In the twenty plus years that I have been treated by Dr Mike DiGiovanna and his staff, I can say…read morethat they have treated me with kindness and expertise that has prolonged my life. Having several serious medical problems over the years, Dr Mike and the gang are always there for me not just with the best medical treatment but always with respect and caring that I have never found in any other Medical facility. I have seen my share of Doctors who do not care and you know that you are just another number in the sea of Specialists who make you wait 2 hours then get two minutes of their time that helps very little. Dr Mike on the other hand always makes you feel better and his positive, caring attitude is wonderful. He listens to ANY of your concerns, does not rush you and gives you ways to make your medical problems better. Even though I no longer live near Dr Mike, the 30 mile trip is well worth the effort and he will remain my Primary care doctor for as long as he or myself live. As I have said to him, please NEVER retire. I would be lost without him.

If you want a caring and concerned doctor with great bedside manner then go to Dr. Mike DiGiovanna…read more I have been his patient since the last 12 years. I have also visited other doctor's offices since I moved away from South shore of Long Island but I soon realized there is no one better than him! My house is about 40 mins from his office now but I will not go to anyone besides him. His patient care and the concern he shows is excellent. I really trust him. He has a big and clean office. I know the front desk there about 7-8 years ago gave patient's a hard time but things have changed sine then. I'm glad my husband's uncle told us about him 12 years ago and I would refer anyone I know to him! 5 stars!

But she's a health professional and I'm not. So maybe I have a different take on it. Any who! Dr Ender has been a complete pleasure to work with. I immediately told him he reminded me of Roddy McDowall, so we talked about some movies & good restaurants of course. Nice easy conversation. His staff has been pleasant & friendly. We've even shared a few chuckles over silly stuff like the weather. He deals with my crazy work schedule, even doing testing on a Saturday. A test I did NOT like but was necessary. I even asked if I would receive combat pay for doing this unpleasant test. He laughed & said he was sorry it hurt but he needed to do this test. On the next visit he walks in with some Ferrero Rocher candies, smiles and says here's your combat pay, I didn't forget. We both had a good laugh. He ordered some more tests to confirm his diagnosis and all went well. So why only 4 stars? The office could use a slight update. It's not cool I can hear word for word what goes on in the next room. Better soundproofing would be good. Other than that I would definitely recommend him. Same doctor, different experience. 3-28-2017

I discovered STM Physical Therapy from a blind referral from my doctor. I had no prior knowledge of…read moreSTM or it's staff. I sprained my ankle pretty badly on a trip outside the country in August 2021. Jehan (Gigi) and her staff were extremely helpful in bringing my ankle back to nearly full functioning. This was my first visit ever for physical therapy and I must say I learned a lot about what they do. The staff is very professional and caring in their approach to each patient. I noticed each patient received individual attention and many of the patients has serious issues like knee replacements or were recovering from strokes. This impressed me. I mentioned to Gigi that I was an avid hiker and she did a series of flexibility tests and noted I had a deficit in the that area. I completed a section hike of the Appalachian Trail through the Great Smokey Mountains (310 miles) just before the pandemic. You can be a strong hiker but overuse certain muscle groups to the detriment of overall flexibility. I learned a series of stretching exercises that have greatly improved by walking ability. The nice think about Physical Therapy is that you can take the "lessons learned" home with you and continue to practice your exercises. And don't forget to buy your leg stretching rope!

This is the end of a chapter in my life. I honestly cared for and enjoyed the office staff. My…read morenurse Cara was always real and on point. Dr. Fabregas was understanding and treated me holistically. He was just so authentic and understanding. I even saw his wife for social working to help me get through some things (until I lost my job and finances weren't great). Something has changed and the feeling I get is this practice is going to turn into a doc-in-the-box. The last few times I was seen was for a horrible and debilitating chronic cough, which the new PA thought may have been whooping cough. After rounds of steroids and rashes... and now losing bladder control during fits... I was at my wits end. I made an appointment which the staff accommodated the same day (I truly believed they cared) and when I was called in, I had a coughing fit and embarrassingly could not make it to the room. Luckily I had spare pants in my car. In the 5 mins I took to clean up, they'd given my room away, and tucked me into the rooms where they do sono. When a room opened up they asked me to move to it. I'm feeling so awful at this point. Write me a script for steroids, inhaler and I ask for a narcotic cough syrup, to improve my cough and maybe it would alleviate my symptoms. (The new PA who is very nice took care of me). A day later I'm in bed sleeping (finally! And not peeing myself!) the cough syrup is working! My mom who is also a patient comes over to check on me. I tell her to see if we can refill the syrup, I can make it stretch but I can live until this cough subsides. When my mom called it was a fuzzy back and forth but basically they denied it, said they wouldn't refill and then hung up on my mom. After over 15 years of going to this practice... Cara the nurse called me because I had cancelled a physical but they didn't put that in the system, and I said, since I have you on the phone... and explained the above. She said she would talk to Dr, Fabregas. I never heard back, I am embarrassed, upset, and hurt. I love this doctor. I wish him and his practice the best, but inconsolably it is sadly no longer for me.
