Great place. Was in the area trying food at Uno's Pizzeria and wanted to try out some local hookah spots. The hookah flavor was great, multiple tvs playing sports, bar options we're plentiful, and music selection was amazing. Not sure if everyone knows this, I'm a big hookah lover. The shisha here is ok. You can tell it's a lot of starbuzz generic shisha. The seating is not to comfortable. However it's not bad. Not a place for groups. A friend or two is alright. Also BIG no-no for me... they leave the hookahs from the previous night out until the next day. That's horrid. The germ levels are out of this world for me. So make sure if you go there, you're aware of what the situation is. read more

They play a variety of music in the span of one evening, from edm to r&b to old school rap and 90's songs. Over the summer they had an ice tube that you can add but I believe they got rid of that. There is always a guy carrying around coals to reheat your stones, so no need to worry about that. In the summer they open up the front windows and is a cool spot to chill at but in the winter, they really need to keep the doors closed-the cold breeze is quite disturbing. Other than that, nice place to relax on bell. Will probably return in the warmer months. read more

This is my lowkey go to hookah spot. The hookah is good (way better than Steinway), drinks are good, and it's a nice environment with good music. I have never had any problems coming here. Only thing is it seems to always be only one bartender every time I come here. The service is still awesome but I do feel bad because she be bouncing all over the place. A friend and I stopped in a few weeks ago. Pyramids has a pretty chill atmosphere, but nothing much in the way of décor. The television screens take away from the vibe, and makes it feel more like a sports bar than a lounge. The night we went, it was mostly couples trying to find a dark and intimate space to talk and kiss. (We ourselves got pretty cozy with each other on the leather seats by the windows.) The hookah flavors we ordered could have been tastier and stronger, though luckily we didn't have that problem with the drinks. But our server literally did the bare minimum for our table. My friends and I went here to chill on a Saturday night. First of all there was a party going on in the inside and they did not manage to close the doors. The music inside was getting mixed with the music playing outside and it was so unpleasant. Second of all the kabob was cold right when we got it and I was as hard as a rock. It looked like it was re heated from 2 hours prior we ordered it. And when we tried to explain it to the chef he was not listening to us and arguing with us. Popping place to be. It's no Astoria but will do for Bayside. Great place to catch a game and just chill with friends. They have a Dj spinning. So the music is decent... Prices on the hookah aren't bad. They used to have mystique ice hoses =T . You can order fresh fruit for the hookah though.Coals last long and the hookah doesn't get harsh. Place can get packed on the weekend nights. Their cocktails are on point. Nice and strong! The service here could use some attention. They do add gratuity to your bill so don't tip twice unless the service was that extraordinary, but I doubt it as i have seen many patrons remark on this. When this place first opened it was spotless, attractive, cool vibe.. It has such great potential ! But now it's filthy. Go during the sunlight and every couch has burn holes. Not one table or couch wiped down, nor bar. Furniture drenched with drink splats, food crumbs from the night prior. I guess when your here at night the dirt gets unnoticed in the black filled interior. With mature service orientated management this place would be a gold mine and quiet enjoyable. But instead it caters to kids (looking to buy $5 drinks) named truffle butter. Hope they shape up or they too will be another vacant spot on bell. read more

Who stops serving cocktails before 1AM- this place. Was having a wonderful time with friends until I tried ordering my second cocktail and I was told they were not serving any longer! I like the fact that there is finally a hookah spot on bell blvd. They usually play all hip hop music, wish they would mix it up a bit sometimes. Also it's sometimes a little too loud for the day time. Depending on the server/bartender, either it's good service or just the opposite. Last time I went I had to keep getting up to get a drink because the bartender was glued to her phone. They also include automatic gratuity so be aware of that. I think it's illegal to do that for 6 people and under honestly. The food has been good every time. With better management, this place has potential. read more

Jennifer! Hands down best bartender! Will make you the best shots and drinks ever! Drinks/beers and hookah reasonably priced. Hookah was great, the guy constantly checked up on us to make sure coal/flavor etc was good. When I went they had limited ice tips so we had to wait for one. Dj was great also, played a little bit of everything including some old school which was awesome! The wait for a table of 10+ wasn't long considering it was a Saturday night. If you can, give them a heads up before you get in. Everyone works with you, and is very friendly. A friend ordered some finger foods which went quick so I imagine they were delicious. The only downfall is they close early. I believe 1 or 2. Hence if you're looking for a long night you can always start here. read more

I experienced the WORST service ever coming here. The security is extremely rude and clearly incapable of doing their job. They scanned my I.D and the machine told them that my I.D was already scanned for the night and they refused to let me in. Someone else was using my I.D as a fake and I was the one paying for it. Great for most occasions. Whether in a party of two or twenty, you will have a fun evening. Prices are very reasonable, and whoever said they paid 25% in gratuity, gratuity is actually 18% and that is pretty much the standard for any hookah bar you go to in nyc, oh and there's no such thing as a hookah fee (perhaps you were mistaken). Awesome bartenders any night of the week, but I must say that Jenn comes up with some INCREDIBLE drinks. Overall a very friendly atmosphere and you must take advantage of the happy hour, believe me you won't be disappointed of the discounts on drinks as well as hookah and food. Went on a Friday night around 8:30/9 and quickly got a seat at a corner table. It was a perfect time because it began filling up shortly after. The music was fun, the fries were delicious and the hookah flowed nicely. The staff was also very cool. The only thing that was annoying were the table of girls next to us that were snappchatting every breath they took. Will be coming back soon though! read more

With the exception of the one sweet bartender, everyone else in the place really acts like they're doing you a favor. Prices are super high and the service is below mediocre. Half of the time you're choking on the hookah Cos it's poorly made and when u ask them to fix it they either ignore you or take 5,000 years. This is the first hookah lounge I've been to that never refills the coals or waits till there's no coal left. The drinks were good, the service was good and the music had was the perfect vibe. Its also nice that the front windows are wide open so you can enjoy the nice summer evening. The price is also really reasonable. Its a perfect place to go and chill with friends or to bring a date. I am totally a fan and will be back. Super loud but fun. I came her for a friend's birthday outing and I was surprised. Drinks were nicely mixed and the hookah was pretty good. Never knew this place existed as Bell blvd is packed with so many bars and lounges. Prices were reasonable too, I believe it was $14 for a hookah and $4 for a beer. I came here with friends with the desire to dances and drink. There was music and it was great. The DJ was the reason I stayed. The drinks were limited. The excuse was that they were going through some kind of renovation.... there were hardly anyone there. It was after 9:30pm on a Saturday....I choose this place because it was close to work. There was a hookah in a corner but it did not look appealing.... I would try again after a few months just to see the renovations made. It's just so close to work. Summer Is coming . We stopped by to smoke hookah after we grabbed dinner next door around 7 on a Friday night. Ordered a fruit cup flavored hookah or something along those lines. The hookah was pulling poorly and the flavor tasted strange, not really fruity as I expected. Took us a while to get someone to fix it. The main issue i had was with the service. After we receive the hookah, the waitress returns for our drink orders. I order a draft from the menu and my boyfriend orders a coffee. When she returns, she's apologizes and states we don't have that beer or coffee! My boyfriend and I found that strange... What establishment doesn't have coffee? Especially when there's like 4 different ones on the menu. So I order a Riesling. She checks, they're out of Riesling so she apologizes and states they need to update their menu which I understand because she can't do anything about their inventory. My boyfriend then asks for a bud light but she suggests tea for my boyfriend which was weird... I'm not sure if they didn't have bud light which is such a basic beer or if she was still responding to the place not having coffee. She suggested green tea so he just agreed to make it easier. I then selected an ale on tap which they had. We made it work but we were put off by our overall experience and was not a fan of the service. read more

If its for family, friends or coworkers, this is the spot. By far the best Shisha/Hookah lounge in the area and a great bar scene. A modern twist to an old tradition of water pipes. I have been here at almost all times of the hours of operation and this place has never disappointed. Great food. Great drinks. Great Shisha. Service is frickin impeccable and the ambience is just very relaxed. They have gorgeous tvs all throughout so there is no problem at all if you want to go out and watch the game but also want to have a good night life experience.
