Q Emissions is NOT permanently closed. I visited on Friday April 10th and it was business as usual. Super fast and friendly service for my emissions test. The waiting area is nothing fancy but for the amount of time spent there, it is fine and clean. read more

Very Polite, efficient, fast service. Great job. Thank you and God Bless. 4.22.26. I went there for state inspection. They were very knowledgeable and quick. Thank you again read more

Fast and friendly service. Older gentleman was so sweet and helpful. Will be going here for all my emissions test going forward

Fastest and easiest state inspection that I've ever done, fully recommend this place. Great customer service as well

Really not sure how this place got so many bad reviews. They only do inspections. I stopped in cause I was in the area, there wasn't a line, just one person ahead of me. The man working was very direct, no pleasantries but not malicious. The waiting area is very bare, but it gets the job done for the fact that you're not there for very long. And it was only $18.50!! I'd recommend this place read more

The person here are not professional at all my daughter took our diesel truck for inspection on 05/27/22. For diesel trucks the inspection is only $7.00 and he charge my daughter $25.50 she paid with card gave her the receipt from the inspection machine that said $7.00 not the one for the credit card. I have a very busy schedule but defently I will stop by with proof to show them how they can loose customer that have been going there for over 10 yrs. JUST FOR NOT BEEING HONEST ONLY FOR AN EXTRA $18.50. read more

Did I get my inspection sticker for my car? Yes. Was anything really inspected? No. So, if you are looking for a place that takes your money and doesn't really do their job, then look no further. I went in here because it's convenient and I needed an inspection sticker, I was over a month the expiration. I drove up, gave the guy my insurance and went in the "waiting room". First, the waiting room is disgusting, dirty, and quite sad. It looks like they are only there temporarily, but that isn't the case (see photos). Next, I sat (I wasn't even sure if sitting on the nasty furniture was hygienic) and watched them do their inspection. I use the word inspection is the absolute loosest terms possible. I saw a list of items on a poster that should be inspected, the vast majority of which the guy who was at my car never looked at. He drove my car around the building, back in, stuck a sticker on the windshield and then took my money. According to the poster the following things should be checked: emissions (not done), gas cap (nope!), lights (yes, he turned them on), brakes (he did drive it), windshield wipers (he never turned them on), signals (never turned them on), horn (um, I think I would have heard it), etc... I could go on and on. Basically, I paid my money and got a sticker. The whole point of this process is to catch problems in vehicles before they are hazards on the road. I wonder how many hazardous cars have rolled out of this place with a lovely new unearned sticker. In addition to their lack of inspection, the guys in here need some manners. They were gossiping about some friend or coworker and swearing up a storm. If I am paying for a service, I expect that service and I also expect to have it done without having to listen to someone's potty mouth. After I paid, he gave me my receipt. He pointed at my car and said I was done. I asked if I was supposed to walk through the work area and he said yes. There is a huge sign that says that their insurance will not cover customers in the work area, but he insisted I walk through there to get to my car. Ohhhh the best part! I told my husband I went there. He reminded me that he had gone there the month before. His car died and wouldn't start. They had to jump it to even get it to start again and they still said he passed inspection!! All he ended up needing is a new battery, but they didn't know that. They are truly pathetic. Don't go here. Even if it may be easy because it's quick since they don't actually inspect. Go give your money to someone who earns it. read more

They are super rude. I'm not sure what happened to old management, I'm a disabled vet and the treatment here is horrible. No hello, no thank you, just rude and they left my car open and running without telling me where it was. Nobody was around it was outside running with the door open read more

Very racist crappy service. We were standing outside and he stopped the inspection midpoint and decided he did not want to service us.

As bad as it gets. Staff here is incredibly unfriendly every time I come. Would it hurt to be polite and friendly with your customers who are keeping you in business? The vibes they give off make me feel like I should apologize to them for bringing my car to get inspected. Also, they need to be more tidy in their work -- one of the times I brought my car to get inspected, they left a bunch of shreds on the dash from when they removed the old inspection sticker. Just horrible I tell you. I've been coming here because it's convenient, but enough is enough. I will be taking my cars elsewhere. Good riddance. read more

I been using this place for about 8 years to get my inspection sticker. With at least 2 service techs working at all time, the service is very quick. No complain, since all my cars always pass the inspection. read more

Went early Monday morning for an Inspection. Only waited 10 mins & was on my way. Mohammed was quick started on my car immediately after I walked in. He was pleasant and professional. Thank you!!! read more

First time for an inspection since Texas did away with the inspection sticker and I have to say that was the fastest inspection I've ever gotten. I was in and out in 10 minutes @ 1pm on a Saturday! I'm not sure if the old staff was fired or what but my experience was not like any of the people that left negative reviews. I will def be back next year! read more

Been coming here for 10+ years, I would even drive from Dallas to get my car inspected here. Top notch service and always in and out, which I truly appreciate!!! Thanks for always taking care of my car!! read more

This is the worst customer experience I've probably ever had. I don't remember a time when I was treated so poorly. I came in here, and yes, they do a quick inspection as Melissa said. I don't know if they are thorough, because I was in the waiting room. When I was done, and after I'd paid them (of course) the staff was very discourteous to me as I tried to throw away a few pieces of paper and a napkin out of my car. Whether they were lazy or just arrogant, they refused to let me throw my trash away in their trash can (I guess they wanted to make sure they didn't have to walk any extra steps any sooner than they had to to empty it). They sneered, "this is our trash. you need to go to the dumpster with that." Then, as I turned away amazed at how rude they were being, they yelled after me, "this isn't a car wash." When I reminded them that they were in a service industry and that their customer service skills needed some improvement, they took the initiative to begin arguing with me instead, and even as i was walking away, they were going off about how they weren't going anywhere, etc. Well, they're right. With that kind of scumbag attitude and lazy arrogant personalities, they aren't going anywhere in life. I feel sorry for them (actually, it was mainly the fat Hispanic Richard, with the bluetooth in his ear the whole time), because they must hate their lives so much to be so rude to everyone. But this is one business that would be good except for the horrible employees. read more

Terribly rude and unfriendly staff. Unacceptable. Get a job where you don't have to deal with people for crying out loud. It's not that hard to say hello and thank you. read more

I was in and out without a hassle. I had a much better experience than everyone who has left reviews. Definitely going to be a loyal customer. read more

i bought almost a new car from other city in texas, went to transfer it but they needed emission certificate although the sticker was valid till end of this year. i went to q emission station # 2P 44895 at 7020 hwy 6. mr Richard checked first wipers , tires and indicators, brake lights and than went for emission and after 5 minutes he said your car is ready, i went outside he handed me the report which said failed due to one tire wear and passenger side wiper need replacement. this car is a bmw series and equipped with on board car data and alerts you when any thing reaches safety measures, also the tire was a stapni and new tire was in trunk i told him and also i said i will go and check wiper and replace it, but he was such a ill mannered person and rude, he didn't listen to me, i was pissed off as i had taken off that day and wanted to wrap things, i have the report which doesn't say any thing fail. but he put overall fail.. the worst place i have ever seen, my question is that first thing he checked wipers and tires, he should have told me that this needs to be done before going for main inspection. i recommend everyone not to go to Q emission. read more

stay away from this place the guy took his time looking under the hood attempting to sweettalk his way to justify leaks and fail me which is totally unrelated to state safety inspection furthermore while in the waiting room I overheard them laughing and talking very hard on how they made other customers pissed off read more

I have been taking all my vehicles to get inspected there for 5 years now and I have never once complained that they were too fast and that they passed my car. Plus, it has been the same owner since I first started going. Different people working, but none the less, same service.First of all mellisa, every vehicle inspection sticker has to be registered through Texas at the time the sticker is placed on your vehicle, by scanning the bar code on the issued sticker. Every month a state trooper representative audits their system. If ONE sticker is not accounted for, the station can be fined or loose their license. Now, to the emission test. In order for the inspector to issue the sticker, they have to complete the WHOLE test for the final screen to pop up for them to scan the sticker. If your vehicle is a 96 and newer, the type of test they do is an obd test which stands for "on board diagnostic". Their computer communicates with your vehicle's on board computer. This only takes 20-30seconds. So you probably were to busy taking pictures of the shop to realize that they have completed the test. The inspection of the vehicle should only take 8 to 10 mins. It seems to me that you would not have been pleased with anything they would have done. If they did the opposite of what you are complaining about, they should have taken a lot longer then find something to fail you for. I go there because they are quick and that's what I'm looking for. I don't care if the shop looks old, I'm there for 5 mins and I'm gone with my sticker. read more

Not only are these guys rude but they are a rip off. My brake light was on and only needed a little brake fluid to fix it. They could see my brake light was on when they started my car but still did the inspection, took my money, and then told me I failed. Also, they didn't tell me I could come back in 15 days with the issue fixed before I left. I took my car to a trusted mechanic and he told me they should not have failed you but if you get this fixed within 15 days they have to reinspect the car for free per Texas State Law. Again, they never told me this. When I brought the pads with a lifetime warranty back to Autozone, they said you didn't really need new pads just as my mechanic said. They were kind enough to honor the warranty and refund my money. When I returned to deal with the rude Asian guy at Q Emissions, he didn't care that his rude African American Associate didn't tell me about the 15 days after telling me my vehicle failed an inspection. When they reinspected my car the African American associate was running his mouth the whole time as I recorded his arrogance on video. No one should ever go to this place. These guys are crooks. This Hispanic guy with a goatee was a jerk as well. read more
