Late in the engagement, we discovered a significant error (my mistake), and they sprung into action to rectify it and did so in the most professional and fair way possible. We had a massive 8'x8' island that required the joining of two slabs. Their work was so flawless that we play a game with guests, asking them to find the seam -- it takes quite an effort. Todd Branson specializes in premium countertops, so it didn't seem like he could come down to our budget. But he just happens to have some single slabs left over from larger projects. We came to an agreement very quickly and his account manager, Michelle, was very easy to work with. Todd came to our home to personally to take measurements for cutting the slab. Todd arrived as expected right on time. He set up some very sensitive laser equipment to perform the task. He listened to our design preferences and made us aware of options such as increasing the edge height to hide the sub-countertop. Todd's measurements must have been very good because the installation only took a couple of hours. He got as much stone out of that slab as humanly possible and apologized for not having enough to make one of the seams disappear. It is the most beautiful countertop we have ever seen. And my wife and I are very house-y.

For that job they were quick, came in one day, did the measurements, returned the next day to install and it came out beautiful. This time, November 2024, I had a renovation to an apartment I acquired that I intended to sell. I tried to be a big girl and be my own GC and reach out to the contractors that were used before. I had called VC Flooring, talked to Betty and we continued our further discussions via text. Everything went flawlessly as the first time, he came to measure, returned another day and did the install... or so I thought.... Fast forward to the apartment being done and all I needed was the appliances installed. The delivery guys from Home Depot come with my appliances. They go to put the refrigerator in and it doesn't fit. I'm not there for the install, my elderly mother is. They tell my mom that the counter is too big and needs to be cut down! She passes on the info, I end up forwarding the texts, pictures and messages to Betty. Betty informs me that she will have the installer come back out to cut the counter. The installer returns to cut the counter down but by doing so would require smaller cabinets. So technically, everything was correct on their end, it was the refrigerator was too big! Thankfully, VC Flooring did not charge me extra for all the headache and return trips. Thank you Betty and team for all your assistance with this learning process for me.

During my 2005 kitchen remodel I had a slide in oven installed in my kitchen island which had a solid surface top. In February 2023 I had to replace my slide in oven and discovered that the demensions of current slide-ins are different from 2005, therefore I needed my island counter top re-cut to current specifications. I called numerous counter top businesses to see if they could do this kind of job, with no success. However one business referred me to Robert Yue at Aloha Solid Surface Refinishing. He has done this kind of job before and felt confident he could help me. I felt his quote was reasonable and he was able to to do the job in a timely manner. Also there was no ventilation over the cooktop, it was by the window and if you're cooking the splatter can go on the window/screen so not ideal lol. Looked on Yelp and found LG Construction. Called and spoke with Shen he came over the next day and gave a reasonable quote. What made us choose them was the professional manner and knowledge. Shen was always there to answer questions and ensure we were happy. The workers were very kind and skilled. James the owner was amazing and he understood right away what concerns we had. The whole process was smooth and let's say I'm enjoying my kitchen even more! They removed the window and secured the outside and inside, they put up our beautiful glass blue tiles. This was done during the whole Kona storms and we had an issue with getting our hood (it was on one of the ships that was put out to sea due to the storm but once it came to port I went to pick it up and called Shen, they came a few days later and magic! Final walk through was great and truly our family is so happy with everything from day 1 to the final day! Highly recommend they are super professional from their electrician, tile worker, countertop installation workers and everyone was great! I was looking for a construction company on Yelp and found LG constructtion. It had good reviews…read moreso my sister and i set up an appt. with Shen. He was easy to work with and explained all the work that needed to be done. I was hesittant at first because of the cost, but my friend who was having her place remodelled in California said that it was an appropriate bid. Well, when we saw the final result, it looked like a new townhouse. Shen was very helpful picking out the colors and appropriate fixtures. I would definitely recomment LG construction for your remodelling and give it a 5 star/excellent rating. To top things off, he finished the work ahead of schedule and this is my honest opinion.

Rocky was very professional and respectful, not to mention extremely talented and well organized; he maintained a clean work area throughout the entire project. Kai initially estimated the project to be completed within 10 days, but they were done in less than 6 days and did a stellar job; our kitchen looks amazing!
