I've been here many years ago! Probably over 10 years ago. I remember the food being good and I remember getting a bowl that wasn't on the main menu but posted on paper by the menu. It was pulled chicken bowl. Looks the menu changed a bit since I last visited. I built my own pulled chicken sandwich, it was just okay. They give you a ton of meat which is nice. I wish they had bbq sauce available at the tables if you dine or easy to grab more if needed. My mom got spicy wedges with her food. I unfortunately am not a fan of soggy food and the wedges were very soggy so I didn't care for that. Coleslaw wasn't my vibe either. I did get a banana cupcake to eat later. I ate it the next day and it was good! They have a decent size dining room to dine in.

I had the 2LB sampler for 2. I ordered the ribs and brisket with beans and spicy JoJo's. It also comes with 2 fresh rolls. I added a spicy sausage link. It was very good. More than enough food for 2 people. I ate at 5:00pm on a Sunday evening and there was a few people eating inside but the majority of the orders were to go. Music was iconic southern blues. Dining room was clean. A nice bonus is they have a sink in the dining room to wash your hands after eating. Would go back

This has been a staple since moving to the NW metro. We initially stopped after seeing it on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives when trying to find a decent brisket in the cities. This brisket keeps us coming back for more! 6 years and counting. We split a 1 pound sampler (brisket/pulled pork) and added a spicy sausage. This includes two meats, two sides, choice of bbq sauces (I believe 3), and two rolls. Brisket: fork tender with rendered fat and a smoke ring Pulled pork: juicy and flavorful Veggies: the star of the show for me with the aioli - sliced and smoked zucchini with carrots and a garlicky seasoned aioli Spicy Sausage: snappy casing with a spicy but manageable filling BBQ Sauce: the espresso is my favorite and pairs well with the brisket and pulled pork (although both are plenty flavorful without sauce) This place hits the spot every single time.

First time here and was very good barbeque. You order at the counter and they plate your food right there. We got the 1lb sampler to share with pulleed chicken and brisket. It came with 2 sides which we picked the baked beans and Mac and cheese. It also came with a couple rolls and sauce. We added a side of spicy wedges and pulled pork as well. The pulled chicken and pork were both delicious, so juicy and tender. I'm not a big fan of brisket but it was really enjoyed by the others. The baked beans were my favorite thing of the meal, absolutely delicious. Mac and cheese was just ok, was creamy but cheese flavor wasn't super prominent. We tried all the sauces and my personal fav was the pepper vodka sauce, I didn't find it to spicy. They were busy. Lots of people getting food to go but you can eat inside too.

I keep coming back for these ribs! Some of the best ribs I have had at a bbq place. Nice to have close to home! All of the sides I have tried have been very good as well, but these ribs are great! Gotta try them with the espresso sauce!

Still a wonderful place. Brisket always on point, pulled pork super juicy and tender, and the sausage with a nice kick. Not to forget that their smoked veggies with aioli will be one of the stars of the show.

Hubby and I came on a Friday evening and got to Alice's brisket sandwiches, potato salad, potato wedges, rice & beans, and Mac & cheese. We were HUNGRY. The staff was fairly friendly, it has a very small town feel and you can tell a lot of things have needed to be changed due to the pandemic. It's a bit wasteful with all of the small portioned reusable items - like packaged bbq sauce vs having the bottles at the table. The food was pretty mediocre, not sure if it was because it was late in the night but everything was like warm & pretty bland. The sandwich as a whole was alright but the hoagie was really good! Not sure I'd ever come back to be honest but it was a nice place to try out at least once!

I'm bumping Q Fanatic up - 5 stars! I've been back several times since my first review in 2014. I'm bumping them up from 4 stars to 5 stars. My experiences over the past 9 years have been great - consistently excellent meats and consistently awesome staff. LOW CARB: I have a new appreciation for Q Fanatic since switching to a low carbohydrate, carnivore eating style. I love that they sell meat by the pound. (I'm not forced to buy plant based sides.) My most recent favorites are the beef brisket and the hot links. And I really, really, really LOVE the giant selection of sauces. They obviously put a lot of effort into a big, impressive variety of house sauces...and my taste buds certainly love that they do it. I highly recommend that you check out the list of sauces and try a bunch of them. You won't be disappointed. Since my first review, Chef Guy Fieri also made a visit. They have a great signed photo of him in the front entryway. And one of his cool signed graffiti style stencils is on the wall behind the counter, next to the kitchen entrance. Cool! Thanks again for the great food and the friendly service, Q Fanatic! -Maxx

Family Picnic to go + extra 1/2 lb pulled pork. Family already started eating some!

Not a good BBQ place at all...virtually zero smoke flavor, no smoke ring, sauces are terrible.

Cost wise, it was actually quite affordable for a food truck and there's even an option for a big ol' bucket of lumpia for $36. The downside was that I didn't like them at all. They're sour, are they supposed to be sour? I've had other lumpia's before and they didn't taste like this. It tasted like the meat had gone off and soured and was used to make the lumpia but I honestly can't tell if that sour taste was intentional or not. The pork skewers could have been great, they just needed a hit of salt to bring out the flavor. The lechon, not a lot of flavor and the garlic fried rice also needed a bit more umph. The flan was okay and the pineapple drink was nice and pineappley but not for me.

We would bring our Hmong family here when they visit. I love the display of Hmong art, crafts and tools. Unfortunately, service has always been slow even on a weekday. I'm unsure why since workers do come around and check in. I've had their pho, laab, papaya salad, chicken wings etc. It's not memorable but it's Hmong food. Hoping they bring back waitressing for serving utensils, and dinnerware rather than having customers fetch their own water, foam plates or plastic ones. It's not appropriate to bring extended family here anymore when we have to tell them to get their own utensils and pho veggies from their service area. We prefer Pho 126 for large family dining or Boba & Tea Deli for Hmong food.
