    Allied Fire Protection

We have many locations and use different vendors for backflow inspections. The price is typically…read more$75 - $125. Allied charged me $375, and getting an explanation was like pulling teeth. Don't expect any communication from this horrible company. Terrible reviews are completely justified. Avoid at all costs. Update 4/6: Received two quick responses from corporate personnel. Both were extremely professional, and I now believe that my negative experience was due to a new employee with poor communication skills. My invoice was revised accordingly. Allied employs multi-licensed technicians, which drives up their labor costs and makes their pricing much higher for simple things like backflow inspections. Had I spoken with a different Allied rep, I believe they would have disclosed their pricing and referred me to a lower-cost (and lower credentialed) company. If I need more complex work done in the future, I would consider Allied. I believe they have an honest company culture, but it's hard to execute at 100% all the time.

Our experience with Allied Fire Protection was a complete failure from start to finish. Throughout…read more2025, we dealt with constant system issues--false alarms, ongoing errors, and repeated service calls that never resulted in an actual fix. Multiple technicians were sent out, yet problems were consistently left unresolved or pushed off. During a winter freeze, the system failed and resulted in over $500,000 in property damage, with no alarm activation or monitoring notification. Even after that level of failure, they have refused to take any responsibility whatsoever. We continued to be billed for service calls while the system remained unreliable. Communication was poor, response times were inconsistent, and technicians showed up unannounced. Customer service was dismissive and, frankly, indifferent. We replaced them in October 2025, and the new provider identified and fixed the issues immediately--something Allied never managed to do. Serious lack of accountability, poor service, and extremely costly results. Avoid if you value reliability.
