I called from out of town and they said they wouldn't see him. There's a dentist office on every corner, so avoid this one if you can.

**Extremely Disappointing Experience - Complete Disregard for Our Time and Our Request**…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but after what happened at Smile Big Pediatric Dentistry, I feel parents deserve to know. When I scheduled appointments for my two children, I specifically requested a **female dentist**. This was not a last-minute request,it was discussed during scheduling and documented in our file. Had the office informed me they could not accommodate it, I would have happily scheduled another day or gone elsewhere. Instead, when we arrived, a **male dentist** came in to examine my children. I politely explained that we had requested a female dentist and that this information should already be in our chart. He acknowledged the mistake and left. From that point on, the experience only became worse. The female dentist was notified, yet we were left waiting for **nearly four hours** while patient after patient was called back ahead of us. During that time, I approached the staff **twice** and explained that this entire situation resulted from the office failing to honor the request they had already accepted when the appointment was booked. Rather than taking responsibility or making any effort to correct their mistake, we were simply told to keep waiting. After four hours, my children were exhausted, hungry, restless, and understandably upset. No child should be expected to sit in a waiting room for that long because of an office's scheduling error. We ultimately had no choice but to leave without either child being seen. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I cannot understand is the complete lack of accountability, communication, empathy, or respect for our time. The issue was never the initial mistake,it was the way it was handled afterward. A pediatric dental office should understand that children have limits. Making two young children wait for hours because the office failed to honor a documented request is simply unacceptable. I sincerely hope Smile Big Pediatric Dentistry reviews its scheduling procedures and treats future families with more professionalism and respect. No parent should have to waste half a day and leave with two disappointed children because an office refused to correct its own mistake.

I had my exam and cleaning last month. The front office staff is extremely professional, friendly and making an appointment was easy. The dental practice is very nice and welcoming (and the restroom is amazing). The hygienist was friendly and gentle and did an amazing job at the cleaning. The dentist did a very thorough exam (so much better than the last practice I was going to) Today I went in to get 3 fillings Not only did she explain step by step but she also made sure I was at ease the entire time. The dental assistant was very knowledgeable and let us know what to expect before the doctor came in. Dr. Colon was able to calm a two year old down and had him relaxed and cooperating throughout the visit. While they don't have the largest lobby, the back of the office where the hygienists and dentist actually work is very large and spacious, with several rooms for patients - which is probably what matters most. We had a great check-up so we can't wait for our follow-up appointment.

They bought my house a few years ago and have refused to return items we left at the house, INCLUDING MAIL! We asked for them to do so through our realtor and they declined surrender of such items. That was 2 yrs ago. As of early August 26' my most recent issue came from them in the form of a mail fraud issue again. Unfortunately, I had over $150 worth of items mailed to my old address (their home). I've asked for the items back and again, no response and refusal of surrender. Clearly, they are criminals interfering with my personal mail/items and cannot be trusted. I would NEVER entrust my children to them if they cannot even be kind to adults. And these are "DOCTORS"...with a business!?? Smh. Not smart ones.
