Everything is so clean and the atmosphere inside is calm and relaxing. When we first visited the hotel, we were amazed that the owner (Sandy) built a separate house on her property just for the cats. The hotel is immaculate and the floors are heated (for the kitties comfort). There are 2 levels to the facility, the larger rooms (floor to ceiling) on the lower level while smaller rooms are upstairs. The facility has a monitored fire/security alarm system. I am an anxious pet owner and knowing that the cats are here when we're away, I feel completely at ease because they are in excellent hands. Sandy asks for our vet information and any emergency contacts so that should something happens, she will make sure the cats get the help that they need. We have 2 cats and I always check them in to the "Emperor Suite", a pretty sizable corner room (floor to ceiling) overlooking the front yard. I would recommend making a reservation a few months in advance because every time I'm there, the hotel is usually quite full. Did I mention this place is ridiculously clean? You won't even find a stray cat hair in the common area. p.s. here's a gratuitous pic of my cats (because what is internet without cat pictures, even on yelp)

We always worried about leaving them, not knowing if they would come out to eat. It made traveling very stressful. This was our second time with Selma (the first was a 5-day trial), and we left for 18 days. Honestly, we never imagined this would happen--our cats gradually came out to see her and even finished their food before she left. Our boy, Wally, even welcomed her at the door. Selma made the impossible possible. Thanks to her patience and deep understanding of cats, we now feel free to travel with peace of mind. We highly recommend Selma as a cat nanny. If there is one thing I will miss when we move away, it's Cat Nanny.

We even connected up with Caroline at Paws for a Cause and dropped into see the Daycare facilities (Remy approves). For…read moreall pet lover that are in need of a solution for your pets illness, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC. Went here because my usual vet was all booked and I was very worried and wanted my cat to be seen immediately. 1) Front desk lady had extremely bad manners. Glared at me most of the time(?) and always on the phone. 2) The doctors here are always "unsure" of what's wrong and would recommend extra things " just to be sure". Spent 1k doing all the tests that they recommended waited over the weekends for the results to come back, and afterwards they told me, they did not find out anything specific and required me to do more tests so that they can find the exact medication to treat me cat. Yet when I went back to my old clinic they were able to tell me, my cat had a fever, the medication this clinic provided will not help and he needed to do surgery immediately so that his infection won't spread. Overall, terrible experience. They are extremely unprofessional and just cannot be sure with anything. Probably just finding ways for you to pay more instead of actually helping your pet. Find somewhere that actually cares. (Ps. Spent nearly 2k here for a case that cannot be solved just because "they cannot be sure.")

Janine asked all the right questions, cared about Kali's needs and most importantly made us feel that our home would be secure in Janine's hands.
