Katy Construction and Remodeling installed a stand alone tub in our master bathroom. We encountered a problem after the job was completed. When we turned the water on to fill the tub, the water leaked from underneath the tub. It turns out the tub drain is completely disconnected and snapped. Tub is not secured and moves whenever any amount of force is applied. In addition to plastic nut snapping, accordion style drain pipe is not connected in to trap adapter, but rather loosely is sitting inside the pipe like an air break on a washing machine. We reached out to Jason multiple times to address the issue. His response was the tub is installed correctly. However, we were told by several plumbers that the tub was definitely not installed correctly. Very disappointing experience with this business. read more

Honest, hardworking and conscientious team! We struggled to find a contractor willing to repair some termite damage, because the job was too small (in their opinion). Jason did a great job with our bathroom remodel. He also installed cabinets in our study. If there were any issues they were fixed with no complaints. Wow! What a great job completed by Jason and his team! They resurfaced and enlarged our kitchen counter tops with quartz, installed stack stone back splash in kitchen and around fireplace, remodeled the master shower with tile and frame-less door (photos below), replaced bath tub upstairs with walk-in shower in a very confined space and replaced all bathroom counter tops adding tile and mosaic borders. Why would I recommend these guys? So many reasons. The work was done quickly and efficiently with minimal mess, Jason was always within reach to communicate and implement adjustments, the contractors were reliable, trustworthy and a pleasure to have in the house (unsupervised much of the time) and the pricing was very reasonable with no hidden costs.
