Pistachio latte

My first visit to the Yemeni café in Duluth felt like a special discovery. Tucked in between several vacant businesses on the second level of a plaza, this cafe was beautiful and spacious. There's plenty of seating and the decor feels warm and thoughtfully put together. I ordered an iced pistachio latte--creamy and refreshing. Nawal added warmth and care to our visit, which made the experience feel especially welcoming. They were calling some orders over a microphone, which was unexpected in such a cozy, personal-feeling space, but it didn't take away from the experience. With spring here, a few outdoor tables along the breezeway railing would be such a sweet touch. Overall, a lovely spot worth spending time in!

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee is such a nice open-space cafe. It is super duper clean, drinks are uniquely crafted and the employees were super informative and kind!! There are multiple areas to sit and lounge at and did I mention that it is spacious? This place is huge!

Food, ambiance or service - take your pick or all 3! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with works of art, books and ample dining space. Food is available with offerings mainly geared towards lite bites including a case full of appetizing pastries. The star of the show is definitely the coffee and other beverage options. Details were provided of content, along with helpful staff to answer additional questions. I selected the Sheba coffee and a honeycomb. My partner had the Turkish coffee. The Sheba consists of Qishr or Cascara with ginger and cinnamon, and I was told it was a low caffeine hot drink made from the husks of the coffee (plant). The barista sweetened with honey and that aligned perfectly with the honey drizzled on my warm honeycomb pastry. The pastry also had a cream cheese filling. Both extremely good. My partner's Turkish coffee was served in a gorgeous adored cup with a demi cup. He enjoyed it as it was his second time at Qamaria, and thought highly enough to bring me for 2nd visit. I observed many student age patrons on their laptops, as well as couples and families. Clean through & through. There were ample outlets throughout. Qamaria is in a shopping center with several other businesses and directly above the Duluth Village office. There is ample free parking and several ways to exit/enter businesses. I look forward to my next visit as the biscoff cheesecake was eyeballing me!

The cafe interior is truly beautiful and spacious. IV. CAPACITY There's fair amount of seating during week days, perfect for getting work done or studying.

Sooo excited to see Qamaria now has a location in Duluth!!! I had first tried Qamaria a few years ago in California and was thrilled when I heard we were getting one here. The vibes here are stunning. Reminded my husband of Dubai. We've come here two nights during Ramadan so far, and although it's a bit of a drive it's sooo worth it. Definitely one of my favorites. Everyone is very friendly, and love the drinks and sweet treats! Favorites: Adeni Shai (not as sweet as I expected which is nice), Baklava Cheesecake

Lively Middle Eastern coffee and chai lounge that is great for social gatherings of friends and family! It can get pretty busy on Friday nights, to the point where glass mugs ran out, so be prepared. The staff are very kind and help prepare the drinks and desserts quickly. I tried the Adeni Tea in a medium kettle and it was plenty for 4 people. The chai was good, and hot, not particularly special in terms of flavor. The tiramisu cake was a nice pairing and easy to share. The lighting in the cafe/lounge is pretty bright and does not totally align with the art and vibe created.

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee recently opened, and my partner and I stopped by to try their iced pistachio latte. As soon as we walked in, it was very busy. They have a good amount of seating--booths, chairs, and tables--but most of it was already taken. The popularity is clearly there, especially for a newer spot. We waited in line at the register for about 10 minutes before placing our order. We ordered a 16 oz iced pistachio latte for $7.75, then found seats and waited about 7 minutes for our drinks to come out, which felt reasonable given how crowded it was. The interior was clean and modern, with a cozy café vibe despite the hustle. Even with the crowd, the space didn't feel chaotic--just lively. The iced pistachio latte itself was smooth, nutty, and lightly sweet without tasting artificial or overpowering. The pistachio flavor came through nicely and paired well with the coffee. It's definitely on the sweeter side, but still balanced and refreshing. They also have a wide and impressive menu beyond coffee, including teas, hot and cold drinks, and plenty of pastries and desserts like brownie tiramisu, pistachio tiramisu, classic tiramisu, coconut/pistachio/rose/lotus tres leches, as well as savory options like cheese pie, meat pie, and spinach pockets. Overall, Qamaria Yemeni Coffee feels like a strong new addition to the area. It's busy, so expect a short wait during peak times, but the drinks are well-made and the space is inviting. With plenty of seating and a comfortable atmosphere, this is definitely a place I'll be coming back to--and studying at.

I am finally getting around to reviewing my visit on the soft opening day. This was my first visit to a Yemeni shop and it was fantastic. The place was very busy and popular. Lots of seating and the space was bright and beautiful. I had the iced adeni tea and a biscoff milk cake which were both so delicious. I look forward to going back to try more drinks and pastries.

I came when the place opened about two weeks around 2 in the afternoon on a weekday. It was pretty busy. The place is very big, perfect for big group gatherings. There are plenty of tables. Lot of customers were there with their laptops - working or studying. It's well designed and very clean. They offer a variety of hot and cold beverages and desserts. I tried iced pistachio latte and biscoff tres leches cake. The latte was a bit too sweet but pretty good. The cake was very good. I'll come back again. I hope they succeed!

I do not feel as though downtown Duluth truly captures the amazing food scene of the city, but again, an old friend did like it enough to tell me about it. Inside was pretty spacious. High ceilings and bright. You have to go up front and order, and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. Pretty standard so far. It's not too loud, even with the music playing in the background, so not bad for hanging out with friends after the food is done, though we didn't. We were all pretty disappointed with our food. It wasn't bad, thankfully, it was just meh. We could've literally drove 5 minutes away for better, so we left as soon as we finished. The good thing is you get to choose what protein you want with your dish, which is nice. However, the chicken katsu here is thin. Also, the K-Fried chicken doesn't really mesh with the pasta. It's like a skewer on the side of your main dish. You can eat them separately and be happy enough. I was ok with the bulgogi, but I would've expected better from a Korean establishment. I haven't tried every single protein option, but I won't lie, tofu in pasta isn't the most appealing to me. For the main dishes, it was pretty bland, especially the omurice. You need the egg and the protein for flavor. The Schezwan pasta wasn't even spicy. At least the carbonara was creamy as it should be.

Well, hate to be frank, but our Souffle Pancake was just very disappointing. While the pancake was nice and fluffy, the toppings and presentation wasn't even close to being as good as they used to be. I felt this was new management, with a whole, new style of doing desserts maybe? In any case, we did think the pancake tasted good...but it was just lacking in the creamy topping, as only the top layer had this creamy base. The lower 2 pancakes had no cream on it...and tasted quite bland. Even the strawberry sauce was minimal...so minimal, I went up to ask for more. Also, the decorative toppings, including the strawberry, were just BLAHHH. If you come here expecting the Strawberry Souffle Pancake of the past, you'll be disappointed. So nope...just not pretty enough for Instagramming. Made me wonder if the rest of the desserts have gone down as well?? For drinks, my husband had Cappuccino, and I had this Oohlong Tea. Not pictured, but the presentation was just passable...and the taste was just OK. If I recall, their drinks used to be presented beautifully as well as their desserts...but from the look of things, that may no longer be true. Guess I may give this place at least another try. Who knows? Maybe it was just an off night?? Hopefully I can upgrade the review on my next v visit...should the dessert and the drink look and taste better. Fingers crossed??

It was hot, hearty, and filling--you can taste the beef, not just tomato, so they incorporated it into the sauce really well. Still glad they gave pickled radish on the side, but it's not needed to cut the heaviness like it is for the pasta because the side salad was refreshing enough. The drinks here are pretty standard for Duluth, so if you're here, might as well, but there isn't a drink here I would drive the distance for. They tend to be a bit sweeter than I prefer. My thoughts from my first review about the rest of the menu mostly remain unchanged. I still think the bingsu is good to share, though there are better places for it than here.
