Decided to walk outside to vape and a nice senior member walked out to smoke with us...we found out she grew up in the area and she was sharing stories about her family with us, which we were all enjoying...then the bartenders friend came outside and ruined the whole vibe by saying she didn't like us and then made fun of the senior member. Called her out as being a mean person and headed out. Not sure what we did to feel unliked...we were nothing but polite and friendly...my partner was really upset we were treated like that

The hollandaise sauce looks a bit funny (maybe it split?) but still tastes good. I like the benedict a lot but wish it had more crab. Service wise, the only hiccups that I experienced were that I asked for ketchup but it never arrived and I was too lazy to get up to ask again. Plenty of parking at the hotel and it's located literally right off the beach so there's a nice view as well. The hotel itself is super outdated, but that's most hotels at Ocean Shores. The hotel could definitely use some new carpets, as the ones they have throughout the hotel and in the rooms are pretty gross looking. Water pressure from the shower is basically non-existent, and they only provided us with two towels for our stay... We called down for more and they happily brought more up, thankfully! The bonus is that they have a large indoor pool - had my older kids tagged along they would've loved that. We might make a point to stay here with them again in the future so they can take advantage of that after we're done playing on the beach. The restaurant and lounge seem to be permanently closed, or maybe closed while they repair the exterior of the restaurant? Can't tell. Overall a decent place to stay when in town.
