When he called a while back and said that he was leaving the old company and going to expand his part time renovation business into a full time venture, I told him that I would be happy to give him a try when I needed some help. So, when I needed a new garage door opened installed, I gave him a call. He came and looked at the job and advised that it would be no problem to get it done for me. We set the date and time and his guys showed up as scheduled and installed the new springs and garage door opener without issue. JC followed up to make sure that everything was completed to my satisfaction and to give him a call if I needed anything else. Quick and painless, completed as agreed and all for a great price!!! I highly recommend giving Green Leaf a call. I'm sure that you will be happy with their services.

Tuesday came and went and no call so I called on Wednesday asking for the estimate and was told I would get a call back which never came. So I called back on Thursday, they took down my info again and said someone would call back...few hours passed and nothing. So I called again and was told that the person that came and saw our house was terminated! That made me feel uncomfortable since he was in my house. They were apologetic but the whole situation just didn't sit well with us, we decided to go with another painter.

Katy Construction and Remodeling installed a stand alone tub in our master bathroom. We encountered…read morea problem after the job was completed. When we turned the water on to fill the tub, the water leaked from underneath the tub. It turns out the tub drain is completely disconnected and snapped. Tub is not secured and moves whenever any amount of force is applied. In addition to plastic nut snapping, accordion style drain pipe is not connected in to trap adapter, but rather loosely is sitting inside the pipe like an air break on a washing machine. We reached out to Jason multiple times to address the issue. His response was the tub is installed correctly. However, we were told by several plumbers that the tub was definitely not installed correctly. Very disappointing experience with this business.

(See my review of how terrible they were - especially their owner - by looking up reviews of Space City Plumbing.) 5M Plumbing came to the rescue and the father and son team definitely knew what they were doing and they saved the day. They fixed the broken pipe, helped to clean up all of the mess created by the first crew. I will always call them FIRST in the future. (God willing, we don't have any more plumbing issues like that one again any time soon!) I have even greater respect for good plumbers and what they must endure in plumbing emergencies. If you are happy waiting in all day for the repair crew, only for them to no-show yet again, then take a risk and hire them. Stone Gate replaced my entire roof after Ike, with a 30 year guarantee, which is worthless, as they don't Return calls. After promising me a partial refund to go towards the cost of all the damage caused, as a direct result of the roof malfunctions, they changed their mind, while the salesman repeatedly lied to me, about the check "coming soon". Avoid, and do not hire.

This is the second back porch/cover they have built for us. The last one was at our previous home,…read more20 years ago. This time we also had them build us a kitchen island inside. Every job has been exceptionally well done, and we'll definitely hold them in high regard for our next project. Pros: They simply do great work, meeting or exceeding expectations every step of the way. Expert craftsmanship and tons of experience. Project managers take the hassle out of dealing with individual contractors. (David and James were great to work with.) They also anticipated concerns before I needed to mention them and even replaced some siding that I had damaged before. Cons: Among the most expensive options, but you do get what you paid for. Original estimate was about 20% less than the final bill. We paid significantly for upgrades to the counter top, the decking, and the porch ceiling. The estimate was based on the cheapest options evidently. The lesson I learned is to ask for those specifics at the time of the bids. (Possible other bidders did the same.) Had to hire a separate company to complete the gutters. They initially said they'd move it from the original roof line to the new one. In the end, they realized they were unable to do it and unwilling to refund anything. One mitigating factor is that another section needs to be built from scratch, so a gutter guy was going to be needed anyway. They don't do painting! Fortunately, we discovered Painting Solutions Houston who did a great job.
