If you want to be carless for 3 months, be my guest. We needed a quote, answering machine was full for weeks... when they finally got back to us, we were told that all the employees were fired and there was just one guy working on all the cars (Seth). Then the next day when we called again, another guy picks up, tells us Seth went to jail, and gives us a completely different diagnosis! This place has very disorganized staff who have different standards for car safety. Long story short, we ended up just scrapping the car, which we wouldve been able to do months sooner if this place was organized and knew what they were doing. Just stopped in after getting a flat tire while traveling cross country. Called AAA initially and they completely stripped two of my stud bolts, and then put on the lug nuts not completely straight, which became a huge problem when trying to change the tire. Shaun was able to help us quickly, in and out in 1.5 hours (which included picking up the 2 studs and 1 lug nut that we needed). They closed at 3 but he stayed an hour late to help get us on our way to Colorado! I 100% recommend QC Auto Service. read more

I had break maintenance done to my vehicle and they managed to damage my front bumper in late May of 2023. They promised to fix it, and gave me an estimate to bring to another company to have it fixed, I was told they would call me back within a month to a month and a half mark. Two months later I heard nothing back. They said my estimate got lost in their file so they had to do an investigation to see if this was legit which is very frustrating since I showed them the estimate they made. After stressful fighting with them for many months, and with their claims department, in late December they finally payed to get it fixed. Horrible customer care, please do not let them take advantage of you like they tried to me, there is no reason why it took them 7 months to fix my car. After unnecessarily having to get an attorney possibly involved, it expedited the process which is such bullshit. read more

Our family has trusted QC Auto for at least 15 years. Every once in awhile, they make a mistake, but have always made it right. We took our car in for a low tire--turns out it need a lot of work--two new tires, alignment and new tie rods, etc. it was not a cheap repair, $2800+. Because I trust them, I told them without hesitation to do the work. When I went in yesterday (2 1/2 weeks) later to get the wheels tightened, I was asked if I knew two lug nuts were missing from one tire. I said absolutely not. I waited for them to go purchase new ones. What should have been a 5-minute adjustment ended up being over an hour of waiting. I am upset that such a potentially dangerous and dumb mistake was made. I demanded they recheck all the work--if the guy didn't know to replace and check for lug nuts, how do I know he knew how to replace tie rods and do an alignment? They couldn't check the car yesterday and I agreed to leave it overnight to have it checked today (Saturday). Business is now closed, so we will be without a car until Monday. Also, you have to specifically request Covid accommodations--meeting outside, masking, wiping down. Again, I have always trusted and recommended them, but I will be looking for a new mechanic. read more

I took my car there to have MotorCraft factory headlights replaced, I provided the MotorCraft headlights and all the info & hardware sent with them. That night, when I turned on my headlights, they were bobbing up and down. The light beams were bouncing up and down and it was a very dangerous situation. I took my car to Strieter's the very next morning. Turns out QC Auto only used 1 screw in each headlight to hold it in place. I will NEVER return to QC auto for ANY service. Lesson learned! They have proven themselves t be inept and careless. If I could give less than 1 star, I would!! read more

The manager said and showed me damage from hitting a pothole. Gave over an 8 thousand dollar estimate of damages. Then told me his guys were not good enough for transmission work. He also then told the insurance adjuster there was no pothole damage. Prior they replaced many many parts. Those parts are not staying in place as the transmission mount broke in the collision. Which pcan make other parts go bad. This proves they have no clue about transmissions or proves they do and were taking advantage of a woman. They got mad when other shops sent me back to them for warranty parts they replaced several.times...the noise is still there and the car is worse now. At one of their shops they said dont come back. The guy got mad when i wrote on the paid bill that i will too come back for any warrantied parts. read more

They misdiagnosed the issues with the car. Took forever to get parts. Even when I got the car back a month later, there tools left behind under hood!! It was missing the splash shield and the car was still not 100% right. Terrible. read more

I have been a customer of QC Auto for 20 years but no longer. They have gone extremely downhill. I have seen managers come and go and there have have been some excellent ones. The current one absolutely is the worst. It use to be when I took my car in they would not charge for checking the lights, oil, tire pressure or brakes. They use to give you a breakdown of the parts and labor. They no longer do this. The price is in one clump. I know that I have been extremely overcharged for parts this last year. I have moved on to another business, such a shame and to think of all the people I recommended to this place. read more

There are going to be some errors in the punctuation and grammar because I'm doing talk to text and this is a very long review. I came on a Saturday and dropped my car off with Anthony to have it evaluated for transmission and air-conditioning issues. They said they get to work on her right away and give me a call. And hour or so later Anthony called to say that the master diagnostician was not in and that he would be back on Monday. I said that I was OK to come back and get it and return it on Monday. Anthony said that he could Park it. in the garage over the weekend so they can start right away on Monday morning. I said that sounds better given that there are riots going on. However, Saturday afternoon when I drove by to pick up pizza I saw my car sitting outside at the shop is closed. It was outside all weekend. On Monday morning they are open for over an hour And it was still sitting outside. I asked another representative at the front when it happened and he did not have a good answer but apologized. I collected a few items from the car that I needed for the week and left. I did not get a call all day and had to call them to get an update. They told me that they were doing all kinds of gas tests and recommended equipment and a new gas cap it would cost me almost $700. I asked them what they had to do with the transmission if that would make the transmission issues resolved. He said it had nothing to do with the transmission. I asked him why he did that work up if it has nothing to the transmission. He said the check engine light was on and they couldn't find any codes they weren't sure.I reminded him of the check engine light was never on and that I never complained about these gas issues. I complained about the transmission and that they had to start looking at the transmission that was going to be an issue. I also asked them what they can tell me about the air conditioner and they hadn't even botherEd to evaluate it. So I got a little tense and they got back to work. On Tuesday they did a little bit more work and could not find anything wrong with it and transmission other than the transmission fluid was dark. They recommended a flush which I disagreed with because the vehicle is old and I didn't want them to destroy the transmission. I recommended they just drain the transmission fluid and refill it with new fluid. They did Recharge the air conditioner. They said it was now blowing cold air. They said the test drove the car but cannot find anything wrong with it and set it as long as I don't keep flooring it from Srop to start that the check mission should work fine. I told him that I did not have problems with flooring it because I don't do that in my car and then my problems are going from Stop to first gear in my neighborhood and a slow speed and I don't have any power and that when I can't pull into an intersection have power and clears it, that's a problem for me and that's what I wanted to work on. I then asked him to look at it and recommendations for how to fix or replace the transmission. Finally they finish it all they could do and I came back to pick up the vehicle. They wanted to charge me for these gas Evaluation's, a full transmission flush wish I did not do. I said that is a problem because it is dishonest and it's not right to charge me for service you did not do and which I declined. It's also not right to treat me for service I did not ask for and did not want it was not indicated. They purged a little bit on the price but ultimately we're still in town and charge me for that transmission flush claiming that the synthetic for the long is $150. On the I even ask them just to show me an itemized break out of all the expenses and they would not do it they just read the items but never the cost of social with each line. It was so frustrating try to check out of there and my gosh I cannot possibly imagine recommending anyone go there. read more

While they may charge a little more, to me it is worth it because my car always runs better after an oil change, and they are always fair if I Have a question about a repair that is needed.
