The variance being 200 percent!!! which is totally ludicrous in my opinion. I contacted Cruz AC and Electric a local vendor here in Humble. They sent out this fella named Travis. Looks like ZZ Tops younger brother. This man was patient, listened to my needs, and most importantly, did NOT try to up-sell or get me to purchase something I did not need. In fact his recommendations saved me money. He stayed as long as it took, there was no rush, and it was because of this man that I purchased two units from Cruz. He represented the company in a concise and professional manner. Its obvious that he was not a polished salesman but a technician that was well qualified and a thorough knowledge of the product. I purchased 2 Trane units. My existing AC's were still working, one was 17 years old still using R22, the other also a Rudd a bit newer. I would be remiss in not adding a comment on the two young men doing the install. Their names are Mario Reyes and Zack Pantoya. They did and outstanding job on the install. They put tarps all in our home covering the floor as they made numerous trips up and down from the attic. All debris and mess was cleaned up. I am a construction professional with over 35 years of experience as an elevator installer-tech, Supt. Project Manager..... And I can sum up the installation in one word CRAFTSMANLIKE You want a good install? Hire this company. Even a crappy cheap ac works well with a good install, I put in Trane units. The AC is one half of the equation, the other is the install. They did it right. Feel free to contact me if any questions.

Update: More problems from the initial setup…read more After being gone for a work trip, I came home to a flooded attic where the AC unit sat. Given the fact I still havent heard from the owner Henry of TAR from my previous issue with the main AC board, I called another repair company (Environmental Air Systems). This was the same company that came and out fixed the previous issue where my thermostats were not communicating with the unit. The reason was because the board was fried due to poor installation from TAR. Back to the most recent issue, appears there is a clog in the drain pipe near a bathroom sink. So how did the unit keep running (and flooding) vs shutoff and/or go into the backup drain pan? Well that's because TAR never installed the wiring of the SafeT shut off piece (see pic). It was placed on the pipe but upon a close inspection, I lifted the piece only to find the wires wrapped as if they went into the unit but sadly never were installed. The level of professionalism with their initial service keeps getting worse. And worst, I'm sure I'll never hear from Henry or TAR.

A few weeks ago I noticed that we had something that looked like a water leak spreading outward from one of our ceiling sprinkler heads. I called and informed the company and they informed me that no one could come check my issue for over a week. They did ask if it was actively leaking and it was not. So I thought, well what else can I do. This is the company that installed my system. If it is leaking then they will have to repair it. I asked them when they could come to check my problem and they confirmed a date and time 10 days later. This morning the company finally sent a service technician by the name of Tim. He was very professional and looked at the sprinkler head. It took no more than 15 minutes to determine that the area around the sprinkler head was dry and that there was not an active leak. The reason I am giving 1 out of 5 stars is the cost of the 15 minute service call. I would give zero stars if possible. This company is trying to charge me $225 for the 15 minute service. That is equivalent to $900/hr!!!The company is 5.6 miles from my house so the distance to make a house call was not a factor. I tried to appeal to the manager (Ashton), but he informed me that the owner (Dom) would not budge on the ridiculous charge. I rarely take the time to review organizations online, but when you feel cheated, you have to share with other consumers to help each other out. If I happen to build another house, I will definitely insure that my builder does not use Oasis Fire Protection.
