Dr. Mackay is an excellent dentist that she has the most experiences, when I consult her, and she take my son right away and inform me that how to fix or what to do in the future. Dr. Mackay just a wonderful dentist and very knowledgeable. I really happy that she is step in to my son's case and put me in the comfort zone that I had been worried because I am a mother like everyone that concern about own children's health and wellbeing. The dentist here is nice-BUT in 3 years she's almost always "out of town" when I call for an appointment. I had pain in a front tooth and my previous dentist had put a material on it to help. I asked for that to be done here and after multiple appointments I was finally able to get a 3 minute application done. I called today due to the material chipping off and was told that- guess what... she's outta town for 2 weeks. I'm finding a new dentist. And the staff that I spoke to on the phone was giving me about 10% of her attention. I had to give her my name 4 times and wait 30 seconds at a time for her to even acknowledge that she was hearing me. Bad service. I'm done. read more

We really like Q Dental. It's taken some time but it looks like Dr. MacKay found staff that'll be around for a while; it's nice to see familiar faces. The office seems more streamlined. They are all very helpful and considerate of how the patient is doing. I trust Dr. MacKay implicitly. They make sure the teeth are done right and to complete satisfaction. This place has given me some of the most incompetent service I've ever seen. They literally sent my mom to the hospital for giving her too much anesthetic (and avoided a lawsuit by giving credit for further work my family needed), and one time one of the dentist assistants told me "You're either very stressed or depressed!" when looking at my teeth. read more

I took my 8 year old daughter to see Dr Mackay at Q Dental. My daughter was very nervous, but the dental hygienist (unfortunately, I didn't get her name) talked to her and told her what she was about to do every step of the way. She used a camera hooked up the laptop to take pictures for the Dr and she let my daughter watch, which fascinated her. Dr Mackay herself was just as sweet with my daughter, explaining to her the importance of good dental hygiend, and congratulating her for no cavities. She made such an impression on my daughter, emphasizing the need to lay off the candy, that my daughter has limited herself in eating in. I never thought that would happen! Her sweet tooth is almost as bad as mine. The receptionist was also very friendly. She called me and asked me to reschedule, but it was for a day/time that I work, so I couldn't. She called me a second time, and asked me to come in earlier. That I could do and so I did. She was very grateful for it. Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and gracious. I have been going to Q dental since I was 5 years old. My whole family also goes to Q dental, including both my parents who have been divorced for 17 years, lol. The staff and doctors are very nice and informative. They never make you feel bad for any issues, only there to help. They also don't change an arm and a leg! I went somewhere closer to home and was quoted $3000 for a basic root canal!! Q dental charged me $300! You can't find another dentist that takes the time these doctors do. This my first time writing a review and what can I say about Q Dental first off my girlfriend referred me so I looked at my insurance and they were in our network so I was like let's give it a try cause I seen the work they did to my girlfriend teeth and I told myself I want that kinda work done so I walked in to Q dental and the staff desk area were just very helpful and patient with me cause knowing I wasn't the type to step foot in a dentist cause my fear of it I don't know why but as soon I sat down with the hygienist she knows who she is lol she was attentive and she got right to on work it. She made my experience very welcome and my fear on going to the dentist at easy with her personality and her field of expertise made everything more relaxing as for Dr R he also jumped in gave a helping hand that's what I call team work at its finest. What else more can I say about the staff at Q dental they make my visit easy like boil eggs lol I surely recommend this place to anyone. read more

I normally do not do reviews however I was so impressed by Qdental I felt the need to share. It wasn't until I became a patient of Dr.MacKay's that I realized dental work does not have to be painful! She is so gentle and takes extra care with the numbing injections and procedures. That alone is reason enough to keep me going back never mind that the office staff are friendly.
