    Greek Salad

I didn't get to eat inside, I took it to go. I had wings, sliders & a Greek salad. I have no idea why I decided to order a salad from a hookah lounge but I did. It wasn't great but it wasn't that bad either. The wings & a sliders however were really good. The ambiance inside was nice, it was dark but didn't get to take pics.

My issue is with the drinks. They aren't strong & taste like mixer only.

The drinks weren't good We all had to swap our drinks 2 times to still end up disappointed so after the second try we gave up giving them a chance tried to order the liquor straight w/ the chaser on the side but obviously at that point they skimped on the alcohol & basically gave a shot for $18 . Everything else was good. Great Ambiance, food , hookah & DJ. Service was kind of lengthy but not terrible our waitresses were very kind & hospitable.

Dont book online. Apparently its not working. A friend booked reservations online for us and when we got there the hostess stated its not working. We were glad it was empty and still was able to be seated. The outdoor area in the back was dope. The food was good. I ordered immediately (im the greedy friend) i had garlic shrimp w mashed potatoes, and chicken tacos. I enjoyed the food. Our drinks were uneventful. 1st choice was frozen margaritas and they were weak. We then got long islands & something else w henny. I dont even drink henny and left hours later sober. Id pregame before coming. For a bill over $300+ id expect to be a lil buzzed and drunk dialing somebody son lol The hookah was fine no complaints there. The staff was friendly. Id return to this establishment.

Was looking for a last minute spot and was pleasantly surprised with Hush. We didn't make reservations, just two of us and there were seats at the time we went. We sat in the Garden which we loved. It was not cold since it appeared to be an outside space but covered overhead. The atmosphere of the overall place, indoor or the garden section was awesome. The drinks were great! Not weak or anything. The food I did like as well. The waitress was definitely helpful when it came to ordering and attentive too. There was also by 11pm a belly dancer that performs too which is also cool. This was a Friday night, so of course the later it was the more packed it was getting. I would come back to this location! Great experience.

I came here on a Saturday night for a calm vibe. The place was not too packed, but it was definitely busy. There were a bunch of people celebrating their birthday so it was a lively crowd, plus there was a DJ who kept the energy flowing. I came mostly for the hookah and drinks, but ended up getting food as well. For the hookah, we got the Love 66 which is a favorite of mine outside of my go to of blueberry mint. We had a refill on the hookah, and I will say the initial hookah was not as good as the second, but overall it was just okay. I've definitely had better and worst. As for the drinks, in my opinion the drinks were good. Not the strongest I've had but very good nonetheless. I ordered a Dusse sidecar, and the first one came with a side of hair. We brought it to the staff's attention and the issue was quickly resolved. As for food, I got the chicken sliders, which were surprisingly good. They were a little greasy, but perfect for a night of drinking. During the night, they had a show with dancers (belly dancing or something similar) and it was definitely an interesting addition to the night. However, I felt the show went on for too long and I was definitely ready for the DJ to come back on. Speaking of the DJ, he was a vibe and played all of the songs you wanted to hear and all of the mixes you've probably never heard of. All in all I would come back, it was a cool vibe with a nice aesthetic.

Excellent food , well seasoned I had the vegetables tofu with spinach and kale.

Great food and good service. Definitely worth trying . I enjoyed the food. Thumbs up!

    Halloween Aesthetics was cute

The vibe, aesthetics, service and food were all on point! I enjoyed my little drinky drink (Pink Pussy). It was sweet and have you that "Ima feel nice" feeling afterwards l. It wasn't strong; it was just right. My beef nachos were sooooooooooo good. The beef chunks were just right. They had a live DJ who was very cultured (I was in my seat vibing the entire time).

Chicken Nachos, Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks, Classic Mojito.

The servers were great but the food didn't hit the mark. We ordered a classic mojito pitcher and the drink was strong! The chicken in the nachos were over cooked and dry. Onion rings and mozzarella sticks were alright.

Under new management but same menu

Loved this place and will continue to come back every Saturday…read more I came here specifically to listen to jazz. Every Saturday night, they host a jazz night, starting at 8pm. I love jazz and thought I should stop by and see if it's any good. I was so surprised at how great it was. Going to Chowk, you'll first notice a few things. It feels a bit gimmicky. It's partially the decor, partially the plant wall thing, partially the neon sign. The entire place is set up in a way so that every pic you might post on social media would look great. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's a vibe. The shape of the place makes it feel a bit like a railroad apt. Bar is on the right as you come in, with a couch set up between the windows and the bar. On the left is long wall seating. Small tables as well with stools on the other side. At the far end is a good size stage with a jumbo screen behind it. I looked at their cocktail menu and decided to get a "My Name Is." It was delicious and it's the only cocktail I've gotten on the three visits there. It's a Nepali bar and I've also had one of their Nepali beers which was also good. In regard to the jazz, it was phenomenal. I felt somewhat bad that they don't have the crowd (yet) that they deserve. When you go, there's no doubt you're in the presence of greatness, that these musicians have practiced their entire lives to bring this to you and you're able to just sit there and enjoy it. I felt truely blessed. The staff here is chill and kind and are appreciative of patrons. I can't wait to go back for more. Highly recommend as just a chill vibe cocktail bar and highly recommend for the jazz.

Paradise Lost is a speakeasy tiki bar located on 2nd Ave in the East Village. A friend & I went…read morethere after having dinner at Spicy Moon a few blocks away. We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Paradise Lost accepts groups of 8 or less, unless you are requesting to book the space for a private event. Ages 21+ paradiselost.nyc @paradiselostnyc Paradise Lost is open everyday - 5pm-2am.

The drinks were very interesting and creative. The seawater martini I will say was a bit too strange for my taste but I still thought it was good. Service was very good as well. Would definitely recommend to visit if you like gothic stuff and tiki bars.
