Hospice de la Luz took care of my mom in 2018 and came highly recommended. They did an awesome job so when my dad started to die, I arranged hospice with hospice de La Luz. Unfortunately, it's been a terrible experience. They've allowed my dad to be in screaming pain, they forced a Doppler even though my dad said, when he was still conscious, he did not want a Doppler! Why would you do a Doppler on a dying man? The nurse drove a wedge between myself and my sister because my sister is great at manipulating and convincing people of lies. The nurse would not make eye contact with me or talk to me. For 6 years, I have been my dad's patient advocate. I have taken him to every appointment and I have been with him during every important and crucial time. My sister has housed and fed him. She never took him anywhere. She doesn't know anything about medical and I have 12 years experience as an expert witness in medical forensics. Hospice de La Luz will be on my do not call list the rest of my life. I will let all of my colleagues know, 4000 Realtors, I will let all my clients know, I will post it on Facebook. No one should be screaming in pain on hospice. No one should be forced to have a Doppler when they are nearly comatose. What is wrong with you people? Where did you go wrong? Great memories, thanks for the great memories hospice de La Luz. You are not a hospice, you are a business.
Jessica is one of the worst nurses I have ever met. I have met and worked with doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, techs and lawyers. I have never had such a bad experience. Think twice before hospice de la Luz. Do your research, yes there will be good reviews. Look deep and there will be. read more
