On January 2, I awoke to the sound of torrential water -- a pipe in the baseboard radiator in our living room had frozen and blown, flooding that carpeted space. I asked my Allstate claims rep to find and schedule an emergency cleanup company, and he contacted PuroClean in Kingston, NY. These guys are great! They placed and left equipment (including a big dehumidifier) and sprayed the carpet -- old and starting to stink -- with an antimicrobial that helped, very quickly. I have a complicated life, and the process of getting the furniture moved out of the room was delayed a couple of times. When that finally happened, Lorin Burr and Neko DeJesus from PuroClean came out the next morning. They removed the nasty carpet and pad AND all the staples and cleaned the sub-floor beyond our expectations. They were friendly, respectful and polite throughout the whole process, and willingly offered explanations when asked. They even let me smell the antimicrobial before they sprayed (entire family is very sensitive to fragrances). Two nights ago we had a clog in the pipe leading to our septic tank and unfortunately there was a fair deal of backup waste and water that filled part of our finished basement. After our plumber fixed the clog he recommended PuroClean to assist in the clean up. I called first thing the next morning and within 20 minutes their project manager Andrew was at my home to assess the situation. He had two crew members at my home by 4PM to tackle the job. This morning two other crew members came to remove some drying equipment and finish the work. Both crews were excellent and did an outstanding job cleaning up the mess. I had to call Puroclean for a water damage problem in my house due to burst pipe in my house. My insurance company told me I needed to get water damage specialist to come assess the damage. I called them that evening and they were there first thing in the morning. I could not have been more impressed by their professionalism and empathy. They set up 15 giant dehumidifiers all over my house. Then every single morning Loren of Puroclean came to my house to measure how well the house is drying out. He worked with my work schedule which meant a lot to me. He was kind and very efficient. Thanks to the excellent job he did I will not have to do to much demolition. I manage a large apartment complex. I just had a tenant move out after 10 years. Apparently they had a cat urinating the entire 10 years on the carpeting and the walls. The smell was beyond horrible. After many years of a wet cellar and when we cleaned the basement we found mold. PuroClean came to the rescue. Andrew Rankel and the crew that came to remediate the mold we very professional. Can't say enough good things about the team. They were prompt, efficient and communication was clear. Every question was answered on the spot and within an hour tops I had follow ups. In a nutshell we suffered a multi-room loss due to a flood upstairs that made it's way downstairs into other rooms. Wow. So the pipes in our walls burst and started spraying water through the walls and ceiling. Hashtag NIGHTMARE anyone? Puroclean was literally there in minutes and started helping to minimize the damage by taking out our walls and ceiling (YIKES!) and hauling ruined things away. We had an overflow from our heating system in an upstairs bedrrom which soaked the bedroom rugthe rug and pad in the kitchen below as poured water into a storage area in the basement below. We called Puroclean and within two hours they had set up fans an heavy duty dehumidifiers, taken up the rugs and pads and promised to clean them. Within three days o\everything was dry, the rugs and pads had been cleaned and put back in place and pur hpuse was back to normal. Their workmen were polite and professional at all times. Loved this company! I called them and they came to see the damage the very same day. I had an estimate by the end of the day and they arrived 2 days later to start the job. The crew was focused on their jobs and very courteous and efficient. They answered all of our questions and when they found more damage, they called the people that we needed. Every day the supervisor dropped by and checked out the work . As promised, they had the damage cleaned up within the week and we were on our way to complete restoration. I was just reading some of the negative reviews on PuroClean. I really think people write reviews mostly to complain. All my downstairs pipes burst during the extreme cold this winter. The insurance company suggested I get clean out service. I thought they would come in and clean up mess. PuroClean has been wonderful to me.
