I have been going to Curry's for several years now and I've always been satisfied and they have been terrific. An example of how good they are, I recently had my compressor go on my air-conditioning system in my car they replaced the compressor and I was back on the road within one day. Several days later the air started coming out warm, I brought the car back and was told the compressor self destructed. and there was metal filings throughout my AC system they replaced the entire system without any charge to me saying that they would cover it and get the money from the warranty provided by the company that manufactured the compressor. this is the type of service you can expect if you take your car to Curry's. They stand behind their work and are excellent mechanics. Ladies don't be afraid of taking your car there. Went for tire mount and balance and alignment and then told me theirs alignment machine was broken for 2 weeks. Then they sent it to another shop and took 2 more days to do alignment. I asked to keep all four tires that were being replaced and they still threw them away. When I asked for my tires they wanted to give me bald tires that weren't even the same size, and didn't want to pay me or replace my tires they threw away that were still good. It took two weeks to fix this issue. Very bad at getting jobs done fast. Poor communication. read more

I have had to go to a few repair shops in Muscatine and I have found Curry's to be worthwhile. While it seems hard to find an honest mechanic, Curry's has not done me wrong. I have come to trust them and the work they do and their prices are reasonable. I have recommended them to others and my son has gotten good service from as well. These guys are a joke! You can buy a vehicle from them that looks pretty and checks out fine, then a few months down the road all the duct tape they used to hold it together starts falling off and you really see what you purchased. Oh sure, you can take it back to them and ask them to fix it, and they will. They'll fix it to a point to where something else isn't working right. They'll just say it will work it self out after 50-100 miles or so. Keep taking it back for the same reason and you won't get anywhere with them. They'll also rip you off with repair cost as well (I know this from experience). If you have a $25 part that needs replaced and just don't have that extra hour to fix it, Curry's will do it for you for $175! Not a bad deal for them huh? Heck, they might even point out a few other things you can bring in your vehicle for to get repaired! read more
