" the burrito. It was more like a giant soft taco. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of close parking. I'll be back!! Maybe they can give me some foil and I can wrap my own.... :) read more

Awesome choice for breakfast. I got the chorizo burrito and for $4 it was delicious and filling. The chorizo was diced and crispy which is the best way to have it. Super pleased with the decision to eat here. read more

Delicious. My fam sampled several tacos and salsas. The adobada and shrimp tacos were great. My oldest daughter is a vegetarian and had the veggie quesadilla and liked it a lot. I had the Agua Fresca and got refills to sample the selection that day: horchata, pineapple, and watermelon. read more

I was underwhelmed. I wanted to like this place. It's got all the authentic stuff you look for when you go out of your way to avoid Americanized Mexican dining joints. Service was slow for takeout, they messed up the order, ran out of items (didn't tell me when I ordered). Tamale was the best thing about the dinner. I'd go back for those. My wife and I stopped in for the 1st time to try the taquitos. We opted for the dinner plate that included Spanish rice, refried beans and choice of 3 taquitos.I had the lenga and tripitas taquitos and my wife had the shredded beef. The food was awesome as was the staff and service. They have a salsa bar that has many options. read more
