I came here years ago and it was not a good experience because the dr refused to give me a shot,…read moreinstead saying I needed to get an MRI and yeah ruined my Christmas and a vacation blah blah. Anyway again as I'm now prone to getting calcium deposits, they have a technical name but I just call them that lol. I started with one in my right elbow, then 2 in my left elbow, doing an MRI after the 2nd time since that's the time to do an MRI after it pops up twice in the same spot. Anyway it's more common in the shoulder and I joked that'll be next. Skip ahead months later and bam shoulder is killing me. I get a massage, still pain, realized it was probably one of those pesky little deposits and ran over here. I was seen right away, and got a nice shot after confirming yup calcium deposit. I will probably end up getting an MRI in the future just to check as I did with my elbow but it's nice for the time being to be out of pain and able to enjoy my weekend. Getting a shot is not fun btw, it gave me a nice anxiety spike the next day and some anger mixed with my wacky hormones lol. But at least I can sleep peacefully and able to use my arm so hey I'll deal with it. I was in and out. I came here hoping for right away care, a solution and I got it. Much better experience this time around, compared to saying hey go somewhere else right before the holidays knowing I wouldn't get in anywhere that quickly years ago. So now I'd recommend this place or maybe the dr this time was just better and since I haven't had any injuries I most likely have no real actual damage to omg need an MRI. It's just a common thing that happens to happen to me lol. Some are prone to these things and I'm sure they'll pop up again one day. I'm hoping I never need a shot again or need to come here at least for a few years. I'll for sure be sending anyone I know to come here if anyone I know gets hurt. I'd highly recommend if you need a walk in place. I mean most specialty doctors can't even see you for weeks so it's nice we even have a place like this.

This is a GREEDY, money-hungry, disingenuous COMPANY that has no right to be in the business of…read morehealthcare. They recently cut off any patients who were receiving services under less-expensive health plans, and put a stop on any patients receiving a discounted rate due to financial issues, regardless of where they were in their treatment. Essentially, the COMPANY will not ALLOW treatment for low-income patients unless they can somehow pay exorbitant out-of-pocket fees, 5x the amount they were paying at the time of this corporate decision. PROFESSIONAL PT, the CORPORATE OFFICE, does not have any concern for the patients' well-being or care, as long as they are seeing a large profit. I am profoundly disgusted with their practice and insincere regard for the people the COMPANY is supposed to be serving. They cut corners in every way that they can. Professional PT, the COMPANY, should be ashamed of themselves. ***This is not a reflection on the PHYSICAL THERAPISTS themselves, who at this particular location, are EXCELLENT.

Initially going into Dr. Guttman's office, I was very aggravated simply for the fact that I was…read moreinjured. I was training for the bikini division in several NPC bodybuilding competitions, and I was very nervous of setbacks. I didn't care that there wasn't much bedside manner - as long as a doctor knows what he/she is talking about, I am fine. There were times I felt defeated by my injury/ies (I'd never been injured in my life, suddenly I took a few hits within 1-2 yrs), and the staff in Woodbury really added insult to injury (on an administrative level). However, I will say, I didn't always give Dr. Guttman the benefit of doubt (he IS THE DOCTOR after all), I was probably more of a pain in the butt than I should have been (but I was hungry and injured), and I think I treated him a bit unfairly at least once, though a family member put me in check after that. Overall I will say Dr. Guttman knew his stuff. He wasn't overreacting to my injury - I was - because it was mine, after all. He sees injuries all day long, many I'm sure far worse than mine, and despite having torn several parts of my body in about 2 years and each being a tragedy for me, Dr. Guttman didn't steer me wrong. His under-reaction was a blessing, which I didn't realize at the time. He was right all along, and I can appreciate that he never pushed surgery or anything like that. I am grateful for my visits with him!

When I needed a job he reached out to me to be a physical therapist aide which I am highly trained to be. Working under his supervision he would always be in a grumpy mood, never polite. I would try to brighten his day and say good morning but he would give me no response. Every biweekly when we would get paid I would have to be the one to remind him to pay me because if not he would not give me my paycheck until I asked for it. I heard this wasn't his first offense with not paying his workers. He is very cheap and stubborn. When I put in my two weeks he automatically got mad and asked why I even bothered to work there. In my defense I was helping him run a business by helping his patients who were hurting and I was helping myself build a name for my future. He was too coward to ask me to leave so he told the PT to send me home that day. As I was leaving I asked if he wanted me to still come in for my next shift and he said no. In response to his denial to return I still patiently waited for my check that I earned in the hours I worked. Every other Friday is payday so I politely asked the receptionist if I can come in to receive my check today but she was too scared to ask the doctor, and as I was overhearing the conversation he said he wouldn't like me to come to the office so he's going to mail my paycheck which I have been calmly waiting for about a week and a half. Totally unlawful to not hand me my paycheck for the hours I've worked so hard for. I've been nothing but nice to that man and his business to not respectably get my check. All I can do is hope he does the right thing and actually mail my paycheck with the right amount of hours and pay. I am writing a Yelp review to help future physical therapy aides or workers who are looking for a nice job especially during this whole pandemic. Best of luck and hope that whoever reads this it helps them find the best place to go.
