The owner Lori was exceptional... you can tell that she really loves and cares for cats. The location itself was beautiful, there were little cottages for the cats with cute little kitty window suites inside of them. The place was clean, calm and upon arrival... there was cat nip treats & soothing music playing throughout the cabin. Because we don't have a car, Lori was nice enough to delivery our kitty for a small fee. When Mickey came back to us he was calm and I could tell that he was really cared for while we were away. I would not hesitate for a second to use the Purrsnickety Inn again.

What a frightening experience. I took my five month old Boston/French Bulldog cross to Gale's…read moredaycare and couldn't be more disappointed. Theo is on a raw diet and has never had any processed dog food- I provided Gale a serving of his meal and requested it be given to him around noon, and even wrote these instructions on the bag. On day one of daycare, I picked him up around 7:30pm after my work shift. As soon as Gale handed him to me I knew something was not right. My normally lean dog was immensely bloated, his abdomen easily double the circumference as when I dropped him off 12 hours earlier. He was obviously uncomfortable and immediately passed the most horrible smelling and very large stool. Gale minimized the problem immediately and said that while she had stepped away Theo had gotten into two different kinds of dog food that had been put out for other dogs. While I recognize the possibility of this being an honest mistake, she proceeded to tell me that she didn't think anything was wrong as he ATE HIS DINNER NO PROBLEM before I arrived to pick him up. Not only did she feed him 6 hours after I and requested, she did so despite his obviously distended and uncomfortable appearance. The gross negligence and obliviousness could have resulted in something very serious happening to Theo. My poor dog who is normally just under 10 lbs weighed 13 pounds when I got home. He was guarding his abdomen, and his flatulence and huge, unhealthy stools went on for an entire night. Im grateful he didn't develop canine bloat and die. If you want your dog safely supervised and diligently cared for, avoid Gales daycare services.

He takes great care of our cats (one of whom has a complex care routine), sends us photos, and writes little notes for us to enjoy when we return home. On our most recent trip, we were delayed getting home and Thomas was super flexible and accommodating, making an extra visit to our cats at the last minute. She's highly sensitive husky mix. It took a few visits. We got to a weekend, a week and one ten day stay. When the last thing you want to worry about on vacation, on a tight budget, is your dogs well-being ... I trust Nopawblems. She's is a little highly stimulated each time. She prefers home. But she's not upset or frightened. I am secure with my choice. If anything comes up she is in the best hands.

I took one of my young dogs to a session with Joyce for help with his aggressive behaviour. I had sought help previously from a series of recommended trainers and vets. In one session,Joyce provided me more help than all the others combined. One of my very old ( 16+) dogs refused to eat one day. Realizing that this was not normal for him, and knowing his age, and after trying unsuccessfully to reach me, they took him into their home and sat with him. He passed away peacefully in a few hours, in the company of loving humans. After speaking to me, they took him to a local vet and had him cremated and gave me the ashes. It was a hard sad time, and I cannot imagine a better way to end a long life. This is absolutely the best place for a dog to be. The only drawback is that they are so good- and it is not easy to get a space.
