I love the idea of this place! The putt putt was glitchy and took a while to learn the interface. Plus at 22$ a person it wasn't cheap. We didn't try the food, but it looked like a solid selection of fried bar food. Had some drinks and those were fine. Hard to rate beers, but The bartenders were so kind and awesome! I wish I had more time to just hang with them. The place has that "I'm modern" quasi flavortown vibe. Graffiti and bright colors. Had more potential than follow through but maybe it's brand new and will iron out the kinks over time. read more

We went to Putts & Pins last night for date night and got to experience the private party room. Great space to look into if you want a corporate event with lots of people, or a smaller gathering! You have a private bar, tables, two lanes of duck pin bowling, and six holes of their unique minigolf. We were able to try an abundance of food. I loved the bagel bites. Trust me, pass them up if you see them in the freezer section at the store and run to get an order of these. Perfect taste and brought me back to my childhood. The flatbreads were awesome and full of flavor. Can't go wrong with nachos. I loved the crispiness of the shrimp in the bao buns. The lobster hot pockets are good and very filling. Holy smokes, did you see the size of those chicken wings? I loved the Korean sweet chili over the dry rub personally. They also came out piping hot. This chef knows his stuff! Dessert was fun too. They made their own in-house freezer pops, delicious. But the homemade wildberry toaster strudel, wow. Perfect pastry, amazing wildberry flavor, and you can apply your own frosting. That was fun. The adult capris sun drinks are genius and delicious. Bartender was amazing too. Back to the venue, what a fun time. You can walk around with a plate of food and drink in hand while you play minigolf as each hole has a small table. For duck pin bowling, there's comfy seating and plenty of room and end tables. The bowling and mini golf were a fun treat while the star of the show was the perfect appetizer sized food and the fantastic drink samples. We were looking for something to do and also hungry for something to eat. My biggest complaint about the place was finding the entrance...we literally walked all the way around the building before finding a door that would open! It is a long strip-mall conversion with a bunch of glass doors...most of which say No Access on them - but no signs to a door that opens. Once we finally got inside, we were impressed with the clean, modern feel and buzz of activities - with multiple game choices including duckpin bowling and 2 different 9-hole mini-golf courses. Before playing mini-golf, we started with adult beverages (reasonable selection available), then ordered the Nachos Nirvana (see picture) to share. The nachos were very good, well above the average pub food and the price given the portion size seemed to be a reasonable value. Place was really quiet when my mom and I went there. We paid for duckpin and mini golf. Duckpin was more on the expensive side especially if you have played before like I have. I can play the price they charge for 30minutes for an hour where I live. The mini golf was fun and reasonable. They have 2 courses we only played one. You scan your putter every round and it will record your game. It was fun and we had a lot of laughs. We did end up ordering. I had to ask a lot of questions due to my gluten and dairy allergy and the waitress had no clue what the answers were at all. I think we spent about 20 minutes just having her run back and forth with questions for the kitchen to answer. We ended up just getting the nachos nirvana without queso or avocado crema. Attended a couple group events. First about a year ago in the party room. Seemed to run well, food was standard. Good bartender, games were fun. Second was alright. Bowling was fun, mini golf pretty glitchy. The food served seemed to be good, I only had the fries but they were good. Service was problematic, no mixed drinks available. Extremely warm, all in our group were overly warm. Nice premise but need to fine tune service if reaching a clientele beyond teenagers. read more

The putting games were fun. One of the games was not working, bit if you scanned your putter and putted it gave you a score. Tje staff was friendly and helpful. However, I would opt not to eat. The food looked great. Until we took a bite of our French fries which had so much salt that none of us could eat them. When the waitress came to ask if we wanted anything else we said no, and mentuined that fries were inedible and she apologized and stepped away and laid our bill on tje tables in less than 1 minute. No offer of a discount, free drinks dessert or anything. We never saw her again lol Another gentleman cleared our table. We still left a tip for the work she did.It wasn't her fault the kitchen was over zealous with a salt shaker! But tje food wasn't that great qe would eat here again. Play putt putt, sure. Met coworkers for a happy hour informational work type gathering. The tables and bar area and kitchen is set in the middle of the venue as you enter. The 2 9-hole mini golf courses are a unique digital/electronic type spread out across the length of the venue. The 4 lanes of duckpin bowling with the smaller balls and pins on one end of the venue are great for the littles who like to bowl. Then the large yard-sized games like Jenga, Connect Four, air hockey table set up on the other far end of the place near the bathrooms. This area seemed to be closed the afternoon we were there and we didn't know it existed until we went to the restroom. Food was ok-just the standard bar & grill type apps, sandwiches, salads and entrees. I loved the decor, colors and lighting, 80's hot pink & black colored retro vibe. We reserved two bowling lanes and was able to fit 14 people. It was a really fun time and the service was super speedy with getting us drinks and food on a busy Friday night. I'm kinda surprised though that it feels smaller inside than expected and there's only four duckpin lanes total. We were excited to see this place open so close to where we live (easy walking distance) and finally had the chance to try it on a Friday evening. We arrived at 5:30 and were immediately seated. Food is ok but not standout. Had read when they first opened that Buffalo Cauliflower was on the menu and was disappointed to find it no longer on the menu. Hubby had a burger, I had the black bean patty and daughter had the nachos. We then did 18 holes of mini golf (you can choose between 9 and 18 holes). You select a team name and each player picks an avatar. Took us a minute to figure out how it worked but we got the hang of it. Don't forget to scan your putter! Hubby got a hole in one but it didn't count because he forgot to scan his putter! We never did figure out how the score was calculated! There was a DJ when we were there but the music was way too loud - don't count on having a conversation! This was not an inexpensive outing: dinner for three, three (alcoholic) beverages and 18 holes of golf came to over $150. For us it was a novelty but we wouldn't be in a hurry to return. read more

Staff worked to accommodate our missing reservation. We enjoyed the party room and drinks although the one bowl lane kept having errors so the men's game ended early. Checked it out while back in DSM visiting family - we are big mini golf / game fans so we were really excited. The design of the mini golf is cheap, poorly designed, and glitchy. The mini golf holes malfunctioned multiple times while we were playing (balls getting stuck inside mechanisms, computer glitching, etc) and I noticed it was happening to a lot of people around us too. The whole establishment feels sparse and a little tragic. It reeked of frying oil. The bartenders were nice. Really wanted to like this place but would never go back, almost $80 for 3 people to play mini golf on equipment that isn't well made. Seems like a place created by someone who has never run a business before but wants to copy other popular concepts ... I don't think it will last long. read more

It was our first time here, and it was a great experience. We started with the course on the right as you walk in (course 2,) and then we got food. The only issue with the golf was hole 7 on course 2 would not register the ball going into the hole. The starting pad was also sinking in, which might have been causing issues. The food was great; the veggies on the burgers were fresh, but it took an uncomfortably long period of time to get the check for our table. We tried getting the waiters attention and made it clear we were ready to go, but ended up sitting waiting 10-15 minutes before being able to get her attention. Party of 13 with reservation booked weeks ahead, but only had 3 tables of 4 that we pushed together ourselves and squeezed in. Very loud and difficult to hear waitress or converse. Service was slow, had finished all of our drinks and went to the bar to get our own while waiting to get the food order taken. Food order was incorrect, bill was incorrect. Waitress friendly, but not very attentive. We pushed dirty plates to the end of the table, never were bussed. Positives: Kids enjoyed playing mini golf ($14pp for 18 holes).
