It was a nice quaint atmosphere, however the color options are limited and felt rushed to pick a color. Paid $130 for full set of acrylic and pedicure with gel, just to have the color on my toes chip and peel within 4 hours of getting them done. Workers started out nice but didn't seem to want to listen to my requests on shape and seemed irritated when I didn't like the color and ended up giving me a color that I didn't ask for but I am non confrontational. After we left, my sister told me that the owner, who gave her a pedicure, got on to her about not using gel polish on toes and how it would take a long time to dry with normal polish. Unprofessional and overpriced. I had my nails done and a pedi. I ask for the eyelash strips. They were put on wrong looked terrible and she still charged me 30.00 and kept my change for a tip without asking instead she just told me it was a tip. I went to my car and pulled off the eyelashes. Way overpriced! The place is cute and neat, but the customer service is horrible so it's services. They didn't have any of the 7 colors I chose from the color palette they gave me. I also don't like how they impose (not offer, really impose) you to do gel, and charge for each customer their own prices. (If they are not busy you'll be paying their rent of the day for one mani and pedi) I did a $30 pedicure, nail technician did it within 15 minutes and had the audacity to charge me $50 for it. I asked why and she said the extra $20 is only for the gel polish. Ended up paying over $100 for 1 mani and 1 pedi so bad that I would not get it not even for free. Also noticed that once I questioned about the $50 on the $30 pedicure that I chose, the owner came fast to give me $10 off cupons. It's like they try to reap you off but will offer a 'next time discount' if the customer is aware of their scam. Not professional at all. And my nails are all filed uneven and crooked. read more

So disappointing! Walked in and their door was open so there are lady bugs and 2 bees flying around. Got a polish change on my toes. $10. There is still evidence of my old polish (red) with the inconsistent pink painted around it so it looks like my toes/cuticles are bleeding. The "manicure" was horrible. I explained very clearly I wanted to remove the acrylic nails since my real nails have gotten long and have a manicure with my real nails. The older woman chopped off my pinky nail to the skin to remove the nails. I quickly stopped her and she said that's how acrylic nails are removed. I said no, And reminded her again I want to keep my real nails long. She then told me the only way to do that is to soak them off and would take 30 Minutes. I said yes, that's what I wanted. She then very rudely said but it takes 30 Minutes, like I was somehow inconveniencing her. I was the only person in the shop that morning. She put my nails in acetone and walked outside. She came back 15 minutes later to do the first grind and said it would take 45 minutes. I told her that's not a problem, I have the time. She huffed, grinded, and went back outside. She came back in again to repeat this process. After the acrylic was off, she quickly and inconsistently filed My nails. She not only Didn't ask what shape I wanted or if I wanted them trimmed at all, so they were all different shapes and lengths. She put cuticle oil on my nails, rubbed it in and told me to go wash my hands. When I came back, she asked that I pay before she started painting my nails. So to recap, no drink was offered, cut one nail totally down to skin, did not shape my nails, did nothing to ensure the length was even, and did no cuticle care other than Throwing some oil on it. I told she they were not shaped at all and she said I didn't want them shaped because I mentioned earlier I wanted to keep them long. I told her I was going to pay and leave. I have been getting manicures for 15 years and have never had an experience like this. Unprofessional and horrible quality. If I could give zero stars I would. The only thing I can assume is they don't have their license. Usually a license is hung very clearly but I saw none. Wouldn't go back even if I was paid to. I will stick with Soho nails by Hamilton place mall. You would think a new business would try to keep customers- especially when I mentioned it was my first time here. read more

Anna, Sophia, Sophia's daughter, and the others are excellent at what they do! I have been going since they opened and always walked away extremely satisfied and uplifted. I've brought in several of my friends for pedis and manis and ALL loved the experience at Q Nails! Sophia gives the best pedicures ever...special attention taken on my problem spots like occasional ingrown toenails, rough patches on my feet, and she ALWAYS does a fabulous job with the clay, lotions, oils, hot stones, etc... And my "paint job" is always flawless!!! I was a nail-biter but Miss Anna has broken that habit by keeping my nails looking good and healthy! I work extremely hard at my job and am rough on my hands, but Anna works miracles!!! Plus, she is super friendly and always takes the time to just talk---asking about my family, my job, our love of food, and so on. When I walk in, they make ME feel like part of their family!!! That means a lot in the service business. Tonight I was in a bad holiday "funk" mood and the girls were so concerned about me. They took extra good care and even wiped away my tears. I do not recommend going to Q Nails at 5926 Howe Ln, Suite 118 , Ooltewah, Tn. I got severe chemical burns on right hand nails 01after hands were put in plastic bags with nail softner & remover in them & had to go to Emergency Room. Severe pain developed in right hand. Finger nails turned yellow & nails turned up on ends. Then turned reddish black. I will loose (2) or more nails which may not grow back. I was given pain pills & antibiotics as infection could set in. I went back to ask a question & was screamed at. I was being treated by my sister-in-law for my 80th Birthday & this was only my 2nd nail experience. Absolutely horrible experience. read more
