I've known Doctor Putterman and he is a very good doctor but the way that office is run is for the birds. I had an appointment for a bad knee that was hurting, at 12:00 pm on a Tuesday. I had to be at work at 2:30 and my office is about 15 minutes away from the doc's office so I figured I would have enough time. I was there at 11:50 and signed my name and sat down. I had changed my insurance so I put that down too but after sitting there for half an hour noone called me for my new insurance card so I walked there and told the blond lady and she said: ok, give me your card. At quarter to one I checked to see how long the wait would be and I was told very nonchalantly by that blond lady "oh a couple of more people ahead of you". I sat and sat and sat and started getting impatient because I knew even if they took me in, there will be another hour wait in the room (know from previous experience) Finally at 1:30 I went to the blonde one and told her that if I am not seen by the doctor by 2 pm I had to go because I had to be at work at 2:30. She said that she had no idea how much time the doctor will spend in each room and she did not even bother to apologize or go inside trying to find out. She did not care one bit that I was going to leave. How do they do the scheduling if they can't estimate how much time the doctor will spend with a regular patient. Emergencies arise but tell the patient, apologize, my time is as important as the doctor's and we all have responsibilities and jobs. I am never going back to that office; I've had it. No doctor has the right to make a patient wait that long. Dr. Putterman is a great guy but he needs to get a grip on the way his office is run. read more
