Walk in service: Took over 4 hours for four tires and an alignment. (Quoted max 2 hours) I wonder who got the pit crew and theirs done in 10 minutes. Cherry on top I watched them give away free wipers to people who were waiting that came in after me. No offer for free wipers or any apology to rectify situation. In any other event aside from a blowout seek services elsewhere unless you have 4 hours to throw away. Since when do we change tires, pull the car down wait 2 hours and then do an alignment? Who is running the show here? read more

Spencer and Mike were absolutely AMAZING. They were professional and personable. Took my mom to get air in her back to tires. Not only did they do what they were asked, they also noticed that one of her sensors were bad. They gave us pricing information before we left and other tips. We'd had a long busy day and were all over the place trying to explain things. They were patient, shook our hands, joked around a bit. Really reassured us on things and made us feel welcomed at their establishment. Typically the guys just air the tires, give you the basic run down and send you on your way. No issues with that. Spencer and Mike went above and beyond with their customer service. Great guys! THANK YOU read more

Polite fast service. Four new tires with tire pressure sensors and balanced in 10 minutes, no exaggeration. They literally handled my vehicle like a pit crew. read more

Recently ordered tires online and scheduled an appt. I confirmed the appt severals only to be notified 10 mins before arriving that my tires never came in. Rescheduled service, when checking in I informed them I'm keeping my rear tires. I only bought new tires due to mechanical work done on front end... I was assured the tires would be placed in the bed of my truck. Later that evening I went to store the tires but they weren't there. When I called I was told to come back and they'll help me look for my old tires. I returned the next day only to be told my tires were gone but they offered me some other tires, but those offered had bad wearing on the other edge. I ended up leaving without any ties. I accept responsibility for not checking that my tires were in the bed of the truck before leaving. Also my new tires weren't properly inflated. read more

Discount Tire - 5lb tire pressure difference after getting new tires installed. - Wheel & Rim Repair Near Me - Davenport, Iowa

the people up front are nice did there Job well, however there technicians are young snd very un helpful, wouldn't touch a simple alighent because of rust and said I needed 10,000 worth of parts, from whole new tie rods to my ball joints both sets, witch are in great condition, but brought it to jack's down the street where they never questioned anything and did the job no problem. straight SCAM ARTISTS, DONT GO HERE, discount tire has always taken care of me in the past but don't go here!!! I have never left a bad review anywhere but I don't want others to go through the waist of time and money I have:( additionally they said I would be refunded by now for the job they refused to do I waited 3 hours for and that is yet to happen so I still have to deal with this terrible establishment. read more

I went to discount tire today on West Kimberly road in Davenport and the first thing I liked about it was TJ met me at my car door and asked me if he could help me and it was all good from there. We went to the register he told me about a couple of deals they were a little too high for me cuz I'm on a fixed budget and then he finally came up with the third one and that was it I said let's do it I got out of there with money in my pocket I was happy it didn't take very long I brought chips and a drink with me I thought it was going to take forever but I didn't even get to eat any of it it was done. The guy who worked on my vehicle came out and explain to me what he did and that he was all done pulled my car back up in the front and we were done I watched TJ as he worked with other people and he treated them just the same way as he treated me I will always go back there and I will always recommend discount tire. Even if TJ doesn't work there anymore everybody else was just as nice and knowledgeable and friendly as he was I went from having a very negative morning to a very positive morning just because they fixed my issue in a hurry thank you very much Judylinn Depover read more

Purchased tires a year ago. Came in for a rotation and to have the tire sensors replaced. The tech said it'd be done in an hour and a half. I asked how accurate their time frame is and he indicated 'really close to what's quoted'. I waited. I watched the app notification they provide. So far it's been two hours 10 minutes. My car hasn't even made it into the bay yet. I understand a LITTLE Flex Time but don't quote a time if you can't come close. Staff has been friendly though. Lots of traffic in and out. Definitely a busy place so if they quote a time just know you'll probably be waiting a lot longer. read more

I always use Discount Tire in the area that I live in. Recently, I went to the one in my area, and they suggested that I couldn't do a rotation & balance. Reason being ,one of the tires was sort of close to the minimal 2/32 of tread depth. They instead suggested that I buy a new tire. I said no thanks. Fast forward a few weeks and I'm out of town working, and I'm here in Bettendorf and I hear a tire noise, so I go to the one that I'm reviewing now. I go to this facility in Bettendorf and tell him the story. They look at my tires , and say no you still have some tread depth. and there was nothing wrong with my tires. We will rotate and balance for you. They didn't have to be totally honest, and open , but they were. Five stars for honesty, when the guy back home was trying to upsell me on buying a new $200 tire on the premise that I needed it. .Good customer service at this store and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Recommend! read more

I have utilised this store many times for new tires on my vehicles. With 4 people driving in my household I keep good dependable tires on all vehicles and this company supports that with no headaches. What sets them above all the rest is when we have any issues ie nail etc in tires they get us in and taken care of swiftly, keep up the great customer service and support and we will be returning for years to come. read more

The people that work here are angels! My family and I needed a couple of trailer tires so I could make a trip across the country to be with family as I found out that I have cancer. I was getting my post grad and money was extremely tight. They wanted to make sure I got there safely so they replaced all of the tires on my trailer and charged me less than I could buy a tire anywhere else. The employees here are kind and care about their customers and their safety! They impacted my life more than they will ever know! I was extremely stressed about how I was going to be able to find tires and try and get them on and pay for what I needed and they did it all! I am extremely grateful to these wonderful people! read more

just got four tires replaced on RAV4 AWD. price was competitive (Sams club would have been cheaper, but would have had to drive a week with a nail in one tire). curious why they didn't do or offer alignment read more

Had an issue with a job done at a Discount Tire in another state and contacted the Davenport store on Elmore Ave and talked to Alex and he told me to stop by and they would take care of it. Don't go here if you don't have an appointment. Get ready for a three hour wait for a tire rotation.

so I had a 9:15 appointment to get a tire patched and instead ended up getting 4 new tires. I asked how long it would take and she said it takes less time then fixing a patch, well it's been over an hour and still here I sit. I don't care how long it takes, you already made the sale, but dont give me some bullshit about it only takes 20 minutes read more

* their their service sucks after 5 hours to get two new tire the didn't even rotate them as I'd told at lease 3 times

Discount tire is such an underrated company. Theh deserve much more praise. They fill your tires and rotate them for free if you buy their super affordable and good quality tires. Today, I needed air in my tires. An employee filled them up super quickly and told me that all 4 of my caps were missing so he replaced them free of charge. It's also absolutely freezing outside so I'm thankful for the quick service. read more

Came in without an appointment in need of a new tire after a bad flat. Being a young female, going to an auto shop can be an intimidating experience. They got me my new tire with new trouble at all at a fair price. I was in and out faster than expected and the employees were all extremely nice. I would highly recommend going here. read more

Fast, convenient service! During oil change at Walmart a bubble was found in one of the tires. Took it to discount tire since it was close. Richard was very friendly and took care of everything. He called the warranty company for the old tire and took care of everything on that end. Took under an hour for the whole process. Couldn't have asked for a better experience especially when you least expected a tire problem. read more

First I ordered tires that were 3 days late getting here. Then finally, at my 1pm appointment, they told me they would get right on it for me. At 1:45pm I checked on the progress to find they had not even pulled it in yet. Also, 2 other walk-in customers were helped ahead of my appointment. I got my keys and left, very angry. The following day, the manager called me, he apologized and explained he was off and this was not the service his store normally provides, and wanted a chance to correct it. After some time I relented. I will say, he more than corrected it to my satisfaction! I am in aww of the service and sales correction they made, both financially as well as an apology that was sincere! Then there was the wonderful service that was done in 30 minutes. Including much more than I originally came in for, and the extra was on him! Top notch customer service! They turned a disgruntled customer into a happily supportive, and loyal customer. read more

I was driving back to Denver from Chicago when my vehicle's sensor indicated low tire pressure. I was able to fill the tire twice at gas stations and make it to this "Discount Tire." The staff was courteous, prompt, and efficient in fixing the tire, which had a 4" metal bit stuck in the tire. Thank you for the great service. read more

I have been here a few different times and each time has been a great experience. They are super friendly, personable and informative, and each time has been a quick visit. I've purchased tires here and also had a tire repaired. I had a screw stuck in my tire and as long as it is located in a safe spot, patching the tire is completely free and I only had to wait 15 minutes. The waiting area is very nice and clean. They offer free bottles of water and coffee while you wait. Great place and I will definitely return! read more

The best service hands down!! Jacob, Assistant Manager took care of my daughter's flat even though it was after hours. Reasonable prices and top notch, speedy service. We are now life-long customers! read more

DO NOT WALK IN for tires unless you want to wait over two hours. My girl and I were here to get new tires on her car. We paid for them at 1:30 and we were still waiting for them at 4:00. It helps to have an appointment, as we were walk ins. We were told two hours and it has been 2 1/2 so far. read more

My wife had 3 exceptional experiences with this store. I, on the other hand, have been deeply disappointed with my recent purchase of 4 Michelin tires for my 2016 Subaru Forester. We chose to purchase those tires there, even though we found them for a lower price at other dealers, because of my wife's confidence in their customer service. Here is why I am so upset with them: "Promise her anything but give her Arpege" - This line from an old perfume commercial captures the pre-purchase vs. the post- purchase experience. While shopping the tires, they made all sorts of commitments which they did not honor once I was there with credit card in hand. Let me elaborate: 1. BEFORE, they did inform me that they did not do alignments, but that they had an arrangement with a place that did them. When I came in to have the tires installed, they would call the place and arrange a same day alignment. However, AFTER, they just handed me a card from the place and said call them yourself. When I said I was told that they would arrange the alignment for the same day when I brought the car in, I was told, "I don't know who told you that. We just give you their card," to which I responded to the salesperson, "YOU told me that." Of course, when I called there was no workable appointment available on that day and I had to make one for the next day. 2. BEFORE, when I was shopping the tires, I was told that the alignment would cost me $50.00 AFTER, when I looked on the back of the card they gave, it is noted that 2-wheel alignments are $50.00 while 4-wheel alignments are $70.00. The person who told me $50.00 was the very same person who inspected my all-wheel drive car and processed the tire selection. 3. BEFORE, my wife called them to find out about using a discount coupon she found from Michelin. They told her that they were aware of the discount, would notify Michelin to send us the rebate. AFTER, when I asked them about the discount, they told me I had to take care of it myself, sending into Michelin the coupon and my receipt of purchase. 4. BEFORE, while shopping the tires, they told me about all the services and guarantees that went along with the purchase. AFTER, once the tires were purchased and installed the failed to supply me with any document stating and verifying those guarantees and services, leaving me with no proof should they ever choose to deny them to me. read more

Needed tires ASAP. They had them and installed them in about 30 minutes. See Maurice, he'll set you right. I'm a believer In DT now.

I purchased all four tires and the service was outstanding! It took a little bit longer than the time I was told- but they kept me posted and were really nice about it handling it exactly as it should be. Exceptional service - great product all around. read more

I have purchased two sets of Michelins for an SUV and a sports car from this store. Balancing was perfect but the price was even better. Online prices are not the best you can do! The common understanding out there is that Tirerack prices are about the best you can get. Not necessarily true! Take the manager your online quote and challenge him with it. Worked out nicely for me. Very nicely. The technicians were careful with my cars and rims. I don't know if they used a torque wrench or a tuned extension on an impact wrench, regardless, they were close to recommended values when I checked. I'll keep going back. Especially if I'm choosing Michelin. read more

After years of taking my vehicles to this company and location. Having several issues like being charge for a punctured tire replacement when I brought road hazard ins. Another time of them putting the oil filter on wrong and all the oil leaked out. Now because I didn't want a lifetime wheel alignment and didn't buy the tires from them they refuse to align my vehicle. Needless to say I will never use tiresplus again. Beware of this location it goes through managers like I change my socks. Incompetent to say the least. read more

The staff at this location is amazing. My first visit to get all 4 new tires was extremely smooth and took no more than 30 minutes, everyone was very nice and professional. A few months later I bent one of my rims and messed the tire pretty badly and low and behold; my car doesn't come with a spare! I had the car towed to a different tire place and they were going to charge me $150 for the rim and $90 for the tire, plus labor was not included for putting the rim on. I called Discount Tire and they informed me that my tires were still under warranty and they would replace the tire at no cost and attempt o fix the rim before replacing it. I paid another towing charge to get it taken over to Discount Tire and it was completely worth it! They replaced my rim for $70 and replaced my tire under warranty and had the car done in 15 minutes! I can't recommend this location enough, they were extremely helpful and saved me a ton of money and a lot of headache. I highly recommend them for any and all of your tire needs. read more

So first off I brought in my wheels in to get tire sensors put in them and these unprofessionals obviously don't know what they're doing because they destroyed the tires and had to order new ones for me. They said it would be a week, so I called a week later and these jokers didn't even order them now they're saying it's going to be 4 more days. If these people think I'm going to trust them to put my tires on they're strongly mistaken. VERY DISAPPOINTED, never going here again! I wouldn't either if I was you! read more

I would like to post my sincerest thanks to Discount Tire for the fantastic service that they provided to me. On September 18, I was traveling by car from San Diego to a Suburban city of Detroit. My vehicle was very heavily loaded with bags and expensive equipment. Just before I was to cross from Iowa into Illinois I had a rear tire on my vehicle blow out. It was late in the day and I was traveling with my wife and children who were in another vehicle. My first thought was I'm in seriously deep trouble. I did not have much money on me or in my checking account. It was a very scary moment. However, after a moment of prayer I decided to call a tire shop for advice. When I put "tire store Davenport" into my phone, I just called the first number that came up. That first number was to the Discount Tire store in DAVENPORT IA. Shawndale France was the first person that I spoke to. After explaining the situation he asked where I purchased my tires. Suddenly, I remembered that I had purchased my tires through a Discount Tire store in San Diego. Shawn advised me to not to call a tow truck but to put on my spare and bring my vehicle in right away. He said they would take a look and see what they could do. When I was finally able to get there it was a little after 3:00PM. Brian Meads the store manager took a look at my information and was able to give me a great price on a new tire. He then went out to check my vehicle. Even from a distance I could tell from his face that he saw a big problem. As Brian walked around my car he pointed out how and why all my tires were clearly in very dangerous condition and would not be able to get me the additional distance to Detroit; especially with the load that I was carrying. I would need 4 new tires and I would need them now. My stomach felt like I swallowed one of those tires. I thought: How am I going to pay for the new tires? How will I get to where I was going? Brian was quick to remind me that I had purchased the tires from Discount Tire and that the company valued its customers. Especially, ones that were in difficult situations like the one I was in. We went back into the office and Brian showed me how that because my tires were less than a year old that he was able to provide a significant discount. In fact, he was able to get me back on the road with 4 new tires that were insured for less than one tire for some sports cars. If Discount Tire had not have honored its warranty and valued their customers I would have literally been marooned at the tire shop. Thanks to Brian Meads I was not. The friendly team at Davenport Discount tire was able to mount, balance and replace four new tires within a very short period of time. While I was waiting, there was even a New Burger King next door to grab a tasty snack while I waited. Within the time it took me to down a burger, onion rings and a tall icy drink they had me ready to get back on the road. Shawndale, Brian and Discount Tire really saved the day for me. I'd like to Thank Discount Tire Davenport, 5705 Elmore Ave Davenport IA for their help and their highly professional courteous and humorous service. I'm a very happy customer. read more
