The drinks here are amazing! Food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. We had the brisket burger and the rib eye, and for our aoetizer the flatbread. Our favorite was the rib eye that came with a delicious cilantro sauce (not chimichurri). The burger was way bigger than what I expected, but I felt there were some hard pieces within the meat, like bones..? Cute little place but from the outside we thought it was going to be a little more upscaled. read more

The restaurant is gorgeous inside, but we won't be back. Pros: The shrimp tacos were delicious and the right level of spicy. The burger had a good taste and their fries were delicious. The bacon on the burger was thick and delicious. Cons: It took 30 minutes to get our drinks. Then both meals (tacos and burger) were super sloppy to eat (which is ok except we only got 2 napkins). My husband also didn't finish his burger because the bottom bun was soaking wet with grease. The avocado fries are also more of a novelty then something worth eating. Unfortunately we also receives our appetizers of the avocado fries AFTER we had finished our meal, so that was a waste of $12. The waitress wasn't the friendly, or rude, but very neutral to us being there. I don't expect overly friendly, but a greeting would have been nice. While I understand the restaurant may be understaffed, like most of America, it also took us over 5 minutes to be greeted by a waitress even though we saw them standing and waiting for food. Also - don't sit by the front door when it's cold. Their double door system DOES NOT keep the cold out and you get bursted with cold air every time someone leaves. Two drinks, an appetizer, two meals and a nice tip was $100. read more

While we are still not totally sure what the name refers to, we decided we need to come check this place out after the long awaited opening. It's located just around the corner from the Capitol theater, it is definitely going to service great place to go either before or after shows! The place is a very unique field... And not necessarily in a bad way, just got away that's hard to describe. There's really nice wood paneling along the walls, the tables and chairs are all very nice, and the flooring is very high-quality. The one thing that we kept noticing and that we'd heard others, Dan is that the place is very open. Again, not in a bad way, but in the way that almost makes you feel like this is a really nice cafeteria, or a really nice gymnasium is hosting dinner. I'm not sure what could be done to change it, other than taking some of the tables out of the middle of the room, but at the end of the day it's not a big deal. It doesn't really take away from the Ambience, it just makes it a little bit different than expected. The majority of the drinks that they serve are very fruit forward and sweet. There's definitely a Mexican theme that runs through many of them, and we really liked it! There were a couple of drinks that were familiar as well as a Plenty that were new to our pallet. The appetizers we had were phenomenal. We had some Thai chili shrimp which had just a little bit of kicking in really nicely done. We also had one called arancini - they too are delicious. They're lightly breaded risotto balls filled with cheese and spinach. Service and basil in over a red sauce. They were very Italian in nature and were quite nice! We shared a hangover burger and this one had a ton of potential, but still has a little bit of work to be done. It had ham, cheesan egg and some really good bacon. The only issue with this burger was the fact that it definitely needed salt. Not a tough thing to fix, but definitely one that needs to be fixed for it to be a legit burger. There were a lot of different salad, burger and larger plates available. They have a farm to table focus which works perfectly for the area! All in all, they've got some great things going and a couple things that can use some work, but most are easy fixes. Definitely a spot that's worth your time checking out. read more

I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. First of all, the category of tacos is very wrong. I didn't even see tacos on the menu. Atmosphere: The dining area and bathroom had a nice feel to it. The bathroom smelled and looked really nice. I rarely take notice of bathrooms in a review, but man, I inhaled deeply to smell the scent. Weird, I know. The restaurant has a bit of an upscale vibe. The glass that my iced tea came in looked like a cocktail glass. It may be for I believe that this is a cocktail bar at night. They use cloth napkins. Service: It took a little longer than I expected to get the menu since they were almost empty, but it wasn't bad. My waitress was very friendly and brought me a refill of my iced tea without me needing to ask. It did take a while to get my check. There was one other table there by this point. It took 20 minutes to get a check after I was done eating. Food: I had the cajun mac and cheese. It was very tasty. Sometimes when you have mac and cheese, you don't see the grease in it. Theirs, I definitely did. But, it was very, very good. It came in a cast iron skillet, which I'm sure they cooked it in, so it stayed nice and hot in the duration that I was eating. I'd come here again, just not when I need to be somewhere after by a particular time. Pricing: My mac and cheese was $15. It seemed to be a bit pricey for the portion size. That being said, the food seemed to be made with quality ingredients. You pay for quality. read more

Wonderful new gem of a restaurant in Yakima. Started with the avocado fries - light and fresh. I had the warm spinach salad which was one of the better ones I have enjoyed - candied walnuts balanced the blue cheese nicely and the dressing was light. A guest enjoyed a Caesar salad which had lightly grilled lettuce and a chicken breast that was tender and well prepared. Desert was fried apple pie with homemade ice cream that was surprisingly terrific. Pair this with great service and a airy interior and we will return again and again. read more

We really enjoyed lunch at Purrr! The service was attentive, professional - outstanding overall. The menu was diverse and interesting. The bacon cheeseburger was one of the best burgers we e had in town. The Loco Moco was the best we've had this side of Kona! This will definitely become a regular spot for us! There are another 10 things we want to try on the menu. If you haven't been here yet, definitely go check them out! read more

Visiting Yakima for work, I decided to stop here because it was in walking distance of my hotel. I ordered the Peach lemonade vodka with fish and chips. The drink was only $7.00 and was truly amazing. The fish and chips were tempura style with no tartar sauce but more of a remoulade. It was ok. The fish was in big chunks and hard to cut up or eat by hand. The service left much to be desired, especially since it was empty. I would say give it a try if you're in the area, definitely has potential. read more

Overpriced, fly city, waitress inattentive, probably wont return , small servings and very little alcohol in mixed drinks!

Fantastic place for lunch. Best burger I've had in a while. The service was great, noise minimal and price good for value.

Excellent place. I had not been to Yakima since well before COVID, but returned recently and met with a friend who suggested we meet there. Server (one of owners) was great, friendly and attentive. I order fish and chips and it was very good, just enough batter. Place also had a real nice vibe as well. I definitely will return. read more

I had the Avocado Fries, and Thai Shrimp. The food was great, but the service was even better! Gaby, the owner was also the bartender. She is an absolute delight! I am already looking forward to my next meal at Purrr. read more

Service is horrible. Arrived at 6:30. It's 8:22 and we haven't had dinner. Didn't get to order until a half hour and now it's been an hour and no food. I've had one drink that I finished a half hour ago. My 3 friends are also hungry and with empty glasses. We decided to walk out and go to cowiche canyon or our friends condo across the street. Ridiculous. Don't waste your time. . . read more

Such a great atmosphere! The drinks were tasty. Lots of options with fresh fruit juice. I ordered the best juiciest French dip and sweet potato tots! I couldn't finish the whole plate, but will enjoy it later as a midnight snack once there's room in my belly! The wait staff were friendly and attentive! I will definitely return and with lots of people! read more

I went into Purrr with really high expectations and perhaps that was what hurt my experience in the end. First the pros though: My husband ordered a steak and it was very good! They had Irish Death which was very good, although it only came in a can The cons: The lighting in this establishment leaves much to be desired. I found myself immediately disappointed with the layout and lack of color and brightness. I understand that you go there to eat, but if I opt to eat out, I want an experience. There was 0 ambiance in this place. No artwork on walls, no creative lighting, no dividing walls. It was plain, has department store lighting and a very random soundtrack playing. I was surprised with the lack of non alcoholic drink choices.. they had no coke, no Dr Pepper and no grenadine to add to the Pepsi they did have... but they have a bar so?? It also bothered me that when I ordered the fish and chips, they did not want to give me mashed potatoes as a side instead of fries even though they had mashed potatoes and it was an hour til closing and the place was pretty empty. The potato skins were cut very thin and dry and somewhat hard in some places so we didn't enjoy that. Overall the place was very lackluster and I don't think I'll return. The servers were nice and perhaps if they work out some kinks we will try again but not for a while. read more

First things first, I'm the realest. Back to the review, came here for ladies night.. they played banger after banger. Our waitress Jordan, was beyond accommodating. Ordered the jalapeño poppers, spicy af (not for me) but had good flavor. Highly recommend the seafood pasta or the twisted club, scrumptious . Okkurrrrt! read more

We had a wonderful late lunch today. Started off with an amazing Bloody Mary that was a lunch itself. My husband enjoyed a strawberry vodka lemonade which he really liked. I ordered the filet and grilled shrimp for lunch and my husband had the salmon! Veggie heaven in addition to a wonderful meal. Elyce was a fantastic server and couldn't have been sweeter! Other than needing a tv or 2 or some decor for the walls, no complaints from us. Looks like Yakima has a new fabulous place to eat and drink! We thought the prices were very reasonable! read more

Tonight was the second time I've been to Purrr. Each time, the food was great, the drinks were outstanding, and the service was excellent. First time, I had the Mango Cream Cheese Jalapeño Poppers and they were great. A word of advice, though. Unless you have a strong stomach, don't eat the whole order! I was paying the price for the next three days, if you know what I mean! Tonight, my wife and I both had the French Dip and, no joke, it was probably the best French Dip I've ever had. The baguette was unreal and the house made au jus was perfect! If you haven't tried Purrr yet, do it! You won't be disappointed! read more

Woooooww! This place is amazing!!!! Loved everything we tried here. Everything was made fresh to order and we enjoyed the drinks very much. We tried several starters/dinner plates during our stay in Yakima and loved everything. The staff was super friendly and gave us great customer service! We love the Fiery Thai Shrimp and the Hand Dropped Onion Rings! They will definitely have you wanting to come back for more (as we did). Also if you love spicy make sure to try there wings and Jalapeño Poppers as they will not disappoint! The poppers came with a dipping sauce that was sooo delicious i even ended up using it for my fries! Cant wait too come back to PuRRR again in our next visit to Yakima. This is a must GO TO PLACE! Always good. Peak dinner hours and days are the best time to go. My husband had the ribeye, he said 2nd streets was better but he loved the veggies here. I had the chicken Marsala. Came to Purrr via a recommendation of a friend. I'm from Yakima, but I've been living in Seattle the past 2 years so I had no clue there was a new restaurant. We were told the drinks were good and we were not disappointed. They only use real fruit to make them. From classics to creative originals. We had the Charlotte's web and Cantarito. The bartender David was really knowledgable and friendly. The food was also amazing. We had the beer battered onions and the thai shrimp, both really good. The layout is a little strange, it seems that there is an abundance of small tables in the dining area, but I'm sure this is something that will be updated at some point. Overall, we will definitely be back again, very friendly staff! read more

I've been coming here since 2020. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. I am pleasantly surprised with my food, every time I try something new. I have mixed reviews... if I could give 3-1/2 stars maybe ... we really enjoyed the food... they even substituted/ customized my order which I truly appreciated...and the service was great BUT ... I guess maybe because we are "older" we were bothered by the noise. Granted, it was a Friday and more people dine out & drink on the weekends... There is nothing at all in the Purr restaurant to absorb sound. Hard floors, hard walls, glass front, full windows & doors so sound just bounces all over ... I could tell that there were other people besides us that were bothered by the noise ... yes, I mentioned it to the very nice young lady who served us and I don't know if the other couple I observed said anything but they searched around for a less loud table ( no getting away from it ... sorry) We will go back because the food was excellent... perhaps there will be people with volume control and regard for other restaurant patrons ... read more

Drinks and appetizers were great. Took over an hour to get our entres. 40 minutes in with almost no waitress interaction, and only at about 25% capacity, we decided to ask for them to be boxed. 20 minutes later I had to ask a 3rd time about them, was told 4 more minutes. COVID or not, that is a very long time to wait for a meal. I'm not impressed. read more

I showed up 45 MIN before close. I could instantly tell by the waitresses body language, and rolling of the eyes that we were not wanted. We sat down and waited for over ten minutes, just to have one of them rudely tell us we need to put in an order right that second. The kitchen is closing and they don't usually accept orders this late.... 45 MInutes before close?!?! I said to her, well I have not been greeted and don't even have a menu yet. She literally just walked away and said nothing, so I left. Now I've been a waiter my entire work career so I know the industry, and this is far from the norm. Also, I wouldn't have wrote this if this was my first incident here. It was actually my second. The first time it was close to an hour before close. I've came to this restaurant twice now, just to be RUDELY pushed away. The owner/manager needs to instill a different culture in this place. If 30 min before close you want to do last call, and last dinner orders that's fine. But right now you're allowing your employees to scare away business just so they can get home early. read more

This was my first time visiting this place and I was completely WOWed! The establishment is nice, clean, and trendy. Danielle was my server and she was awesome!
