The prices are reasonable and I am always thankful that the owner makes the place affordable for all families. The arcade also has many cool games and can entertain the kids for hours. They also have bumper boats but we have never done them because it is never warm enough, in our opinion, to get wet from them. They have a little snack bar with decent pricing and portions. The cashier in the booth stated they would be open the next day (Sunday) and to try again. When I asked about the 5 minute delay she gave us an attitude and we left. We arrived the next day to see the same open sign, written in pen on a white board, and upon further inspection the second gate was closed. We had to go to their website to find out that they were closed for rain. We stayed in the area to see other attractions (the high ropes course down the road was still open). The day turned out to be beautiful and only rained for a few minutes in the morning. Ultimately we were unimpressed and disappointed with the staff and hours. Maybe next time.

The Go-Karts, Bumper Cars, Arcade, Slick Track and all the fun I've had there since I was a little kid all live in my memory. The Fun Center is one of the most important and vivid businesses in Ocean Shores. But what I have to comment on is their yearly Holiday Light show! We've caught it two years in a row when we stay in Ocean Shores for Christmas and it is spectacular. We marvel at just how much work much go into the yearly coordinated light show this business puts on. This year especially was spectacular and we loved pulling off the road and watching the 20 minute show. The Fun Center's annual Holiday Light show has become one of our favorite parts of Christmas in Ocean Shores every year. I just had to comment on how awesome it is and how much we appreciate it. We laugh so hard our stomachs hurt--basically a full core workout disguised as chaos. The 10th hole is the best, may you win the prize! Rain, heat wave or dark of night... you may play! We like the big open front and convince of it being on Broadway on the 1st block off the beach. It's an easy walk to grab a "Pronto Pup" and a drink then head back to a beach side bench... It's fun to see the families who like us, have come here over the years enjoying good old-time fun! Spotlessly clean and friendly staff! The "Ten Tiny Tees Golf" is part of the Funland Arcade and you may use your gaming card in both locations.

Thought I'd drop in & try it again at Rainier Lanes and really enjoyed it, probably start bowling again just for the fun of it. Place had kind of a funny vibe to it being a stranger to the place now, from the parking lot to entering, the inside just seemed narrow & cramped, even the restrooms, but still enjoyed getting out of the house & doing something a little physical for entertainment. Only real irritation was no one was really following proper bowling etiquette of not standing or getting up to the approach while someone is bowling in the lanes next to you, we used to always wait, eye check the others waiting to see who goes ahead while the other steps back until it is their turn, but then that is what you learn playing league I guess. But I encourage everyone to consider bowling as another option of entertainment, it's as social as you want to make it or something for your own activity...

While the miniature golf was great as usual, there was way too much grease on the surface where the cars were on so it made it unusually difficult to even get in a few laps or bump others as there was very little gripping of the surface. Plus there was considerable grease on the steering wheel which also contributed to difficult steering. We hadn't experienced this under the former ownership, which I believe was a family operation. While it brought back memories, just sliding around w/o control due to too much grease makes us wonder if it's worth coming back. Hopefully the new owners read reviews and take notes as to what is good and what needs improvement.

I understand they are only open for a short season and they have to make some money while the windows open. The ONLY negative thing I have to say is that the attendants aren't very friendly. They make grunting noises and point a lot. I understand the employee pool in a small town runs shallow but come on, you can find someone who would a least show they half way enjoy their job. This is an amusement ride already. GET AMUSED!
