She was quick to respond, and extremely knowledgeable. We could not have had better care. Bosque Trails is committed to excellent communication, care for all of the family, and respect for every aspect of my aunt's end of life. Ayesha, the nurse who helped Jessie with her hygiene, was also amazing. The care and time she took to clean and help Jessie was such a relief for us and Jessie smiled and enjoyed Ayesha more than any other care taker we have had. Such a comfort to have such a loving and caring staff. We appreciate all that she and others have done for us. Thank you.

At the time my husband was very ill and I was beside myself so we said we would try it. But then we found that the first RN who we talked to was wrong and told us many untruths. We were told to never use our own doctors , only the providers at Bosque Trails or Medicare would not pay for the services. My husband wanted to use his own doctors still, so they decided to dismiss us from Hospice. but before that they ordered PT for my husband. Arranged the company everything. We did not get a bill or told it would be paid for totally by us,not even insurance was used. So we have a large bill now we are told we need to pay and that they had no responsibility for the pt. Also the statement we got with the charges have the wrong dates on it. It is a mess and we found how they helped other people and they were not giving us the same services. Don't use them, they are not ready to run a Hospice yet.

Their level of care exceeds expectations, their compassion seems endless and their expertise of the dedicated people that make up the care team is outstanding. I have been a volunteer for over 10 years and have sewn many items and donated to a variety of organizations including numerous hospice groups but was most impressed with Hospice de la Luz. I found them to be the most receptive, gracious and truly concerned about the needs of their patients. I've worked closely with their wonderful volunteer coordinator Wilda Martinez and their outstanding Dr Lovette and together we created some very useful and unusual things. During that process I also saw just how much they truly care about the people they are helping and how dedicated they are to their wellbeing. I always realized how extremely important their work was when my husband was suddenly diagnosed with a terminal illness and ended up in the hospital it was paramount. It was during the "covid years" and patient information was impossible to get. I called Wilda Martinez in a panic, she in turn called Dr Lovette and she took over my husband's case and I knew he would get the best care available. I will be forever grateful for their help and compassion that got me through one of the hardest times of my life. So thank you Hospice de la Luz for all that you and your staff did and continue to do. Dottie

He'd just been put on Hospice, which was a term I winced to hear, seeing as he'd just turned 70, this wasn't supposed to happen so swiftly, but he was having trouble swallowing -- anything -- so it was inevitable. First, a visit from a case manager, of sorts, walked me through all of the basics, making end-of-life decisions on his care, my Power of Attorney, and most importantly, living arrangements -- we had to get him out of that hospital. "I know a great place, they rarely have a vacancy, but if you can get him into Night N Gail... Let me call and find out." There was a vacancy, we got him in, right away, and then the inevitable began to steadily, gracefully fade away. My father lived two solid years following his Hospice diagnosis, slowly getting stronger each month, eventually recovering enough to return to his old self, a firebrand Progressive who immensely enjoyed a daily conversation with a chaplain, doctor or pretty nurse -- all three provided by Hospice NM. When he passed, this organization not only held a private memorial service for him at the home, they also celebrated the lives of their lost patients at the Albuquerque Museum, about a year later, a memorial that clearly demonstrated their compassion and humanity for each and every person they're connected to. I was lucky to find them, and I found closure with their help.

I can't thank them enough for all the care and work that they provided for my husband. They care about their patients and also extended the care for me. Always asking how they cpuld help me!! I just want to shout out how good they are, and I learned so much from them as they were so kind to explain everything and why things were done. I also want to thank Moriah Smith for her loving care and her help with my nephew who needed a letter for his job back in Seattle noting he was caring for my husband as well. I just can't say the words enough on how much it means to have people like Tim and Iyesha care for our loved one and with such kindness and loving care. Thank you for the wonderful care and kindness. I wish we had more people in the world like your team. Thank you Vi Davis

A plate of rice for a meal several times. my entire body was healing from a massive accident with twelve breaks and lacerated organs. It was so irritating for them not to take nutrition seriously . Their answer: call door dash and pay for your own food. Kitchen staff retaliated even more and I felt unsafe. So much so I left before they suggested. I lost over thirty pounds in the four weeks I was there And many muscles healed in a deformed manner (even though they weren't even hit). One night 19 people on my wing alone returned their Food, so it wasn't just me. (thats more than half...and many people were on feeding tubes...so that makes that number even higher. Ive also been unable to get my medical records. You must request in person. Absurd when I dont live in that city And was told on check out (when I initially requested them) that they would be emailed to me!

I wanted…read moreto write a review of Heartland Hospice Care, to commend all of the nurses, counsellors, pastors and assistants for the compassion and care which was given to my wife who recently passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Every one of these caregivers demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and concern in their care of my wife and our family members. Thankfully, she only needed hospice care for three days before her home going, but her nurse, Jessica, was outstanding and patient in explaining every aspect of the treatment being given, and was quick to respond to my calls. I cannot begin to truly express how grateful I and my family are for the services provided by this entire group of dedicated people. The care they provided to my spouse and me made it possible to get through a very difficult experience, and I am most grateful to each and every member of the Heartland Hospice Team. I am an employee of BAYADA and I have to say, I've never worked anywhere like this before. At BAYADA they say that everything comes down to the Bayada Way which is based on 3 core values: Excellence, Reliability, and Compassion. What I've found since working with this organization is they really, truly, stand by it and walk the walk. They provide excellent training for all of their employees, and this training doesn't end when they start working. They provide continuing education for their home health aides, they offer in services and trainings frequently for their office staff as well. Bayada is always working to improve client experience, and regularly reach out to clients and find out what they can do better. One way they do this is by having clinical oversight by at least 2 Registered Nurses on staff overseeing the home health aids. The nurses visit clients once a month, every month. And the first assessment is totally free! Bayada nurses offer medication management and medication refills. No more filling mom and dads pill boxes yourself. Bayada also takes great care of their employees with competitive starting pay and a benefits package even for part time employees. That's why Bayada attracts the best caregivers. If you want the best for your loved ones, Bayada is the way to go.
