We have known Ian O the owner for over 50 years and his son Carl since he was born. When Carl was the one to show up to install we were happy to see that he had same work ethic as his dad. He was reliable, creative and patient. They showed up when they said and the cabinets were complete BEFORE the agreed upon date. The workmanship was perfect . The job was more then fair priced and came in exactly on budget. This family run business is an honor to observe. The end product has a beautiful finish ..... we had satin glass panels designed in. Carl was great at telling us what would work and helping us choose handle positions, wood finish and design. We highly reccomend this father and son company who has passed dependability and excellence down the line.

He also made new custom doors and drawers for our bathroom vanities that fit perfectly and made the vanities look new. Kenny was very easy to work with and he provided good guidance and advice on the design for our new kitchen cabinets. He is a skilled cabinet maker and I was totally impressed with the construction of the cabinets and components. He used high quality materials for all the cabinets, door hinges, and soft closing drawer slides. Everything is solid, all drawers and doors operate smoothly and these cabinets look good and will last a long time. Kenny did a real professional job installing the cabinets, making sure the cabinets, doors and drawers were all properly aligned and working perfectly. There are very few individuals I would personally vouch for, and I don't know Kenny (owner & operator) personally, but I would totally drop his name to anyone that is looking for help with their cabinets!!!!! 5 exclamation points y'all! Lol To invite you into my 5 STAR experience, here's a list of reasons why I believe you should hire Bert's Cabinet for the job AND/OR refer your friends and family: - Kenny was prompt to respond to the Yelp Project request that 3 other vendors completely ignored - Kenny is so down to earth! He took the time to listen to my concerns and we discussed the best route to take. The home we just purchased had cabinets that were put in all kapakahi - boxes, doors, and knobs! Kenny was confident that he could solve our kitchen problems :) - Kenny showed up ON TIME to each appt and remained considerate of us, considerate of our home, considerate of my neighbors, accurate in measurements, respectful of our budget, AND clear in setting expectations from start to finish! On install day, we got an exclusive visitation from Kenny's assistant - THE Bert himself, Kenny's dad! Lol Kenny & Bert worked great together. They accepted one another's input and got the job done fast. For our whole kitchen, with setup to protect our floors and countertops, installing the custom made drawers, refaced cabinet doors and hinges, placement and install of our provided handles in 3 different sizes, clean up, chatting thru the celebration of our brand new cabinets, and collection of payment - Kenny & Bert completed the job in less than 5 hrs! I could go on and on with the many things I appreciated about this company and their work. It's good to see small businesses with such high quality and standards for themselves, and who commit to doing solid work. With our new home purchase and renovations gone south, not to mention the many issues we faced right after purchasing this property, Kenny of Bert's Cabinet was a breath of fresh air!! Hire him!!

William and the team at Ming Yang (MY) Construction are phenomenal!…read more Kitchen remodel, 5 Stars. They helped us step out of the 70s and into something so much more modern. From the first site visit to the final walkthrough, everything was seamless. William managed this project very well and guided us through this process with ease. At any point if we had questions he was quick to respond. The showroom they have is great and the experience of setting your preferences on design and materials is quite enjoyable. The only hiccup we encountered is that the supplier of the original tile that had been selected did not come in the size we needed and so it wouldn't have meshed well with the current tile in the living room. William helped us find a suitable alternative and we were able to pivot and are very pleased with the outcome. There were a couple of adjustments during the project but again related to the tile, we changed the direction of the placement which allows for us to replace the remaining tile in the house in the future if we decided to do so. William and team thinking ahead with our needs in mind really provided a sense of care. To top it all off, we wanted this build done ASAP and the team was able to complete the remodel in 8 days compared to their estimate of 10 - 14. We are extremely pleased with the work and so glad we went with a business right here in Kaneohe. Thank you William, Wen, and team!
