They billed me then as a new starter but had to take my old one as a core charge(?) The one I had installed that failed under warranty so I wasn't able to get my warranty on it from Oreilly's. Muscatine Tire tested it and said everything was good nothing needed. 3 starts later it wouldn't start again. This time I was in Bettendorf and by chance was in the parking lot of a competitor. Got to pay the diagnostic fee again and was told the cheep import starter had failed.

An example of how good they are, I recently had my compressor go on my air-conditioning system in my car they replaced the compressor and I was back on the road within one day. Several days later the air started coming out warm, I brought the car back and was told the compressor self destructed. and there was metal filings throughout my AC system they replaced the entire system without any charge to me saying that they would cover it and get the money from the warranty provided by the company that manufactured the compressor. this is the type of service you can expect if you take your car to Curry's. I asked to keep all four tires that were being replaced and they still threw them away. When I asked for my tires they wanted to give me bald tires that weren't even the same size, and didn't want to pay me or replace my tires they threw away that were still good. Went in for an oil change and they had told me that my car had a oil leak but I had not been losing…read moreany oil (I check it regularly) which would be happening if there was a leak... they tired telling me it was over a $500 fix I said no just do the oil change. Now after that my car is leaking oil and has not ran properly since. Didn't have any problems until I took it into them. I feel they purposely sabotaged my vechile to make money.
