He came out and spent time evaluating my roof and speaking with me about all my options. Houston Roofing and Construction was the only company that was concerned about maximizing my ventilation system. Ryan immediately noticed that my particular roofing system was not sufficient for my house.He pointed out that my house didn't have many ridges, to support the Ridge Vent Ventilation System. He suggested that I go with a turbine system that would maximum my ventilation system that would in return help extend the life of my roof. Ultimately I opted to file an insurance claim which is quite a lengthy process. Ryan offered to come out when the insurance inspector came out to evaluate my roof. He helped me throughout the process and made sure I understood all the roofing terminology. He was an invaluable resource through the entire process. Houston Roofing company is a great choice if you are looking for a superior level of knowledge and service. During the installation, they caused severe damage to my front yard, including destroying a rare and expensive Japanese maple tree. Their method of "protecting" plants was just throwing a tarp over them, which did nothing to shield them from falling shingles and tools. A three-story ladder fell on my shrubs, damaging several, and worse -- it also fell onto my brand-new AC unit, bending the top grill. Since then, the ventilator has been rotating only millimeters away from the edge on one side, at risk of scraping. On top of that, there were permit issues. It took multiple emails and calls from me -- both to the company and the permit office -- to get it straightened out. They tried to tell me that "approval of the drawings" was the same as having the permit approved, which was not true. The confusion dragged out the inspection process unnecessarily. They never offered to fix or compensate for any of the damage. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend them.

Torn out complete granite and tile work routinely sometimes three times before getting it right. They have electrical run by guys who are hourly labor for the company and is questionable if they have any certification at all even on a journeyman level. Make sure you ask if you decide to use them because in order to be a journeyman, you are required 4 years of on the job training while attending school one night a week to attain this certification. So before you allow them to touch your home on any electrical issue ask to see there certification.

I had my floor redone from tile to wood , they didn't float the floor properly, you can see gaps in the baseboard and see many area that had hump which cause the floor to crack. Electrical wiring for my dishwasher wasn't properly installed, even best buy didn't want to touch it. The only good thing I can really say is window installation was done well. It's excuses after excuses. Whenever I asked to get it fixed, it seems like David was doing my a favor. I would steer clear.

First time he got sick but didn't notify me he wasn't coming. I called the company # and they notified me about him being off. He also called and apologized. Understandable, things happen. We scheduled another visit a week later (two times I've taken off of work) and he no showed me again. This time because he had a doctors appointment. Was not notified of this..
